[Resolved]  Airtel — Pathetic customer care and no response to customer complaints

For all the money airtel wastes on advertisements, we also fell for it and trusted them by taking Airtel DTH service. We recently shifted locally so had requested for reinstallation for airtel DTH at new place.Despite many requests and customer executives falso promises it got delayed a lot and we had to suffer lot of mental torture calling them several times as if we had no other work to so. After that difficult reinstallation, engineer did some faulty work due to which my remote is not working.
Again same procedure repeated from last 1 month for repairing that remote but no positive response from executives.No engineer has come till date to my place.I have registered for this atleast 5-6 times.Evertime I just receive a msg saying the service request no is ----.I dont get any engineer's number from customer care where i can call up and resolve my problem.
Everytime sms comes that reqquest is resolved...Who resolved it.Did they confirm from me?Then why is my complaint closed without resolving it.Please specify if they dont want to solve it.
Today I received a sms saying my a/c has been deducted Rs. 100 for engineer visit...what the hell!!!
Who engineer came...what he did....If customer care has any shame please give me the details. I will readily pay you Rs. 100 as donation.
They have cut Rs 340 from my account in less than 1 month without explaning me the deductions.
Mr Customer care executives like gaurav,promod,assem etc just dont care about customers and give blank replies.A limit is crossed now.
I want the airtel head office number or any top bosses number to show them the reality in a city like pune where no airtel service engineer available in prime area like aundh which can solve a small remote issue.Shame on Airtel!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree, airtel dth is the worst of all dth service providers in the nation. poor service and inefficient engineers is all they offer.
You will not be surprised - if they come with an explanation - your complaint is resolved.
I know you are facing this problem in Pune and I know the reasons also.

1) Ms. Shubhangi is TSM working in Airtel office but doesn't know what to do with complaints.
2) Mr. Sachin Patil is ASM working in Airtel Pune office, but he himself doesn't remember - what he had said before 2 days.

3) Now there is something called as Nodal Nautanki: He is Mr. K Rao at Mumbai.

Half the problem of Airtel will be solved if this nodal officer is required to visit all the complainants in Pune. Hope Mr. Ajai Puri is reading this and try to get in touch with Nodal Officer and check his console for functioning of Nodal Desk.
No wonder I am facing this harrassment of calling the customer care three times a day and holding on to each call for more than 15 minutes. I am surprised to see such a pathetic service from a giant like airtel. I had gone for airtel dth, done the full payment. An engineer had come to do the installation but said services will not be activated because of technical reasons and alas I thought it's problem with only my connection and I didn't realize it's the great Airtel and their pathetic service. Shame on you to give such a customer service inspite of the base you guys have!
Please pay me back my money of Rs2514 immediately. I have spent nearly 10 long days with your customer care office but to no avail.You higher ups are in no way better than this. I am sure that thew can not install Airtel DTH in a remote place like Trichy, Tamilnadu. Within 24h you are supposed to install DTH with HD setr of box. I know that your staff are incabable of doing this.

Since TATA, Reliance, Sundirect offer better services. I am tired of your inert customer care personnels at Bangalore.

I applied for Airtel DTH in Bangalore. Got confirmation for installation today 8:30am. Got a call from installer yesterday confirming 12:30pm. Nobody turns up and installer doesn't take my call. Called Customer Service but to no avail. Got false promises. Talked again to Prasad (Team lead) who doesnt call back in 5-10 minutes he promised. He was more concerned about "Let me see what problem is installer having" rather than "What problem customer is experiencing". Awesome reverse customer service. Spent over 100 minutes on telephone calls - for which there is no reimbursement for me. Frustated, called at 5:50pm to Airtel customer service. Executive tells me that installation is postponed for 8:30am tomorrow. On asking how do I get notification, he says message receives after 24 hrs. So, installation will be done by Airtel AT THEIR WILL and system notification will come after installation. What a Joke. Basically, there's no accountability from TRAI or DOT on type of service rendered. Airtel has pocketed the money for 2 days and earning interest from consumers without providing service.

Called Cust Serv at [protected] over 15 times. Looks like my number was flashed to be blocked. On selecting option of "Schedule Installation" (Option 5), 3-4 sec after connecting, my call got disconnected. Finally got a call at 8:30pm with promise to revert in morning. Today morning, waited till 10:30am and called Cust Serv. Got escalation supervisor Marie who promises to call after 2 hrs. Asked for Disconnection and refund and was told that "separate backend team" will call. Obviously, another PROCEDURE TO ADD DELAY an retain the consumer money. I am sure Airtel will deduct "Processing Charges" if I ask for refund. And they won't pay me Interest for Withholding my money (without providing any service). How much money in Interest is Airtel accumulating without providing service is to be brought to Notice of DOT / TRAI. With the Pre-paid Service of DTH, it's nothing but turned into a Money Grabbing Opportunity for this and other DTH Service Providers. Is DOT/TRAI listening?

i just wont to know , i have 100 rupees Airetl DTH Recharge Done Here. may
i know it sucessfully credited? But 100 rupees is Credit from my a/c.
i need urgent responde.
