[Resolved] Goodyear Tyre — DEFECTIVE NEW TYRE | |||
Sir, I had purchased SKODA OCTAVIA in janurary 2010,after the delivery of the car i checked my car's extra tyre(stephny) at home. the tyre was in empty air condition.i told about this to the sidak automobiles karnal, they check the tyre the new tyre ws bleeding air due to high pressure leakege in tyre.they complaint to good year company, after 10 days good year service man came to the visit & made a wrong behave with me & said that the tyre is puncture & then i told him that how it can be puncture i never used this tyre & its brand new. after a long talk he was agree to give claim my complaint he given me a letter of company & told me to change the tyre from any of the dealer of good year, but every dealer of good year is corrupt, i called kurukshetra,kaithal,karnal & other cities but every dealer was saying that he is not the proper dealer of company. they were ready to give me new tyre for sale purpose only, but they refused to give the tyre against my complaint.i called many times to customer care, but they have only talkies not any action. if i m suffering from that condition due to my new tyre problem, old tyres complaints check hoti bhi hongi yaa nahi. please resolve my problem. i shall be thankful to you for this Request raddressal Regds deepak garg m/s m.c.collection pt. jai parkash market pehowa(kurukshetra)136128 [protected] [protected] Was this information helpful? | |||

Complaint/Damaged Tyre
Sir,
I was complaint on dated Nov.2009 due to inflation in three tyres, my complaint no. is [protected], I visited m/s Patel shah & company, satellite as per
discusion there was contact your authorized person to Mr. Hitender he checked 3 tyres and also agreed but requested to me saying that this time two tyres
will be replace by me due to unavailable of tyres. Hence, my complaint was not fulfilled of your authorized person, in respect i was messaged on
14 nov. 2009 by mobile but replied not received from your side. The same problem was pending since long and for that again complaint booked and
[reference no. is Q[protected]] I visited today(14/07/2010) at m/s patel shah & company as per your received msg. there your authorized person available
and checked the tyres and refused to replace as saying that tyre was has been punctured three times. In respect of my complaint no.[protected] i discussed and told him that
the complained was pending since nov. 2009, which complained was for 3 tyres but he was not agree please requested to see the matter as per my original complaint no.[protected] and consider my genuine problem, I shall be thankful for your cooperation.

Did your tyre got replaced by Goodyear or not ?
I noticed and found that there are 2 bubles in rear trye and my car has only covered 6600Kms till so far.

Goodyear Tyre — defect
Goodyear tyre size 185/60 R14,pattern Eagle NC T5 date of manufacturing sep09, developed wobbling followed by side wall cut.Vehicle done only 12000 Kms in Army cantt Area after purchase of veh in oct 09. Spot inspection report by company representative unsatisfactory. Company declines replacement inspite of obvious manufacturing defect moreover tyre being under warranty period (upto 3 years from manufacturing).Request direct company for replacement forthwith. This is to bring to your notice, that recently bought Diesel Beat from Aravali Motors Sector 14 Gurgaon, It comes with a stock Tyre of Goodyear, after driving for Just 800 Km tyre developed a crack, in the side walls, and this is no Damage, as my rims have no mark of any damage, now the Engineers says that this normal damage, tell me sir, what kind of tyre they make, that can only last 800 kms. I am thoroughly feel cheated by this thug company(Good Year), now I plan to replace all my tyre to Michelin, Please help me if you can.

Hello Sir,This is to bring to your notice, that recently bought Diesel Beat from Aravali Motors Sector 14 Gurgaon,It comes with a stock Tyre of Goodyear, after driving for Just 800 Km tyre developed a crack, in the side walls, and this is no Damage, as my rims have no mark of any damage, now the Engineers says that this normal damage, tell me sir, what kind of tyre they make, that can only last 800 kms. I am thoroughly feel cheated by this thug company(Good Year), now I plan to replace all my tyre to Michelin, Please help me if you can.

I am also having same experience. I purchased a BEAT LT from Geeyam Motors, Kochi with Good Year 4 tyres 165/65-14R TL. One tyre got burst (crack in the Sidewall Groove Line) before 500 KM. and ANOTHER tyres also got burst (sidewall) before 2000 KM. Neither the Car dealer NOR Company Rep is ready to replace these tyres. They are blaiming the Driver. I got an expert opinion that I should lodge a complaint in the CONSUMER FORUM and I am planning to do this. They are CHEATING THE CONSUMERS. Ravi [protected]

HI, BOUGHT HONDA CITY IN THE MONTH OF APRIL-MAY 2012. TODAY I SAW A HOLE/CRACK ON THE FRONT LEFT SIDE TYRE. WNAT TO UNDERSTAND & PROPER INSPECTION OF THE TYRE IS IT A MANUFACTURING FAULT. REGARDS RAHUL MEHER
