[Resolved]  Zoom Car — unnecessary charges levied on me

Guys, \n\ni am just speechless by looking at your bill!!\nhow can you put the charges on me. On what basis 10000 rs is asked??\nthe car broke down for no reason of mine. How can you come to a conclusion that it was my fault. The battery drained out, the gear was locked after driving 200 odd kms. The car is already driven 48000 kms within a span of 1 year, and you think i am at fault\ni was stranded for 24 hrs with my family, i called innumerable times to seek proper support. Right from the beginning i have been explaining my plight to you guys.\nno towing personal, no immediate assistance, no remorse on your part as where i am, what\'s my family doing, how we spent the night at an unknown place and how we came back!!!\nafter going through so much mental harassment and physically draining out by following up with zoom and ford road side assistance, i can\'t even think how insensible you guys can be.

Your customer service says that you are reviewing the charges and says you have escalated to review the charges.
No one is responding or calling back.
Whereas on the other hand you are sending recovery notices for something which i have no fault.

This is a pure case of harassing the customer.!
First of all the car broke down, then no one came to rescue till 6 hours.
I had to make arrangements on my own for me and my old parents in the car and no one even bothered to check from zoom car.
Then i had to stay overnight at a place which was not a part of my plan, shelling out money on my own pocket.
Then i had to travel back on my own.
All the trouble and no remorse from zoom car is so pathetic!

While booking the car all i was told that during or if in any advent of a break down - i will get a separate car or a stay overnight and would also get money to get back to a safe location. And instead of even enquiring how i spent those 24 hours, i am getting recover notices for no reason of mine.

How can you come to a conclusion that it was my fault.
And who is going to re-imburse my money that i had to shed out of my pocket.
I paid additional security deposit and my trip was half in addition to numerous payments that i had to make because of a broken car.

We understand your concern here with regard to the levied charge.

We did go through the booking and see that the update has been already shared on the above escalation raised. Please note the charge has been levied post the proper inspection of the vehicle. We see that gear is damaged during your reservation. Hence, we have levied the charge. The charge levied is valid, we regret we will not be able to reverse the charge here.
