[Resolved]  Zoom Car — they are charging an inconvenience fee without any reason and that too after three days since my booking got completed.

I made a booking with zoom car, they booking got commenced on feb29, 2020 at 7am and finished on the same day at 8pm. The next day i got an update for some impending charges that i paid. They completed the charges and initiated my security refund of 5000rs. Today (March 3, 2020), they added an inconvenience fee of 10, 000rs without any reason. If they had any issue they could have settled before completing my booking.

They haven't even returned my security deposit of 5000Rs which they initiated on March 1st, 2020. When I called them for an explanation, all I could get was an IVRS on call followed by call disconnection.

My Booking ID is JPS6NR5YV. For your reference, I am also attaching the images that you declared my booking complete without any outstanding charges and the sudden charges you added after a couple of days. The first one is of March 1 clearly saying that I don't have any impending charges and second one is of March 3 saying that I have to pay an outstanding charge of 10, 000Rs. If my booking is complete and you have declared that I don't have any impending charges, How come this 10, 000Rs outstanding charge popped up. If there is an issue, you are supposed to check for it before you declare that everything is okay. As I talked with your customer service, they have mailed me that charges are for RC of the vehicle. Does it makes any sense for you to declare everything okay without checking for it. How can you expect for a person to loose RC of the vehicle when everything else is fine. Also I have even seen the vehicle in Khirki extension, Malviya Nagar on March 2nd around 8am in the morning. If I lost some document, how are you renting the vehicle to someone else to drive. I am highly dissatisfied with Zoom Car service, their discordance with customers and the inability to understand basic customer issues.

We do understand your concern here. We did go through the booking and see that the vehicle RC was missing during your reservation, therefore, we have levied the charge of 10000 as per the policy. The charge levied is valid, we regret we will not be able to reverse the charge. Hoping for your understanding in this regard.
