Zee5 — App doesnt work on all TVs - ZEE5 doesnt refund Subscription

We purchased a Premium Subscription and made an annual payment. Post subscription, we realized that all movies that we intended to view do not play on the Samsung TV (Quantum Dot) we have. Upon raising the issue with the customer care, we receive an email stating that the technical team is working on the solution but cannot commit on time they would take to resolve the query. Till such they advise we should view this on any other device like a mobile or laptop or any other device where the app works!!! ROFL. Anguished also.

Upon requesting them to cancel the subscription, they deny cancellation and say the app works on other devices and hence its not their issue but ours! Other Devices! When it doesnt work on a TV, who cares which device it works. Its meant for TV viewing not any other device viewing. Nonsense.

Its pathetic that for 700 Rs they get back with these kind of reasons. When all other apps like PRIME or Hotstar or NETFLIX etc work really well, ZEE5 has issues and there is no refund policy.

Through this platform I would like to let subscribers know - NEVER EVER LOOK AT ZEE5 NO MATTER WHAT! TV MANUFACTURERS PLS BLOCK ZEE5 from downloading and viewing as this affecting your brand as well. BETTER BAN IT.
