sir,
I am using airtel connection from last 4 years,being a regular customer of airtel i was very impressed with your network.
one of your airtel representative from ajmer comes to me with a RAILWAY CUG plan...There were two plan one of 99 Rs n other is for 149 Rs...He explained the whole plan(of Rs 99)as:-
1. the rental is of 99 Rs.
2.They will provide complete talk value of 99 Rs.
3.If the bill comes out above 99 Rs then you have to pay only that charges(including rental of 99 Rs).
4.Net pack is of 50 Rs monthly(which includes unlimited downloading and surfing free).
5.Net pack activates automatically as soon as your Sim starts.No need of activation.
being a very cheap plan we repeatedly asked him to confirm the plan.But he assure us that the plan was correct since its a facility provided by railway.
So i decided to switch to airtel postpaid plan.
My Sim starts on 26 December and since then to 6th of January my bill comes out with 600.02 Rs.during this period i have asked him several times about the bill n ask whether the net pack is activated or not.He was assured of the plan n suggest me to ignore and said we will see when the bill comes...
when we went to customer service center(ajmer) to deposit the money they asked to pay 600.02 Rs.For this we explained all the detail that was provided by your representative. they called that representative and a short talk occur between them and at last they asked us to deposit only 100 Rs n assured us to give the concession of 500Rs...
now when after 1 month again a bill of 319 comes,we again went to airtel customer service center they explained that u were charged the bill as:-
1. 99 for rental.
2. 99 for Internet(the net was of 50 rs per month as per the representative)
3.100 for late submission fee(why late submission if they assured for the concession????).
4. and rest for the calls.
Then we asked to stop our Sim.but they force to pay the bill first.

Since last one and half month it was a complete mental torture given to me by airtel. I was very patience, cool and calm but after almost one and half month I am very frustrated and want to do a court filing in CIVIL for a compensation. I am ready to spend unlimited money for this endless fight with airtel but I can't leave them like this. I am shocked that airtel feel that they are serving free of cost and don't be greedy even if airtel will offer a cug plan.
so please give us a best solution for the compensation...
And a necessary action should be taken against all these types of representatives of yours.

AirTel — Harassment from airtel.

I HAVE STOPPED USING MY AIRTEL PHONE FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS. MY PHONE NO IS [protected]. I HAVE STOPPED RECEIVING BILLS FROM AIRTEL. HOWEVER LATELY FOR THE LAST 1 MONTH I HAVE BEEN CONSTANTLY RECEIVING CALLS ABOUT SOME OUTSTANDING BALANCE FROM MY END. THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO SUPPORT THE SAME WITH A BILL.

Bharti Airtel — Harassment

I opened a broadband connection with Airtel fixed landline number [protected].After they fixed up the connection at my home , they took the cheque from me and it was cleared after few days , but since that day the internet connection has not been activated nor has been the landline .When i call up the Customer Service they give me lame excuses , sometimesthere softwares are not working and sometimes they say that they have activated the services and will begin in few minutes which is never true.Now a days when i call the customer service they give me a new number to call which is [protected]and [protected] , they amazing thing about these numbers is that if you call these numbers it rings but no one picks up the call.
Every day i get the confirmation that my services would be activated but that is a Myth now.I have loads of work to do but my internet does not work and if to go to Cyber cafe , which is 5 kms away from my place.
Bharti Airtel has not activated the services and seems that they have forgotten me but they have not forgotton to give me call through out the day and talk about promotional offers and refrences.
I am being harrsaed to the extreme point and i am thinking of moving to File A FIR , File a RTI regarding the procedues and definately i am going to Consumer Court for Sure.
If any one from Bharti Airtel is reading this , please be aware that my next move is Court and Consumer Court.

Airtel — Harassment and unusual deduction of balance

from last few months, my regular balance decution takes place, i filed more than 10 complaints in airtel customer care, but they take no action. they deactivate one service and next day other service gets activate it self. when i call customer care again they say thay cant do anything.

Airtel Prepaid — Series of harrasments that I faced for taking your prepaid connection.

Hello,

My name is Ananda Das Sarkar. My prepaid Mobile number is [protected]. I am now a member of your esteemed Mobile services, as I have taken a Prepaid connection on 5th March 2011. However, today being 21st of March , 16 days after the connection, my connection is still barred because of the untouched and unparallel customer services rendered by you.

Here are the series of incidents that happened with my connection.

