[Resolved] Zoom Car — outstanding amount is greater than I was told. | |||
Hi zoom car team, My issue is regarding jps66x3pp booking. I booked car on 26 jan. 2020 8:30 am to 9:30 pm. Then i actually lost the car keys on 26 jan. Around 9:00 pm while visiting some temples as i went to visit temples of vrindavan. I informed zoom car customer care about loosing keys and they told me that i will be charged 10000 for the key lost charges as their policies and late fee would not be charged and it was showing on mobile application an outstanding amount of 10000 to be paid. Then customer care team told me that they are arranging a towing van to get the car back at pickup location. And on 27 jan. For the entire day i was at the car location where towing has to be done but towing van didn't come entire day and refused to come because the car was parked in a basement parking, and i had to stay there near car. Simultaneously i was trying to find the keys also because i knew that towing can damage to the car also and will be a trouble to zoom car team. Then on 28 jan still i was waiting for the towing van but they didn't come and entire day was passed and i informed zoom car team and they put a complaint against towing team as you can see in the system. Now on 29 jan. I actually found the keys back as simultaneously i was putting efforts to find the keys and i found it by help of a (One of the temples i visited that day) temple management team, they found the keys and returned to me. And then i returned car at my own to the pickup location on 29 jan. By 9:30 pm And now the mobile application is showing that outstanding amount is 42000 for the late fee of 3 days. But in this case it should be noticed that late was done by towing team and i was still trying to find the keys to save zoom car team time and efforts. And it should be also noticed that what would have happened if i didn't found the keys back then car would have been towing. So the charges should be only 10000 as i was informed earlier and mobile application was also showing. And late was done by towing team. Now i am not gonna pay 42000 because it was not my fault at all. It was towing team fault that they didn't come for 2 days. So the amount should be reduced to 10000. So i am requesting zoom car team that please reduce some amount. 42000 is huge amount for me and i am a student. Regards Kailash singh rathore. Was this information helpful? | |||
