I booked a car through the company's mobile application. I had made an initial payment of Rs. 1258/- as initial rental charges for the aforementioned booking for car bearing registration number Maruti Baleno KA01MR3739. To extend my Booking, I paid 3090/- more and was supposed to return the car by 6th July 9.30 PM.
At 3.00 AM 6th July, on the way from Bangalore to Coorg, the car had a breakdown and we were stuck amidst a dark dense forest. There were 4 females in the car and there was absolutely no assistance from the Zoom Car customer care whatsoever. I was repeatedly asked to contact Justdial for nearby towing service and on being told to wait for 30 minutes, no one ever called back. However, by 5.30 I was able to arrange a towing crane all by myself, for which I was told that the amount would be completely refunded.
It has been 15 days now, on calling the customer service numbers, we are told that they will be back with an update in 24 hours. No action has been taken and is not tolerable anymore.
In accordance with the agreement duly verified and acknowledged by me and the company, and the Terms and Conditions of the company, the company is liable to and refund the following:
Initial booking amount- 1258
Continued booking amount- 3090
Petrol cost - 2000
Return Bus ticket cost(Karnataka bus services) - 2620
Toll charges - 760
Towing charges - 3000
