[Resolved] Zoom Car — accused of smoking inside the car and wrongly charged for it. | |||
My first experience with zoomcar and i was happy with the experience until this morning when i got a notification for pending due of rs. 1000. Called customer care and learned that i have smoked in the car and that they have proof of it, and i should pay cleaning charges for the same. Told we never smoked and that i was with a family, but the executive asked if i have proof for my claim. Well, if i knew this was coming, i would've anticipated and taken the interior pics before locking off the car. After some argument, she advised me to file a dispute in the app and to upload an interior pics/video of the same. Lucky me that my cousin did take a video while we were on the road, but not sure if that video will be able to prove my innocence as it doesn't cover all interior. But the bottom line is, i was really disgusted as i accused of doing something which i didn't and that i shall have to pay for it now. I wish i had an action camera with me or if zoomcar installed dash cam in their "so-clean" cars. Was this information helpful? | |||
