[Resolved] Zoom Car — fine for incorrect allegation of smoking | |||
Booking id jps6x4v49. I was fined 1000 rupees even though i assured them that i’m a non smoker and no one had smoked in the car during the rental period. As their team reported that there was tobacco smell in the car they fined me. This is unfair as the smell was in the car during the rental period, i can lay an oath on it. But zoomcar is not willing to do anything about it and it’s a shame to use such a company for truthful and sincere customers like me. Will check the competitors and hope they are better. We understand your concern here. Please note, as per our policy customers are not allowed to smoke inside the vehicle. If such an incident is noted then customers will be penalized for the same. As we found some residue of smoking inside the vehicle, charges are levied for the same. Unfortunately, we will not be able to waive off the charge.
