[Resolved] Airtel Broadband — Poor Customer Service and Arrogance | |||
Hi, Airtel broadband service is so pathetic and their customer service guys are so dumb and arrogant...this cost cutting of hiring cheap manpower/outsourcing...is resulting in making customers lives miserable...especially after paying for advance rental plans... I have a Airtel broadband with LL no :[protected] It got disconnected sometime back...when I called up their customer care...they give me a reason as non payment of bills... The bills were sent to one mail id which did not belong to me...??? If I do not get the bill how can I pay for it...especially when I know that I have taken an advance rental plan...? Knowing that it is their problem and when I wanted to speak to a floor manager, feeling that he might be a bit more customer savvy...they disconnect the call...i.e after getting through and explaining my problem for about 7 mins...I call again...I have to repeat the whole process...when asked to transfer to a floor manager...they refuse...saying no option...send a mail...when my internet is not working...if you want to complain...you can send a mail to "appellate" id...that is the highest id...or some crap they say...wondering why they did not give their CEO id...? This has happened not once but twice... If Airtel is reads this and if my problem is not resolved asap...I will complain to TRAI...wondering if this would help...I would jsut end up wasting my time...much rather sift to ACT or pick up TATA Photon... Airtel Broadband — Poor Customer Care service
Hi AllI am a resident of Delhi but working in Bangalore, I am using Airtel broadband in bangalore. I had planned short-term visit to Delhi for 1 week, so I needed a broadband connection to do my office work from Delhi. I requested Airtel customer care executives in advance 5 days before my travel and requested for a new connection, so that I can start working on the very first day after reaching Delhi. To my surprise, despite of placing three request to Airtel for new connection I did not get any reponse. Its only when I followed-up with my request-id they called me back and promised to provide the connection in 48 hrs. But leave 48 hrs I spent full week without internect connectivity, in the mean time they kept on saying that they will providing the connection very soon. Finally when I was leaving to Bangalore..i again asked the reason for such a poor response, Airtel executive told me that they cannot provide connection in that area. For providing new connection they need to extend some of there lines which is not possible now. This is really a pathetic service, early information in this regard could have helped me to choose some other ISP. They simple ate up full of my vacation, i had to suffer a lot because of this. I don't understant what Airtel is doing ..when tata-indicom, reliance and Sify can provide connection to my home why not Airtel ..

I am prepaid customer of airtel withgprs connection thru i could call from blore to uk and requested at their MG Road Bangalore centre to give support from uk also. .on21ist may 09 I reached uk but I could not make any call or the total connection is discontinued and the reason cannot be make out . air tel is suppose to do the connection to those who are going out of bangalore .It shows very poor responsibility from their side.

Sir,I Bunty Chandrakar users of your product services which is airtel broadband internet connection[protected] in this i m facing the poor services related with speed sp i need to change the plan of your services i require the unlimited high speed broad band connection IMPAPIENCE 1699.

Airtel Broadband — very poor customer service
My name is joginder pal and i have been using air tel broadband since last 2 months.Myself really unhappy with airtel broadband connection it is really giving so much headache to me. No proper person is responsible. when ever i call they said all lines to this route are busy. i have tried this thousands of times. when i call the sales executive personally he answers that your problem will be solved but the remains like that. I thought it a waste to talk to them. I need a concerned person to the matter and solve the problem.
Extremely dissatisfied with air tel broadband customer service.
They really need to employ more employees.

Dear Viewer,i want to share my problem with you all that i am old customer of airtel Broadband and satisfied also but regarding its service my experience is very horrible. i was sent a mail or called to 121 for my disconnection of broadband no.[protected] on date 4 aug 2011 but till date my no. was not disconnected. every time someone called me and asked for rental waiver but that was also not posted in system properly. after 3 month passed my no. still in working condition and even no one bother about that. i was sent mail to every concern person but still no response from them, so i request you to all of who is thinking about new broadband connection airtel pls dont do that otherwise you will lost your money, time every thing, Air-tel Broadband service is very very poor dont chose this...

Airtel Broadband — BROADBAND POOR SERVICE
We have taken plan for speed of 1 mbps till 5 gb and thereon 256 kbps and it is showing 1 mbps while speed test but during the upload and surfing breaks are coming. there engineer has come to solve the problem but it is not solved. Namaste Kiran,

AirTel — poor customer service by airtel broadband
This is in regard of problem in the broadband service that Airtel is providing us. As of now, we can hardly access the net. The help to rectify the problem is provided only over the phone and despite repeated complaints, it has neither been rectified nor have we got a personal visit from anyone to help till now.
