[Resolved]  Airtel Digital — Poor customer care service

My name is Arun I booked Airtel Digital Tv as on 06.04.2013 Customer ID - [protected], Transaction ID - 870349 for a rupees of 1999. After I booked I got the information which I furnished above none other response are there from the Airtel people till date they didn't provide the product and not even get a phone call till date. I called to the customer care which they mentioned in their website I can assure this is the worst customer care I ever called I called more than 7 times to 7 different people who are all repeating the same answers which is utterly useless. After a long wait some people will pick the call and they will ask my customer ID, transaction ID and phone no..... etc., then they will say we will connect to the technical persons please be on the line more than 3 min the phone will be in hold then it will automatically went to the main menu welcome to the Airtel customer care press 1,2,3 etc.,

This 7 times when I call to the customer care I never spoke to a single technical person which means there is no technical persons in the customer service. They are running a customer care with people just to say we will transfer to the technical persons, even though their website doesn't have any options to register or inquire this kind of inquiry the website is totally designed for getting money with a convenient way from the people if they got money they left the customer unnoticed. 5 days completed still there is no response about my Digital Tv after I spoke several times to customer care for past 2 days still nothing happened.

I decided to quit all my Airtel services and I want to punish this kind of irresponsible sector who thinks public can't do anything against their careless activities, they cut the service very next minute if we didn't recharge then why should a customer wait for 5 days? Which means they have a standard but when it for customer they say sorry for the inconvenience this should not go further. This kind of customer cares should be checked by the Government whether they have adequate technical persons are there or not and need to take severe actions against them to not do it again and again.

If they can't achieve what they promised why should they have to be here. The government should banned this kind of fake report providers from the service. They promised me the product will be delivered with in 24 hours. 5 days fully completed not even get single phone call from Airtel.

Please take a severe action against this kind of providers for further improvement of the country

Airtel — poor care towards coustmer

I have an Airtel prepaid no.[protected] (SIM no.[protected]) was taken in Chennai on 9th November 2007 and the same was activated on same day, which worked up to 22nd December 2007 till 11 O’clock. After that there is no tower in my mobile. Then I approached customer relation centre (Laser Valley Telecom) at T.Nagar in Chennai on 22nd November 2007 around 6PM, where I have submitted my documents initially and explained the issue to Mr. Ram (mobile no.[protected]), Mr.Pandian/Miss. Kamakshi (Mobile no.[protected]). They have verified their dispatch list and found that they have submitted my documents to Main office at Chennai on 23rd November 2007.
After that on 26th December 2007, I have approached Mr.Nithin (mobile no.[protected]) at Head office at Santhome in Chennai and explained the issue. He took two days time and told me to refer their colleague Mr.Ganesh (mobile no.[protected]). I referred Mr.Ganesh over phone, he took days and finally he told me refer one more his colleague Mr.Karthic (mobile no.[protected]). Mr.Karthic has took three days and told me refer customer relation centre at T.nagar where I have submitted my documents.
Again I came back on 2nd January 2008 to customer relation centre (Laser Valley Telecom) at T.Nagar and discussed the issue with Miss.kamakshi. She ask me to give one day time. Then again I went customer relation centre (Laser Valley Telecom) at T.Nagar on 3rd January 2008 and discussed the issue with Miss.kamakshi.
Nobody is even trying to me helping me out or responding positively…. Every time I am even a period of time committed…
Finally I kept my SIM card in front of Miss.Kamakshi and came out side.
Poor customer care services :- The reply by customer executives are generally misguiding and the customers have to bear

Airtel Customer Care service — Highly poor service of Airtel Customer Care

I am from New Delhi. I have an airtel prepaid connection.I noticed that without my subscribing to Java Games I received that SMS on my mobile that Rs.99/- have been deducted. When I spoke to the staff of Airtel on 121 I was told that they cannot do anything and were very harsh.
If you want, I can name the persons to whom I had spoken.
This is not the only case. Without subscribing to Hello tunes, Airtel has been deducting charges @ Rs. 30/-per month for the last two months. When spoken at the customer case service, I was told that same answer that we cannot do anything.
Now, When ever I called to that no: that they have given, they dont pick up the phone and other no: is not availabl.
If this kind of service is being provided than in near future all customers will shift to other service providers.
not just poor...VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER CARE SERVICES BY AIRTEL !!!

Airtel Digital — non availability of recharge cards

For the last 4 days I have been going round to various Airtel outlets in Noida to get a recharge card for the Digital TV service. I am told recharge cards are out of stock. I am trying to recharge a sum of Rs 48 only. Result is that all channels have been blocked. What does one do ? Terrible service .
yeah but my problem in worst i am in coimbatore singanallur i dont know where to get the recharge coupons
they say to get there here but no body even sells it

Airtel Digital — unable to view top up

i recharged my account with rs100 and requested for top up espn plus for three months on 25th may 2009.but till now i m unable to view top up i had requested so may time to airtel but no ruselt.complain refrence no is746455.i am missing t20 world cup.
now what should i do.
there is no responce from call center.