- I purchased a new cell on 5th from Nokia Priority (Behala, 149, D.H. Road, Kolkata -34, Ph – [protected], Mobile -[protected]). There was an Airtel agent (Mobile No – [protected]), who offered me this prepaid connection. I submitted all the documents along with the photographs. The connection got activated that night itself.
- On 9th March, Airtel agent (Mobile No – [protected]), the called me up asking for signature in the photograph. He never bothered to inform me that I need to sign in the photograph produced on 5th. However I told him, that I will submit the a same on 12th of March. He accepted.
- On 10th the account got barred due to non submission of documents. I called up the Airtel agent (Mobile No – [protected]). He unblocked the same after some hours.
- On 12th I submitted the photograph along with the signature.
- On 13th the account again got blocked. I tried calling up the agent, his phone was switched off. The Nokia priority was closed.
- On 14th I called up the Nokia priority. They got that unblocked again on the latter half of the same day. ***** please note it was blocked from 13th Morning to 14th evening.
- On 16th the Nokia priority called me up asking again for another set of documentation since the Airtel agent (Mobile No – [protected])has gone absconding and they want to send the document fresh. I again submitted my documents on the same day.
- On 17th my connection was again barred. The Airtel agent’s phone was switched off and the Nokia priority started giving me false promises. I called them as many as 5 different times. I called up the Airtel customer care, they told me that they can’t do anything and I need to submit the documents again to the Airtel shop.
- On 18th , no resolution still, the Nokia priority told me since the courier guy is not coming, they were unable to send out the documents. They told me to call somebody from Airtel (Atanu Chowdhury – [protected]). I called him up and throughout the day. Every time he has given false promises and never called me back. It was me who called him again and again. MY CONNECTION WAS STILL BARRED.
- On 19th - MY CONNECTION WAS STILL BARRED – NO support from the Airtel agent, the Nokia priority, Atanu Chowdhury – [protected]
- On 20th - MY CONNECTION WAS STILL BARRED – NO support from the Airtel agent, the Nokia priority, Atanu Chowdhury – [protected]
- On 21st - MY CONNECTION WAS STILL BARRED – NO support from the Airtel agent, the Nokia priority, Atanu Chowdhury – [protected]. I visited your Shop at the Saltlake City Centre and talked to Kunal Ghosh – Ph No [protected], I talked about the problems that I am facing. I again submitted all the documents along with the photographs signed in it for the third time. It was promised that the account will be activated within an hour, however…. Its more than 2 hours and its still not done.

Few observations:

- As per Kunal, they have not received any document. So my question is where are my documents? What kind of fraud you guys are doing by taking my PAN. Driving License information.
- Since the courier is not there, the NOKIA priority has not send the documents in time and let the customer suffer ………... is that is what you mean by a customer service cycle?
- The nokia priority has told Kunal that they had send the doc on 18th while my account was barred from 17th. Its good to know that, you and your partners are so reluctant about customers. You guys are so good with off shouldering responsibilities.
- You have an agent who can go absconding. It proves the trust we should have on you while giving our personal information.
- The best part, Atanu Chowdhury – [protected], your own guy….. who promises and promises… …. a person who shows that who is taking responsibilities ……but the end result is …….after 18th , not even bothered to call me up. You should have more persons like these in your so called 3G age for the fast service.

Anyways …the end result still now is ……………………………..MY CONNECTION WAS STILL BARRED

I would expect people at the senior management will take my mail as a proper customer feedback and look into my issue with immediate effect. I will wait till the end of day today to see a resolution. If not, I will launch an official complain at the Consumer Forum.

GIVEN A CHOICE I WILL NOT TAKE …… AIRTEL …………..

Airtel — Harassment by Representatives

This is to inform that even after 3 months, the complaint regarding the billing for the airtel number: [protected] has not been resolved.
I had taken this connection in the last week of December 2010 with "Super Saver249 Plan" and "GPRS 2GB [protected]@30p/50kb Rental 98/-" plan. While taking the GPRS plan I was not informed by anyone from Airtel that the plan was on pro-rate basis.Even in Airtel's customer care mail dated 15th January, 2011 I am being told that 2GB is free for this plan.
Airtel India website does not indicate that this plan is on pro-rate basis.
Therefore I should be charged for data usage only beyond 2GB.

After numerous calls to Airtel customer care center and highlighting the same, I am being told that I have been given a discount for 2GB.
The bill clearly states that the volume for the period is 2107229. This when converted to MB comes out to be 2057.84 MB (1GB=1024MB,1MB=1024KB). Now I am bewildered, as to how can I be charged more than Rs. 6000/- for using data of 10 MB more than the 2GB/month free of data, when the charges are Rs. 0.30/50KB.

Despite making repeated efforts to resolve the same, I am being harassed and threatened by Airtel's representatives for making the payment for the past 3 months.

And Airtel-Hyderabad has stooped to low levels and arm twisting and has threatened me with legal action and dire consequences if I don't pay the full bill amount.

AirTel — Harassment from Airtel

This is to complain about poor service of airtel I am having a broadband connection of airtel for over 15 months now However my broadband stopped working on 20 oct 2011 I made a complaint on 21 oct 2011 but even till date which is approx 75 days or so no one has bothered to call or visit to fix the issue I have made repeated calls to the customer service to get this issue resolved everytime i call i was told that it will take couple of more days because of some technical issues I made another request in december to disconnect the line and the moment I did that I started receiving calls everyday till today to clear my outstanding payment and that too till 9th nov This is highly unacceptable why do i make payment beyond 20th oct when it stopped working the customer service people do not understand the basic thing and have been arguing with me numerous times most of the times they have been unprofessional and rude in their behaviour and has been harassing me for over a month now I do not want to continue my services with airtel anymore because of pathetic services but ready to clear the dues but only till the time i have used it send me the details. I have had to incur losses due to this as I work from home most of the time and instead of claiming my losses from airtel, i am only requesting them to either fix the issue or send bill till the day it was working.

This is my second complaint regd Airtel.I had an Airtel prepaid connection - [protected].One day, I got a sms - if I don't submit my necessary documents, they will terminate my connection.Then I directly enquired about this to the nearest Airtel customer care.They said nothing to worry, please ignore that kind of sms.But that night itself they terminated my connection along with Rs.484 balance amount. Next day itself, I went to the same customer care and complainted.They said they didn't know how this happened and it was not possible to get that connection or refund my lost money.In emergency, I take a new Airtel prepaid connection - [protected].Now another problem arises.Regularly receiving a sms - Thanks for downloading Fashion Show from Airtel. You have been charged Rs.5. They deducted Rs.5 many times without download.Is it possible to refund my earlier Rs.484 and present Rs.25 to my present number.Also I want to stop these unknowing money deduction.Now I'm totally fed up with Airtel.Need a solution.
