I have recieved sms on my mobile regarding winning of 500, 000 pound from 2009 CHEVRON INT'L MOBILE AWARD. when I contented throught the Email, his repply was, pay the total sum of ₤350 Pounds ( 28, 500.00. INR ) for local custom clearance charges to the India custom immediately our Chief Delivery officer (Diplomat), arrives INDIA . I don't know whether is it true? or not. Please let me know anyone.

I have also received a similar sms in my BSNL mobile. With an assuption of being defrauded by some other persons, I replied that I could only receive the prize after deduction of the amount, if any at source.

I have the due honour to ventilate you a very critical situation in which I am in now for your kind perusal and needful action thereof. This is mentioned briefly in the following columns-
1. On 28 September 2009 I have received an email from [protected]@rbionline.net to my email address. The summery of the mail is a DD which Ref: CB/UK/234/07/09 from BMW AUTOMOBILE COMPANY BOARD DONATION, BARACLAY’S BANK OF ENGLAND. In that mail DR. DENNIS DOUGLAS name is scribed and Smt. DORA ABHISHECK KUMAR, RBI Foreign Exchange Department, Mumbai greets me congratulation. In a joking mood, I have sent a scan copy of my Driving License with reference to the mail.
2. On 01-10-09 a lady telephoned me in my cell no using the name of RBI to contact for exchange for the amount and she also consulted with me over telephone on 3rd October, 2009. The very lady conversed me from telephone no [protected].
3. On 05-10-09 I have manage to collect another telephone no [protected] in which I have talked Minakshi Kapoor who told me she is the Director of Remittance Dept. RBI, Mumbai. And from another cell no [protected] (at 11.36 A.M.) an sms advised me to deposit Rs. 30000/- in the A/C name of Sabrina Khusroo, A/C no- [protected] in Bank of Baroda, Mumbai.
4. Having received the sms I contacted with said Minakshi Kapoor, who assured me that Bank of Baroda, is the Money Exchanging Bank. And in about 4.00 P.M I have received another sms saying, ” I am the officer from UK that deposited your Draft to RBI, Mumbai”. And I also found in your site so many examples of such.
Under this critical event I am in doubt whether I am the victim of cyber crime or not? If that is true, why the RBI do no taking any action, while I have consulted with so many official of RBI over telephone and also sent email to RBI Mumbai and astonishingly get no feed back.
If my doubt is wrong or really the said DD is deposited to RBI Mumbai, why the amount is not transferred to my A/C deducting all the processing fees and I have to cash to Bank of Baroda in the name of Sabrina Khusroo.
Please sir sends me an email regarding this which I am awaiting for.
