Zara — selling torn products & unethical behaviour of the store manager

Bought zara leggings (Inr 2490) on 23-dec-2017. After wearing it for the first time on 31-dec-2017, i noticed it was torn from the front and the stitching was of the poorest quality. On 7-jan-2018, i went to the the store in ambience mall (#gurgaon) and the store manager mr. Bharat bhushan totally denied refunding a damaged product and rather gave us an irrational reason that the product is not re-sellable since the tag was not intact with the item. It was so weird to know that had the tags been intact with the product then he would have been able to resell a damaged product to other customers. Instead of sending the damaged product to the manufacturing unit, he was "rude" enough to say that he needs the tag intact with the product.

I need a full refund of the product back to my debit card i. E. Inr 2490.

Totally true. They don’t have proper customer service. Companies like m&s give u back full refund with no questions asked.
It’s insane trying to buy something with trust these days and land up buying something torn and worn with no courtesy to refunds
