Zoomcar — incorrect fine being levied | |
I used their vehicle (Booking id: jps62jeg0) which was damaged by a 3rd party. Being a good customer i inform zoomcar about the incident (Which i am forced to believe was my biggest mistake) and later i was told by the company representative that the vehicle is my responsibility. So, i get the vehicle repaired same day, wasting my booking time upto 2 hours. After 2 days i get phone calls and mails threatening me to pay the damage penalties. When i already have got the vehicle repaired, why do i have to pay the penalties, i asked. I was told even after the repairs there were few small scratches. I was lucky i clicked a picture of the vehicle while it was being repaired, and immediately after it got repaired. The pictures being used by the zoomcar to prove that there are scratches are of the same vehicle which were clicked after 2 days. I have a thread of mails where i am in conversation with the team to resolve the issue. Apart from that i get another thread of mail (S) threating me to pay the amount of 2000 due on my account otherwise face civil charges and criminal proceedings. I want to know is this how zoomcar treats it’s customer. On one hand you are talking to the customer to resolve the dispute and on the other hand you threaten the customer to sue them. I believe this charge being levied is incorrect and wrong. Please help me with this issue. Was this information helpful? | |
