Booked XUV500 for a long distance outstation trip out of Bangalore. Received the car with poor condition of Rear Right Tyre, however, we accepted the car for the trip relying on stepney(Biggest Mistake). On 9th Jan, we suffered a tyre puncture(Rear Right Tyre) on the highway and during replacement with stepney we noticed, the tyre has no thread depth at all. Car was taken to nearest town for puncture repair but we were advised to replace with a new one as it couldn't be repaired. On further inspection, the mechanic informed Front Left and Rear Left tyres on the car are in not very good health. Raised breakdown request with Zoomcar Customer Care, emailed the pics of the damaged tyre and post telephonic approval from their team, purchased and fitted a new tyre (Rs.13, 800). We were undertaking a long-distance trip and needed all our tyres to be in Good health, hence, decided to change the damaged tyre(Rear Right). Post trip completion, we tried to raise refund request, but the customer support team keeps denying to refund the amount stating that damage occurred during the trip, hence, it cannot be refunded.
