[Resolved] Airtel — wrong deduction | |||
Dear Sir, 1) On 28.02.2011 I used airtel mobile office with 450 MB internet balance and Rs.510/- main balance in hand (in respect fo my airtel no.[protected]) in checking my e-mails for which an injustice has been there from airtel in the form of creating a vacuum in my main balance (deducting more than Rs.500/-and kindly leaving twenty one paise for consolation). 2) It is reiterated that I was checking my e-mails only on 28.02.2011 with 450 MB internet balance and Rs.510/- main balance in hand. But in between when one mail was delayed in opening then I checked the connection and found that internet balance was reduced to zero and main balance to 21 paise respectively from 450 MB and Rs.500/-. 3) Immediately I lodged a complain through email to [protected]@ in.airtel.com and in response to which yesterday on 01.03.2011 at about 18.10 hours I received a phone call from the no.[protected] intimating me that the wrong deduction of more than Rs.500/-by them was correct as I had used airtel GPRS instead of mobile office. 4) In this context this is to mention here that a. The default setting in my mobile Nokia N 73 and in my Laptop Sony Vaio connecting through Nokia PC suite is MOBILE OFFICE. Then how it can connect something else? b. If, however, it had happened so is it so costly that merely viewing 3-4 mails would cost 450 MB internet balance together with more than Rs.500/- main balance? c. Moreover, I had subscribed for 2GB airtel mobile office for one month. They allowed me to use it for 25 days (1550 MB) but for remaining 5 days (450 MB) I was switched onto airtel GPRS without my consent with an intention to deduct more than Rs.500/- amount from my main balance? How it happened? d. Can I access airtel 3G or Broadband? Certainly not as I have not subscribed for those. Similarly when I had subscribed for 2GB airtel mobile office for one month then how it is told that I have used another pack of internet? Only because sufficient balance were there in my account to have a foreplay with it time and again? submitted for your necessary kind intervention please. Airtel / Mobile Office — charge from main balance for using MO
I have activated Mobile Office Service by recharging 498/-. But from yesterday whenever i connect to internet from my mobile the charge is deducted from my main balance. however AIRTEL launch this product as unlimited internet usage. Dear Sir,
This is to regards that i have a Serious concern with "Airtel" Today i have recharged with 102 rupees which is for unlimited sms free. After recharge i have sent couple of messages after free also company has deducted few money from my account and still the services is not activated yet.i called airtel regards this they said that amount will not be refund back and this concern is repeated from last two month this is not a first time this is happened earlier also.
I request you to kindly look into this matter.

Airtel — Soon Airtel Is going to be in 100 th position
If this proposal to charge customers for calls made to customer care is accepted, it would have,in my opinion,the following impacts:1. Customers would be put on hold for longer duration to milk money.
2. Over a period of time customers would become intelligent and start making calls from office phones etc.
3. A lot of customers who don't have the second option would stop making calls to customer care even if a caller tune is activated without request and so on. You might even find companies start charging us wrongly by a few rupees every day in the hope that no one would dare call customer care.
4. If the calls made to Customer care become very less these telcos would not need to hire many for call centers. So job losses would occur and economy would have some impact due to this.
I am holder of Air tel mobile phone no - [protected]. On 15/4 I found that a sum of Rs 30 has been wrongfully deducted from my prepaid balance. On lodging a complaint with Air tel I was informed that this amount has been deducted on account of so called services taken by me by dialing 543216 number which is said to be regarding friend chat service. I never opted for such service and neither I ever indulged in ringing up on this number. I am a senior citizen. The Air tel did not refund the amount to my balance. This is third instance of such wrong deduction. I was refunded Rs 30 feb 2010.
I agree with your complaint.

From 28/11/10 I am charged everyday with 2 or 1 rupee per day.
By thbis way ur company has deducted the lumsum amount of nearly 15 rupees.
Give me my money back & stop every such MEGA MASTI services which I have never subscribed.
I am trying to complain for the same from so many days but you people have blocked my number for 121 & also for 198.
so discard such useless services which never demanded from you & give me my 15 rupees back.

Ya its 100% true in airtel. Even it happen to me and to many of my friends. Always airtel charging money from our main balance if once we received the automated call from airtel. Eventhough we cut the call within 2 sec after hearing the computer generated voice, they used to charge us rs.15 or rs.30 based on the call we attend. If we contact customer care means, they used to tell that we only pressed the corresponding key for charging the money. Its highly irresponsible act from airtel. These problems arise if we attend the calls regarding hello tunes, airtel radio subscription, etc...also they used to set hello tune by themselves and charging from us by telling that we only select that song. See we know whether we select any song by pressing * and 9 or not, but they used to tell that because you press only, we are charging. Someone stop this idiotic thing from airtel...

& my balance was drastically reduced afterwords;
Airtel has already blocked my number as they don't want to revert my money;
When I called Airtel through someone else's mobile number & inquired about wrong deduction; then I was informed that Airtel has mistakenly deducted my call charges as 60 paisa minute.
But my call charge scheme is 1p/1s.
So my every call which are less than 60 seconds; I am still charged with 60 paisa which is wrong.
So give me my money back; also give me detailed call charges deductions of my usage as I don't trust such a cheat company.

Today at early morning @ 6am i had activated a small 3G Pack amount of Rs45 150MB For 7 Days. i hv utilized maximum 130MB from my data but all data balance got deducted and even my main account balance is now 0.0 that time i had 106INR in my account. i am sending you some screenshot of Dongle with following details data Transfer, usage, other activity etc. Please refund my balance in my main account after that m not going to use Airtel services any more. its my humble request to you.

I made a call to No. [protected] by mistake in place of [protected] from my no. [protected] on 13 may 2014 at around 11:05. I got connected to the same person though but then Airtel has debited Rs. 14 for that call. Although I admit that the no. was wrong but was not connected internationally and was local vikhroli no. where I talked to the correct person. When I tried to register a compliant, the person is not able to understand and are not interested in helping. Now if Airtel can understand the problem refund my money. U are free to call me for any query. I request you to read the lines properly and try calling the mistaken and correct no. to verify the truth. Reply ASAP

my mobile no is [protected] airtel, i have not used the internet on 25/10/14 morning, but my net was kept open.i have not browsed anything, airtel has deducted appr RS 25 from my account, when complained to 198 they told that i have used the internet.they refused to refund.it is wrong deduction.so airtel must refund me.

After getting this sms I call 121, customer care representative told me that last day u use Airtel Live and download a game from Airtel Live. For using Airtel Live we are unable to refund your balance(Rs.50).
I am confirm that I am not using Airtel Live more than 1 year(Because I have MO). If possible please know me the real reason for my deduction & also refund my Balance(Rs.50).
