[Resolved] EPF, Chennai — Non-receipt of EPF amount | |
Ref No. RC/TN/Cash/P.I. No. 2262/2308/Group 09; Dated 27/07/2006 PF A/C No. TN/347A/6680 Two cheques had been sent to my bank - Indian Bank, Palakkad by from EPF, Chennai. a copy of the intimation was sent to my address. Unfortunately at that time, the account was in my wife's name and not a joint a/c. For this reason, the cheques were sent back as per the Indian bank authorities. Subsequently, I converted the a/c to a joint a/c and wrote several letters to EPF. It is now more than a year, I have still not got the amount. The cheque details are as follows: Chq. No. 202323 dated 26/07/2006 and Chq. No. 698405 dated 26/07/2006 Please look into the matter urgently and help me to get my rightful amount from the EPF. Recent technology updation like this in PF office is good. Unlless the drawees fills their particulars like bank accounts and address correctly, it is very difficult for them.
However, I would like to mention that withdrawal of computation from last year is not correct as most of the persons may utilise the money for their expenses which includes marriages, higher education, etc and even for medical expenses. This may please be thought of and help the members.
