Zoomcar — Refund not processed even after the very lengthy stipulated refund period | |||||
I had made my ZoomCar booking for a full day on 14th November, 2020. After completion of my trip, and verification of no damages to the vehicle, I was assured that a refund amount of 1483 would be credited back to my credit card through which I had made the payment. Even after hearing about the unusually lengthy and unheard of refund processing period of 30 days, I reluctantly agreed for this arrangement. But today as of 15th December, even after more than stipulated 30 days, I haven't received any emails from them about the refund, or any emails explaining the delays. When I tried calling the customer care number, I am unable to get through because I don't have an active booking, and they only provide live assistance to active booking users. This is clearly a case of customer harassment, and intimidation technique. This is a clear violation of the user agreement, and ZoomCar should be fully liable to not fulfilling customer grievances and unprofessional behavior. They should be directed to pay the customer in form of cash settlement, or direct transfer and not offer coupons in exchange for refund settlements.
