Dear Sir,
My name is Neeraj Chandak . My address is 24/107-A Birhana Road, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh (Arya Nagar Ward).

Today we have elections in our city. My complaint is regarding the voter list in my ward. When I went there to cast my vote with my voter id card(DQD1840941) and pan card in original; issued by the Government of India; I was exempted from casting my vote as my name in the voters list was found missing. In contradiction my name was in the enrollment list before the elections 2012 and with the same voter id card I cast my vote in the previous elections in the same ward and with the same voter id card.

Sir kindly look into the matter as soon as possible n with your quick efforts I would be able to practice my right to vote.
Waiting for a quick response.
Thanking You
Neeraj Chandak

Dear Sir,

I have a complaint against the Councillor of ward no 195 Govindpuri ward, New Delhi. The MCD election have been declared on 15th of April 2012 in Delhi and Achar Sahinta has been implemented for the same but the above said Councillor Mr. Rakesh Chand Issar is still making the Jhuggi-Jhopdi streets concreted and announcing falsely that he is going to provide flats to the Jhuggi-Jhopdi residents. Weather we all know it doesn't comes under the power of a Councillor. I also have a video clip in which the work is being going on by the MCD employees. If you require I will provide you the same.
Please take necessary action in this matter, the stop the Councillor in making fool to the poor and illiterate people.

# Feel Free to contact me if require.

There is election in bhiwandi municipal corporation in Bhiwandi Dist. Thane 421302 on April 15 2012. In ward no 70 i.e Padmanagar area there are many south indians. But no one is ready to stand in election. This matter had came in paper media also. But reason was all are threatened by the present Councillor. Last Election also whoever were participated in election agaist that present Councillor were broken there head or legs. Many Complaints were against that councillor, but no action had taken. All padmangar area people are feared either they don't want to vote to a wrong person or if they will not vote to present councillor then he will hammer them. I want to know only if that present councillor had many criminal chages how the election commission had given permission to participate in the election. Please look after this matter.

This is with reference to my Complaint id # AP/23/39094 Dated: 03rd June, 2012.

I am glad that, you have responded to my complaint and I have received a call day before yesterday (i.e., 04th June, 2012) night at 10:35pm from RDO - A.E. Mr. Rajasekhar.

At once, I felt our System is working and I have got some faith in the system when people responded to my complaint. But when I had been to the office of MRO today, again the same Ooooold story has repeated.

I was asked to collect my Voter ID card from MRO office, Tirupathi on the next day i.e., on 05th June, 2012.

When I had been to the MRO office for the FIRST time, there was a power shut down and hence, the concerned Officer at the issuing desk told me to come later. He did not say anything more than this. And when I had been there the SECOND time, I was asked to submit an Application form along with my ID proof xerox copy and I was told to pay Rs. 10/-. It is surprising that, when we are applying for our Indian Citizenship proof, why should we pay an amount for this? Why you are charging for this?

Do we need to pay an amount to obtain our Right? Anyway, I was prepared to pay this and took (THIRD time) the filled in Application form along with the photostat copy of my ID proof and submitted the same. The concerned (same) officer THEN told me that, we have to get the lamination of the Voter Card done on our own.

Can't he explain the procedure clearly at first? or Does he wants to enjoy playing with the people like this??? This is how few of the Govt. Employees are working.

I really don't understand why the people are being charged to obtain the Voter Cards. I was also advised that, if I want the Card for free of cost, I have to collect from the Concerned officers who visit the places in their respective wards and issue the cards.
Sir, FOR YOUR INFORMATION till date a lot of people have done surveys for Voter details. They have come to our place, collected & Corrected all the details including the spelling of names. But noone has issued Voter cards. We were told that, we have to collect the cards at MRO office. Not only myself, none of my family members have not received our Voter Cards till date. Is this the way the system is running?

Most of the people are really fed up with this kind of irresponsible answers, from the concerned officers both at office and those who visit the wards as well.

I would like to bring to your kind notice that, MOST of the Voter Cards issued do not consist exact details. Even after many surveys and corrections made by the Office staff, we don't know why this is happening and where its going wrong.

You can please find my scanned copy of my Voter Slip issued for the purpose of Voting for this By-elections. I request you to compare my name in both the languages. (Elector's name, Father Name, spelling mistake in the Address, etc). Not only this, this is just a sample there are a lot of errors both typo as well as blunder mistakes like photos replacement, Address errors, etc are found and we really feel whether the officers are working.

With all these, I conclude that, this is really a shame on the system and this is absolutely a failure of the process. I have no interest and NO TIME TO RUN BEHIND the offices to collect MY Voter Card.

Its really WASTE of TIME, ENERGY & MONEY / PETROL. We people never expect anything great from you officers but just the work to be done in a Turn around Time but its really paining when the Concerned officer does not even respond to our doubts and don't even care the citizens who approach them.

It is clearly understood that, noone is questioning and that is the reason why many of the officers are lethargic and irresponsible towards their duties. So it is also the fault of the people who never open their mouth and who never question when something is not correct according to the system.

When a Citizen has not received his / her voter Id card even after consulting the Concerned Officers in the offices, at the age of 29 (even people at the age of 72), it means that the SYSTEM has FAILED.

Hence, I request you to take necessary action at the earliest in this regard and bring back the faith in the people on our System.

Yours Sincerely,
Sri Moorthi Kompella
