I am a post paid customer and have been using Airtel Post paid connection for last one year. I have been facing a lot of problems ever since i got my post paid connection (09932087961) started. I have given lot of complaints as well. ( call interruption, call tapping, poor billing system and the like) . I paid my airtel bill always in a prompt fashion despite these problems every time. Of late, I felt that, the problems with Airtel post paid is not getting sorted out permanently so that it is better to switch over to pre paid connection. I approached Customer Care executives for necessary directions and they in turn told me that there is no problem for converting a post paid number to prepaidlife time connection without changing the existing number. They rightly explained to me the procedures that I got to follow for the same.
But, contrary to my expectations, when I approached the local Airtel outlet here in Portblair, they told me that in Andman Nicobar Islands it is not possible to have the above mentioned conversion. I was surprised to here this.Is it my mistake to work in Andaman? What is so wrong with Andaman ? Why are your company's policies often becoming detrimental to customers? If I say that I have got a policy that " Since my post paid is not getting converted into prepaid i wouldnt pay the due amount".. would you accept that ? A comapny's policy should always be favouring the customers ? is it not? Every other mobile companies in and around Andman is giving this facility and why can't Airtel give the same ? I have given this number to all my relatives, friends and colleagues and you people wanted me to give another number to them once againand spending anothe lot of bucks all over again ?
You post paid connection and confusing executives and professionas have harrased me enough and subsequently my social image has been tarnished. You company and its whims and fancies have destroyed my mental peace and solace
