[Resolved] Zoom Car — irrelevant applied damage charges | |||
I booked a car from zoomcar which i had to pick up from a society located in hinjewadi. I picked the car, drove safely and returned the vehicle in the same condition (Without even a minor damage). I was asked to leave the car keys inside the car and lock using the zoomcar app. A day later, i got a notification on app and was charged 9900 inr fine stating that i caused multiple damages and that i stole the car documents. I immediately called zoomcar support and asked them to investigate. They responded in a very short span of time and confirmed that documents in the car and that multiple damages were not caused. They decreased the amount to 4400 inr and said there were "not many but some damage" - which is a big lie. I followed up multiple times but they never agreed with me. My point is:- If you charged 9900 inr at first, you must have checked and then charged. How come re-evaluation showed such drastic results. This definitely means there is a flaw on how you monitored. Had it been true at the very first place, how come the charges decreased. Also, you said that i stole the car documents. How come the documents were found inside the car itself on the second day?
