[Resolved] Airtel Digital TV — 3 complaints - False promises and greedy staff | |||
1.. Nov 4, 2014: I think I have the worst experience with any service provider like this after reliance communications. Your company sucks and complete staff. You have greedy and highly clever staff. When I applied for Airtel TV, Ms Soumya - the online chat executive wrongly promised me that my airtel tv will be installed in 4-6 hours though i repetitively asked her about same. She was just after transaction Id to en-cash incentives. Later, I came to know, it takes 24-48 hours. She ran away with transaction Id and I am arguing and fighting on phone with customer care executives and local dealers for almost hours on the chargeable customer care number, and all are shameless fellows with repeated false promises and my installation is still pending. I have been waiting and taking early off from office to get Airtel DTH installed. I already have Tata Sky at hometown (pretty happy with that), but just wanted to experience Airtel services and yes I can very confidently say, worst Company to buy products, and I also agree to the fact that I made a big mistake by doing advance payment online. I feel I am begging for the services just because I already made payment rather availing paid services. 2. Dec 14, 2014: I am again facing this stupid thing now. I cannot bear this crap anymore. As per my online chat with Ms Soumya (customer executive with Airtel), before buying Airtel Digital TV, I was told by her that I can take subscription of non-HD channels on a HD set top box and hence she asked me to buy HD set top box and I can buy Rs 370 Mega Pack later. Today (Dec 14, 2014), while interacting with another customer executive Mr. Hitesh, I was told that my Mega Pack is now costing Rs 420 and I compulsorily have to take 2 HD channels because my set top box is HD. Its not even 1 month since I have bought Airtel Digital TV, and so many "wordings" have been changed by this company and its executives. I am seriously very irritated, frustrated and annoyed with the crap I am hearing from your company second time. Its my second complaint within 2 months of buying DTH connection from your fraud company. Added to that, the call centre numbers are chargeable, hence I have wasted almost Rs 100 on calling the call centre. I never ever came across such situation with Tata Sky at my parents place, but i definitely feel I made a mistake my choosing Airtel for first time. 3. Dec 20, 2014: Mr. Ammar Ibn Khurshid - customer executive from Airtel assures me telephonically that I will have to pay only Rs 390 and and the 2 HD channels will not be added to my Mega Pack, but still my Mega Pack is activated with Rs 420. Complete company. All my relatives and friends know about this Airtel company and advised me to withdraw their services permanently. Was this information helpful? | |||
