[Resolved]  Hindustan Unilever - PureIT Water Purifier — Wrost Customer Service Level

We have logged complaint with Hindustan Unilver three months back to get the battery replacement for their Pureit water purifier product. There is no response as of now. We have been calling their tollfree number, customer care number & even their Anna Nagar East Division Branch near K4 police station but in vain. We have been following with their Anna Nagar Manager Mr.Prabhu - Contact Number [protected] for the past one week. He is also not taking any initiative. When we try to reach him someone picking up the mobile & saying he is busy in meetings & asking us to call later. This is happening for the past one week. HENCE PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

i placed a request for new battery on 2nd may 2009. no luck.. thought this time the service would be different.. guess some things doesnot change after all. this is my 2nd call fro battary refil since i purchased and no better service this time too.

i see so many complaints in this page.. was any action taken at all??
Your service is so horrible. Pathetic. Every time we have to call so many times then follow up and fight for them to come. I just want to through away your product and buy a new water purifier. Keep away from this product.

Our pure it water filter is bought before 8 months. It is working satisfactory upto last month. But a month ago the tap is broken and we indimate to your salem branch the same day it self.But there is no response till date your service after sales is very poor. Please send and take necessary steps
I Have called the toll free no. for battery replacement and there is no response for 40 days. Though they assure the replacement will be done in 3 days, they hadnt. It is one of the worst service only after Dish Tv customer care.
what is the level of service this company offering in delhi and ncr areas?

there is no one in india who take any pain for customer in hindustan unilever water purifier i had lodged my complaint about the on line bill for replacement of battery and container on 11.05.2009 and called so many persons but all in vain. what they are saying that each and every time i have to take my machine to the safe water zone and for each and every query i have to visit the safe water zone shop. It is very ture that no one in interested in giving service to the customer but they only want to sale their product where as aquagard and ro persons are giving excellent services to the customer it is all foolish to buy the product and hope for some short of help or service from these guys.

Hundred percent agree. We have made 5 calls for battery replacements, and the answer that we get is that the executive is not there.

They just do not care. My unit is idle wihout the battery for the last 5days.

anyone can tell the company factory address?
The private companies like Hindustan Unilever who sell PureIT water purifier have very poor Customer Service Level. The company's salesmen approached me with tall claims about their water purifier. I had the bad experience of many other such services and therefore I tried to get into the internet to find what people have to say about the service.

after getting so much feedback from those who are using it, I have decided not to go for their water purifier. I do not know whether or not the consumer complaint forum where these complaints are being made serves any purpose.
I purchase the pure it on 16/02/09, my customer no [protected]. My bill no ISON/KOL[protected]
my devise r no MSB[protected].
I complain on 22/05/09 for not purified 1500 litre water. it was just[protected] litre water purified, but the are ignore my compalain and suggest for purchasing a battery kit, I agree their proposal and booking a battery kit for rs 365/- on 25.05.2009 at 9.30 am .
but on 30.05.2009 afternoon the battery kit not yet be changed. I complain 3 times for replace it quickly because i am the jaundice patient. they are assure us for replace but not do so.

I hope the service should be promptly in future.

Thanks for one and all for your detailed opinion regarding pureit. Now I am dropping my proposal to purchase pureit water purifier. I will go for other alternative product.
I purchased Pureit recently and within two months its battery is finished. It hardly filtered 800 ltrs water. When I contacted the sales representative he says u lodge ur complaint on helpline no. but no one is attending the phone.When I requested the sales representative to supply new batter he says it not available. When I asked for its cost he says Rs 365/ but U will have to pay Rs 400/ .
I can't understand the policy of the Company. Someone has rightly mentioned that it is a use and throw product. If anybody from Hindustan Unilever Ltd reading this Pls note that this kind of attitude is fatal for ur organization. U can't just cheat the customer and go away.

I am a customer of your company, my customer_ID is [protected].I have ordered for change of battery kit and replacement water filter member on 11/05/2009 but till date no reponse has been received.The procurement of above items had done through your help line but has yielded no result.This does not reflect the goodwill of your company instead it reflects a sorry state of affairs in respect of after sales service.More it may be noted that my house has two small child of 7yrs and 3yrs of age, so you can understand the gravity of the situation.If immediate steps is not taken in this regard the same will be

They delivered it in the Satarday evening and won't be checked as there is no drinking water left in the office, next day is sunday ( weekly off), on monday we baought miniral water bottles to drink as there is very short supply of drinking water in the area. Today on[protected] when we poured water into it, we got leakage in it and try out the phone no.'s given by the executive of pureit who came to deliver the purifier and assured us to send an another invoice with correct address on[protected] and will come immediately if there will be any problem in the purifier, but he won't pick the phone as I am trying personnally from last four hours and one another no. too is not working.
And what to say about the call centre they people just assure and make customer on hold for long, they too won't try to satisfy or lock the complaints, every time they give separate complaint no.

Kindly replace the purifier as it is not used even for a glass of water and provide a new peice in place of that.

HUL/ Pure It — Shameless pure it people

Dear Concern,

I can just give some abusing word. or I can just slap somebody from this product line. I am very upset user of Pure it user supplied by HUL. These B*** shamelesss guys are well in selling their products. But when it comes to servicing/ battery replacement, they are below average, worst than gutter guys.
I have bought this product some months back depending upon the world wide brand o[censored]nilever. My regn no is [protected] on name of Rupesh Khot staying in Navi Mumbai.

Everytime, we need to beg to these guys, make calls several times and request for battery replacement. Everytime these bl*d*y guys gives false committtmnet for battery replcement.
amazingly they delete our call data just to proove that ther are giving services in 3 days!.

When we write complaint, they do not have courtesy to reply to complaint. I am just venting my anger, as I cannot do anything else than this

I am sending same word complaint to Unilever head quarters.

i made the complaint "water stinks" and got alergy because of this water, every alternate day i call this call centre answer i get frrom this with in 2 working days executive will solve the problem and stil now no one turned up after drinking this water i got alergy, and infection, spending money to hospital
Thanks for the feedback and comments. I was planning to buy it after seeing its advertisement in newspaper but on knowing so much about the product and after sales service now I think that now I drink water from a normal water filter and after buying PureIT also I have to use my old water filter so why should I pay for the product which don’t work and has so many issues in usage and after sales services.
