[Resolved]  Zoom Car — unnecessary damage charge imposed

Rented a scorpio mh14fc4119, on 24/8. Drove 150 kms approx, when the car broke down on 25/8 11.00 hrs (Suspected clutch plate/gear box issue) amidst a jungle (No mobile signal). Complaint logged at 13.00hrs, towing car arrived 26/8 morning.
Spent rs10500 over and above the booking amount but was falsely charged a damage fee of rs10000, due to breakdown.
Mechanical issue can crop up any time, but zoom car should have ensured proper servicing before issuing the vehicle, which should not have broken down within 150 hrs of driving, however horrible be the style of driving and road conditions.
Atleast their charging a damage fee of rs10000 as per policy must be intervened legally.
Also not sure how they will handle the replacement costs of service amounting to rs10500, borne by self.

Their charging a damage fee of Rs10000 as per company policy must be intervened legally, when it comes to breakdown of the vehicle, for which the customer who is in no way responsible for the preventive maintenance of the vehicle, should be penalised.

I was fortunate enough to get a proper time intervention although after 2 months, but better late than never.

Zoomcar has considered to reverse the damage fee of 10k, and also they returned on prorata base the money for unused hours which was very logical.

So I consider this case as successfully resolved and thank you as well as Zoomcar for taking prompt action for refund.

Resolved.
They refunded logically, but they did not reimburse the alternative cost for the journey due to bills not presented, because at that situation neither zoom, ola, uber like services were available.
Else happy, they took nearly 2 months time to resolve

One of my friend called zoomcar for their services but their executives abused my friend on call for not taking services.
worst experience ever had with him and i deleted zoomcar from my mobile and desktop as well .
