I am a teacher working in a school in Erode. I am very sad to tell you that i did not get the EPIC in the new locality after shifting my house. I would like to bring it to your kind notice that i filed form 6 and submitted the same to the concerned authorities in my locality. I wonder how it was not reflected in the electoral roll published. I would like to add that my mother's and brother's name also was'nt there. As a teacher of social science, i feel bad when i am unable to do my democratic responsibility even if i am interested. Hope that the authorities will take necessary steps for it.

i am Radhika M. i got my voters ID in 2002. i got married in 2005 and since then hv not stayed at my native place permanently though i go there often. after marriage i have not cast my vote since at that time i would b 'out of station'. last year my parents got an intimation from the electoral registration officer of of kozhikode, kerala, that they are cancelling my voters id as i am not permanently staying at the given address. they did not give any solution to either renewing my old ID card or getting a new one. i want to know where i can make inquiries about the above.

I have already my voter id card .i am very unhappy to say that my name & my husband name have not been included in the current voter list even though we had our voter id card. My current rental residential is in coimbatore due to his work.. But today i surprised to know that our names are not included.
See we are staying in coimbatore just because of work only, But any time we get back to our native .we have all our id proof and address proof like Ration card, Passport, Driving License, Voter id & etc in the address of (KALAKANMAI), In that village so many people are not there because of work, But without informing me V.O of our village cancell my name only.i want to know the reason.If my name is cancelled so many peoples are not there why should they didn't cancelled.
So I want to know whether this card is valid for making vote are not .

Dear Sir,

My wife, my son and myself have not yet received our Voter's id card for almost past five months from[protected], after submitting Form-8, with two copies of photos with each application.

Anna Hazare has brought to surface very big fishes. But who will help to bring small fishes (together, their impact can be much more that big fishes!) to surface. There is absolutely no accounatability of public servants - officers, clerks alike. They escape attention due to focus on big fishes.

With great difficulty, me, my wife and ur son had obtained Voter Id Cards in 2009 Nos. XPD0797340, 65 & 57). We were shocked to see the apathy of the clerks and lower level Babus who could make so much blunders in the cards! Only illiterates can make such mistakes. We were told to submit seperate applications to correct the errors which we did promptly. Unfortunately, even after almost 2 year we are carrying cards which are symbols of shame for a country boasting to be an emerging power.

We all know that there are thousands or lakhs of such cases who are quitely tolerating the incompetent servants salaried by our money. What is the use in fighting corruption in high offices while small culprits are enjoying free lunch. I feel we should rather start the fight from grassroots to eliminate suffering of common man first.
