The Zoomcar company has deactivated their company phone number and they are not accepting any complaints through email. The complaints were open for 22 days while they say it will be addressed in 24 hours.
The Car was booked under Booking ID: JPSNCQJLH. with booking between 28th Jan 2023 to 6th Feb 2023. The car was sent with Full tank after full inspection on 27th Jan 2023 around 10 pm by Driver arranged by Zoomcar and the same was updated in booking checklist. The Guest Picked up the car on 28th Jan 2023 at 4;30 am as per the WhatsApp notification received. The Guest started complaining about an AC malfunction around 11;30 am. Even Though the ac was working well when it was sent. The car was returned on 30 Jan 2023 7:40 pm.
I have raised a complaint after inspection under Ticket ID 1653240 as soon as the car was returned on 30 Jan 2023. Received a general response as AC issue classified under maintenance and refused to inspect vehicle based on the complaint. So, I sent the car to FPL Hyundai - Chromepet (Authorized Hyundai service center). After inspection the mechanic found the ac condenser unit had a puncture hole stated it would have been caused by sharp object when driving the car from bottom. Also, even after further inspection found that due to continuous usage after condenser damage the ac compressor also got damaged.
The car was previously booked under Booking ID: JPSNCZS8L the car was returned on 25th Jan 2023 Mid day. The previous lessee has given 5 star rating from the Guest without any complaints for car in good condition. The car was sent to a water wash and general inspection. Also, the last service was done very recently at the end of October 2022 and the car hasn't even run 3000km after complete service. Usually Car is serviced every 10000km.
I have received the Invoice from the service center. I am attaching it for your reference. As I have mentioned and attached the damaged part images previously. The spares for Condenser and Compressor assembly cost alone comes to Rs.24118.99 and the labor comes to Rs.2966.52. Totaling Rs.27085.51. I waited for the Zoomcar to respond back for 14 days but no one did. I bought an warranty pack from Hyundai and received a discount of Rs.10000 on service.
Please review the complaint and reimburse me for the damages caused by the Guest Booking ID: JPSNCQJLH. Because of this my car has been in the service center from 31st Jan 2023 till 12 feb 2023. and the guest has given 1 star rating after causing a huge damage and trying to shift the blame. No one in Zoom is responding back even after multiple tickets. ticket # 1660474.
They have flawed system if damages cant be seen in exterior it is not their responsibility. what if someone rents a car and steals and replaces the part with a broken part and returns. no complaint numbers to reach out. in my case the customer had the car for hours before complaining. they removed the booking ID from mine and that particular one didnt come up even in cancellation.
