[Resolved]  Zoom Car — fraud cancellation charges and outstanding amount

Hi,

Today i made a booking with zoomcar where i am supposed to take the vehicle from a residence area, which is 11 kms away from my residence. I went there by 2 o clock and tried unlocking the vehicle using the app. Then i got a error message saying that i am having an outstanding amount, which i should pay to get this car. I was bit shocked and made a call to customer care. They told i have a outstanding payment for booking made on 14 may 2015. Regrading this booking, it was a cancelled booking during that time zoomcar was not having cancellation charges. I don't know then how this outstanding amount is accumulated. The second question raised is cancellation amount is never can be greater than booking amount, so they how a outstanding amount. These are the fraud charges and zoomcar is cheating the customers like this. I am not allowed to take my scheduled car, which again lost me my hard earned money and customer support told i cant cancel the booking or no refund is giving for the same. We cant able to believe zoomcar anymore, there is no assure where you will get our schedule vehicle. Think of peoples who are urgently booked. Please no one do that may ended up in disappointment.

After 14 may 2015, i had made more than 10 bookings with zoomcar, never faced any issues. Its so ridiculous and fishy being after almost 3 years why they are asking for a outstanding amount. Zoomcar is not cared even to call or cancel my booking or help me to get the car. Zoomcar is giving least value to our money and time.

I am filing a complaint with consumerhelpline of india government and further moving to consumer court.

Pathetic and horrible disagreeable service from zoomcar. Zoomcar is just looting the customers and suggest not to use zoomcar instead use drivezy or others

Greetings!

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We did check the above issue and see that the refund for the booking - JPS6E6UW0, is processed thrice in the form of driving credits (total amount - 456). Hence, we have rectified the error and deducted Rs. 152 as a cancellation fee. Kindly note, you will be charged Rs. 200 if the booking is canceled more than 24 hours before the booking start time. As the booking amount was Rs. 152, you are charged accordingly. We see that you have used the credits in your later bookings, hence Rs. 304 is shown as outstanding. Kindly clear the outstanding amount so that you can use the service.

Why are processed thrice a refund? Did I ask to do so?
If you did so its your mistake. Not mine. It happened 2 years back and now you can tell anything. After that I made more than 10 Bookings, why didn't you ask for outstanding amount that time. After 2 years are you come up with this? If its added to credits, take it from credits only.
Now I lost money for the booking I made on 4th Oct and you are answerable for that. Neither you are ready to refund me nor provide me with vehicle.

For kind information, I am not going to pay even a single penny. ZoomCar is not only one car rental playing in Bangalore. I am ready to even go to consumer court, I should know the reason why I denied Vehicle after taking my money.
