[Resolved]  Airtel / Prepaid — Activate Value added service without consent

Hi,
I didn't revceive any reply from Nodal Officer, Airtel..
Three times they have activated unwanted Value added service on my Mobile without my consent, disturbed me time and again and so far charged more then Rs.100..
Please check trailing mails.

Please look into the matter..

No reply received even afert one week.I have got these ID's from TRAI site..
I will revert back to TRAI if not receive reply from you within 10 days..
Services has been deactivated. But:--
1. Amount not refunded. Customer care says that it will not be refunded...
I want to know your reply before taking further action...
2. Assurance not received that no Value added service will be activated in future without my permission..

Please chcek the Trailing mails.
Some or other value added service is being activated on my cell without my knowlegde/consent..
1.Please take action as per trailing mail and refund full amount deducted so far for NEWS pack..(Appox Rs50+6(for SMS to 53030)
2. Deactivate all value added services for which some charges are there.
3.See that the same is not repeated in future.

My cell No is "[protected]".
News pack was activated on my cell without my consent/information.
I received an SMS that News pack has been actvated and to deactivated send UNSUB NEWS to "53030".
On[protected] I send two SMS's on said No but the SMS's bounced back and Rs6/- were deducted from my account.
After that I launched a No of compliants (Numbers and Airtel official Name given below) but till now the service has not been decativated and my money not refunded.
I am too much disturbed with the News SMS's.
This is clear breach of TRAI rules and regulations.
You are once again requested to deactivate the NEWS pack immediately and refund all the money deducted from my account + Rs. 6 of SMS's sent on March[protected].
Please note that If the service is not deactivated and money refunded to me within 24 hrs, I will file a case against AIRTEL for cheating and mental harassment.

Airtel-Prepaid — VAS service activated and deducted Rs100

i just wanna tell you that i m using airtel servise on my mobil

but from past two month they are deducting my 100 Rs every month for VAS services

for which i have not even requested for and my several complaints no body is ready to listen to my problem and they are not refunding my money

I strongly agree, Airtel is indeed a CHOR company cause they don't have mechanism to hear customer complaints & I believe in coming days customers will show Airtel it's right place by kicking it out of the market.
I strongly believe that Hutch service now Vodafone is best service provider.

My mom is currently using Airtel number. She has neither prescribed to any services nor any subscriptions. But every month they are deducting something between Rs.30 to Rs.50. She has asked many times to the customer care that she does not want any type of such services. Nobody is even guiding her properly nor doing anything about this. She is planning to discontinue Airtel and switch to some other connection. Please employ a bit more resource to addressing complaints than for ads. You wouldn't even need to advertise and you would have overflowing client conections.

Airtel Prepaid — charging without asking

Sir

I am prepaid customer of Airtel mobile service. Of late they have been for cricket scores which I have not asked for Jokes which I did not ask Caller tunes every month as they like. Calling them is of no use. I am just fed up with these people. I request them not to send me any sort of messages. I will have to change my service provider if this continues. This has been going on for months.

Airtel customer.
They have been charging me also since my customer service is close by I could deal with them personally.

1. Airtel prepaid sims are sold through retail outlets. We submit all docs. It's duty of the Airtel to get the docs. Instead after a week, automated message says that, " ENROL FORM NOT RECIEVED. IF NOT RECIEVED SERVICE WILL BE DEACTIVATED". If we call Airtel customer are, they will say, we can't help.

2. Airtel activate Airtel caller tune without customer consent. Infact, I made them to credit back my money on this.

Does TRAI, have any public interest & will it give some guidlines to these operators. I

My sister (Smita Patil) cell phone so i blocked calls to & from my no. two days later i bought new sim & want to continue with previous no. [protected] it has been 3 days now my number is not yet activated. i have submitted all documents to Pune. please look into the matter. now i am really frustrated as i visited the dealer thrice then also there is no progress.

Airtel Prepaid — charging for services without consent

My father aged 78 has a prepaid mobile number [protected] on which value added services have been activated without his knowledge or consent. Neither has he ever activated any service nor given consent for any service. The last 2 recharges of Rs. 275 and 120 have been completely exhausted without making any outgoing calls mysteriously by these services. As a result the poor old man stopped recharging his phone for fear of losing all his money and was UNABLE TO USE THE PHONE WHEN NEEDED.

When he told me this and contacted customer service on his behalf and was shocked to be coolly informed by the customer service agent on 30th june 2010 that 2 services had been activated on the number. These services were NEVER activated by him nor agreed to in any way as response to any sms. I told this to the agent and asked him to deactivate whatever services had been activated.

Then i took the phone to check for myself the problem. I recharged it by Rs205 full talk time on 30th June evening. By morning with NO CALL made it showed a balance of 196. Immeditely contacted customer service to be told that a VOICE CRICKET service had been activated by us. Shocked I asked him who had activated it and when since we had not done it. He informed me that it had been activated at 3 am on 1st July by cms.valuedill.com. Since no activation was done on the phone, this mysterious activation at the unearthly hour of 3 am clearly makes me suspect mischief by airtel or 3rd party with otu without the connivance of airtel which caused the activation of services which were never activated. I WOULD LIKE A FULL INVESTIGATION INTO THE SOURCE OF THE SMSES RECEIVED BY THE AIRTEL SYSTEM WHETHER IT WAS FROM A MOBILE HANDSET OR AN I8NTENET SMS SERVICE WHICH IS PERPETRATING THIS FRAUD ON POOR AND UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS. The callousness with which all the CS agents replied without acknowledging that we had been cheated but insisting that we had activated services is also a matter that needs probing. The call to Customer service was made at 2.35 pm on 1july2010 and the NODAL OFFICER Mr hiten Patel on [protected] at 2.55 pm.

i have airtel prepaid connection. my number is[protected]. today i received one msg from airtel . ie.. you have been charged rs10 for games club. but i am not activated anything. then i called to customer care. they saying today morinig you sent some msg to 54321. for that only you have charged for rs10.but iam not sent any msg. so how to rectify this probleblem.
i am also the victm of this useless network i was also charged the same way and contacted coustomer care and luckly it was refunded they are really cheating customers in many ways
i didnt activate airtel live and spiritual tips also