I rechanged my a/c ([protected]) for RS 200/- through my credit card. Money is already claimed by bharati from ICICI big bazaar visa card (Bank Transaction id is - 673570, information received from icici bank) but still my digital TV a/c showing negative balance. I raised a complaint (838654) but instead of action I have been asked to submit scanned copy of credit card bill.

I am sorry but i could not understand the logic when I have transaction id why scanned copy is required. I can submit scanned copy but I will get it by end of the month i.e. July 2009 whereas you can easily find out through transaction id (673570) whether or not money has been credited in your a/c or not.

I am user of airtel services for last 10 years (M - [protected] Dehli no.) but instead of getting good services it is getting bad.

Now, after installation and I am viewing the airtel digitaltv for a week, I have registered myself for airtel digital website for easy recharge options and to view the account statement.
I can see now it the 3 month offer is not given to me, it is 50 days only,

I have called customer care and they said, the offer is like that only. and they denied me the 3 months free subscription.

Please help me here and give me 90 days free subscription of economy pack.

suggest dont buy a Airtel digital TV. They are the worst and preety professional in fooling customers,they just call once or twice and visited once after that its stalemate/status quo. My registed no. [protected] . Mr. Bharti needs to seriously look into his organisation and their activities.

Airtel Digital — Stb box problem

My name is Pushkar Joshi and I am a Airtel Digital user (Customer ID :
[protected]). I am facing issue in STB box since last 17th February.

I am here writing the summary of support which I got from Airtel department.

1) After raising complain on 18th feb. One technical guys came
next day (Tushar : [protected]) and took the setup box and made a
promise that he will solve the issue and give back to next day. After
doing number of follow up calls with that guy he returned the box
after 5 days without solving issue and said Next technical person
will come and pickup the box and will solve.
2) After waiting 1 -2 days, I again called to customer care and
got the feedback from them that my issue has been resolved, I was
very much surprised how they closed the complain without getting
feedback to me. Then customer care open new complain number and give
assurance to me this time issue will resolve.
3) At 28th feb one technical guy came again (Vishnu :
[protected]) and took the box again, next day he came and setup the
things and any how he did something and we were able to see TV that
time, he took 100 Rs as fees and said if you face issue again then
call me, Same day when we start TV again at next time again we faced
same issue(Stb box issue)
4) Since the day 1st March I am calling to call center. They
generate one complain number immediate I got SMS regarding this and
after some time I got another SMS that your problem has been
resolved. This is going on in cyclic manner and I am very much
disappoint now. Even then yesterday I had world With Mr Manish(1st
escalation) but final result is that Still not working box is with me
no one is coming to resolve this and I am getting SMS from Airtel
that problem has been resolved. One number is also given in SMS
[protected] but it is a useless number.

Is it some kind of Joke going on? For how long I will be made fool by repeatedly sending such messages whearas in reality problem remains unresolved and my services are not resumed.

I need to lodge the same complaint or shall I simply forget my money and opt for some another DTH service provider. I am really getting fed up and mentally harassed by the mockery that is being made out of this "Customer Care Process".

For your reference I am listing the Complain number which I have raised 2 – 3 days and got SMS for all from Airtel that issue have been resolved while actual picture is none of the complain is actually resolved.

Bharti Airtel (Airtel Digital) — Poor Customer Service

I am a customer of Airtel Digital with customer id [protected] and had been trying to get a service from Airtel to remove my DTH connection from my previous residence and re-install at my new residential address which is within 1km distance from my old residence, but was frustrated to the core. I had called the call centers for more than 15 times in the last three days and still have not got my service done. I feels it is shameful for me to still continue as a customer of Airtel Digital.
The call center service is the worst I have ever experienced. It takes 5-10 mins to get connected to an executive and after I get connected to an executive the quality of discussion is very very poor. After I finally converyed my message of request to shift the connection, I was given a date & time before which the service request would be completed and now its two days after the deadline that I am still complaining.
I would like to ask one question to you all in AIRTEL organisation; " Is there a sensible and responsible person in this organisation to attend to customer queries ?" My answer to this as of now is "NO !"

Airtel is the worst service provider for Digital TV connection.


they have no transparent accounting syste, . They charge the customer at will.Even their hiogher upps don't respond. Call centre staff is the worst trained ill mannered and arrrogant. The senior people never come forward to listen to the complaints of customers.

Thier telephone numbers are also not made available to customers.

we should file a class action complaint against them in TRAI as well as consumer courts.

i have even offered to return the set top boxes if they refund my advance.

Coming from teh house of Mittals this is a disgraceful way of dealing with customers.

Their senior officers remain hidden behind the agents of call centres. ther software for acciounting has no system of accounting for two set top boxes in one flat.

Their response is slow, unintelligent. you vcant explain even the simplest thing to them in plain hindi or english.

If you support, we can take class action against them in the consumer court as well as with TRAI.
