I made a booking with Zoomcar For a 1 day trip on 30th Sept 23, at the time of booking I made the full payment of rupees 3913 and submitted my documents (driving license and Aadhaar card) as asked by Zoom. However on the day of booking when I reached near the vehicle I could not start the vehicle since Zoomcar did not verify my profile. I tried contacting multiple times over phone call and chat and I was kept on waiting for an hour on call and no resolution was made. Host also tried calling Zoomcar but they were also not given any resolution.
For the whole day I kept trying to contact the customer care but could never reach a real agent to talk to. Then the worst thing happened Zoomcar app started crashing and I was logged out and now I can not even check my booking in the app. Also, Zoomcar customer care number started rejecting my call with an automated response that "I have exceeded the time limit of talking to their agents" when I did not even get to talk to their agent once.
Now my trip day has passed and my trip is over. I still could not unlock my vehicle and my money has wasted and I am still not able to talk to Zoomcar customer care to get any resolution.
And after all this I am facing another harassment from the Zoom Host. The Zoom host is behind me that their booking time has passed and that I have not unlocked his vehicle and because of it he is not getting the payment for his booking. Now the host is asking me the amount again while I have already paid the zoom car.
Zoomcar is providing pathetic service and they are making sure their customer never try them again. I am raising this complain with utmost frustration and helplessness.
I want a full refund of my booking and some corrective actions taken from Zoomcar to ensure this does not happen again with other users. If I get no resolution here, then I will file a Police complaint against the Fraud and harassment that has happened with me.
