[Resolved]  Aircel / prepaid GPRS — very poor speed of GPRS

hi iam using aircel 98/- PI, iam getting just only 5-6 kbps, how to improve the speed to min 30-40 kbps, please tell me any body...

es, even I have taken Aircel GPRS 98/- plan. The speed is pathetic. I have used Airtel before and I also have Vodafone. I feel they are far more better than Aircel. The customer care when called up.. I had to wait for 30 mins to reach him after which he started blaming the website from where I am dowloading. Inspite of telling him that I have been using this download site through other ISP and the download is far better, it seems that the customer care did not have better explanation for it and went on saying the same thing. Finally he was convinced and said that he cant help me. I asked him to take a feedback on the service that is being provided for which he gave me a complaint no.[protected]. But it seems there has been no chane done.

Myself Manish Gupta from Delhi. My no. is [protected] I've been using it for last 5 months. At the time of subscription customer care executive told me that the speed of net would be approx 30to40 kbps. But it is just 1to 2 kbps. Obviously we all are facing a big of problm right now. Now we can say that Aircel is cheating all customers. aircel should improve its network ortherwise it should ready to face legal action.

or 899 unlimited plan vodafone super speed
for delhi only enjoy

I face two problem there is connection loss in every 20 to 30 minutes and second one is i cant play youtube video which i could play on airtel. Does aircel solve this problem as early as possible.

aircel is fooling students &youngsters.they r attracting them with bull- service called gprs @ 14, 98 with a speed slower than snail.best way to teach them a lesson is - burning their sim & advising friends & relatives to desist from this fradulent company.

dear friends, just i come to know unlimited packages, good download speeds are all [censored]s.actualy all networks put a cap on download speed etc, after you reach certain limit. i[censored] dont believe just try. so never go for monthly, yearly plans, all, be it airtel, aircel, tata, idea, never give what they promise.ALL THESE ARE BAST*****.

I get Normal Speed of 18kbps At morning and 30kbps at night in Hyderabad

aircelgprs rs.98 is not un-limited.they provide this plan under FAIR USE POLICY.this means after u reach certain limit, say 2GB/MONTH, they put cap on ur connection.thus ur speed drastically reduce and becomes 1kb-2kb.so actually they r cheating us by using the word UNLIMITED.never opt for MONTHLY & YEARLY PLANS.

Aircel sim very poor speed and its again again disconnect autumatically its speed only 460kbps.

The aircel speed sucks but then the price they are charging according to the speed is pity decent. Its so cheap and so is their speed

Aircel — Gprs service too poor

I m using a aircel no [protected] from last two months, and i never got the proper service on gprs, even i complain many times, post a mail, they assure that problem will be solved but no use they even call me many times but no use. I want to say them that dont worry soone or later all ur user will switch to others as soon as nomber portability will come into effect.

I think you will not have to make use of the number portability my friend, why don’t you visit the nearest Aircel store they will solve the issue in no time. You shouldn’t have waited for two months facing this problem.

AIRCEL GPRS speeds very better

I am bangalore...I brought a aircel prepaid SIM because of 98/month gprs package. After using this SIM for internet connection found that speed is not more than 1-2 kbps. This is hopeless service from aircel.
I cut the SIM into pieces and thrown away...///...SRK

My name Adarsha. from gulbarga. I have use aircel internet it's speed customer care told me that our GPRS speed is 40-50 kbps but the here actual speed of Aircel GPRS is about 2-5 kbps. I have complaint 3 time to customer care of aircel but their is no sufficient response. please tell me any body...speed GPRS working trick. Thanking you.

Aircel — Very low speed

I purchased an aircel connection ([protected]) for internet,when I contacted custommer care for activation of internet I was told about the speed of 140 kbps and when I connected and checked the speed.It was merely 5 to 10 kbps.I am using this no. in Delhi. The compny should go into this.

Friend I have been using the Aircel GPRS for a while and it gives a very good speed, 40-60 kbps. Why don’t you try to reset your GPRS settings I am sure the speed will improve

later i think aircel gprs is good but i take aircel zim 2 days ago to browse net but it speed was very poor
