Unecessary charges for Insurance
Dear sir,
HSBC is one of the worst credit card company i have ever dealt with
To Start with:
1. Non delivery of the statements in the starting months
2. Subject to that they keep on charging late repayment and so many other charges
4. Unecessary charges of Insurance given by TATA AIG and they even claim that I have signed it
5. Loss of some Rs 500 for continuos 10 months which they claim are non refundable
6. I have cancelled my credit card immediately to avoid my future loss of many

Kindly take some action to protect many customers like me who unknowing get these unecessary items in their credit card bill

I have a credit card of HSBC Bank card NO.[protected] in the name of Manoj Thakur. Futhur I would like to mention that have never used this card as per my knowledge till date. I got a credit card statement from HSBC Bank only via e-mail which i was not able to open. I was shocked to see that there is a debit balance of 20000 in my statement which has drawn as a cash from ATM. I had visited HSBC office at Chandigarh and told them about the misuse of my credit card but did not got an satisfactory answer. Instead of probing the matter they did not even took my written complaint.I have asked them to clarify that which ATM machine and from where this amount is withdrawn and as there is a CCD camera in every ATM machine.So kindly collect the video of that also.Because I am 100 % sure that this amount is not withdrawn by me or my this credit card.
As I am really getting frustrated with this.So kindly help me to resolve this issue.


I have not paid any amount to this account till date and hence the intereset and other charges are building up. Request you to kindly consider my complaint and resolve the matter.

Dear Sir,

This is not complaint. But the action to be taken immediatly.
I received a call on 11th june 09 regarding security of my credit card No.[protected] for which HSBC charges around Rs1000 per year. The telephone came when I am in busy in office and ageed for the proposel..But I don't want that security and HSBC should not charge the security charges in the next month bill.

I have a credit card with HSBC no.[protected] at Mumbai. My daughter has an add on card no [protected] located at ATLANTA. USA now it is appearing that our card has been misused by somebody for an amount of Rs 160000/-, all of them look like an online transaction and probably the goods might have not been delivered as the card is with my daughter and not used by her. You are requested to find out the details and take necessary steps to restore our account at the earliest.
please also reply us the details as and when you get the information and ensure that you do not make any payment whatsoever .

Not paying us the money and are increasing due amt also after death
Dear Sir/Madam
My uncle who had expired on 22 Oct 2005 were having bank accounts in HSBC as well as CITY Bank. Now after his death when we tried to ask them for money by giving his death certificates, they are telling their parents who are so aged that father cannot even see (75-80 years). They are telling them to go to Chennai and take the amount. Also they are sending us bills and calling them (their parents of age 75 years) and telling them to pay the amount or else they will not clear any amount which they have in their bank of my uncle (who had expired).

I will be highly obliged to you and his parents will give you blessings as they are in need of money being their only child (BOY) expired who was the only source of earnings n their house. Please help them.

Unecessary charges for Insurance & harassment
Dear sir,
HSBC is one of the worst credit card company i have ever dealt with

I was issued a Gold Credit Card no. [protected] in Feb 08 from the 1st statement i was charged with Unecessary charges of Insurance given by TATA AIG w/o my opting for it .
I complianed to customer care about either reversing the same or else cancelling my credit .

I never made any transaction over the card and continue to get calls for payment on account of false
AIG insurance + cummulative late charges imposed over it & i always informed about my cancelling the same .
Suddenly on 11th june 09, i got call from one Gaurav from landline no. [protected] about settling the account by paying Rs 500 towards card renewal charges, i informed him about earlier case of wrong charges towards insurance & even confirmed that i never made any transaction over this card .
He confirmed those were wrong charges asked & now i should pay 500 to close this issue.

I informed him that card was issued to me on life time free term basis & there is no question of such renewal charges and how suddenly bank can ask for charges on account of some other head, so i will not pay any amount .
He again started calling me repeatedly on 12th june 05-06 time and when i told him to put the phone down, he started misbehaving and started using philthy language .
I request for settling my dispute, when i never used this card for any transaction & bank seems to be unnecessary trouble innocent people thru' ill mannered exectives, who do n't even know, the way to behave in service industry .
Strict action should be taken againt people like Gaurav, to avoid harassment for people like us.


3. Nilesh(HSBC) is the worst customer care person i have talked to who doesnt care for customer concerns by just telling to cancel your credit card if you have any problem

HSBC Credit Card — Status of Credit Card Issuance

I have applied for HSBC credit card in the month of May ' 09 but I have not received card so for. Kinldy inform about the status.

HSBC has send me some random charges and now they are not going to revert back.

They donot entertain their customers on their branches...The only way is Internet or customer care over phone..But they are not ready to assist me their.

I want to file a case against them..Plz tell me what is the process

its not a matter of Rs 5000 but the law and order these foreign banks have to maintain in India otherwise we will soon see a big forgery in India following America

HSBC Credit Card — Incorrect billing Amount

I had a credit card from HSBC and in the month of Nov/Dec 2006 they made a mistake in the billing and even on my informing them several times they never corrected the bill amount. I did not pay the bill for that reason and now I have a negative credit rating at cibil because of which I am not able to apply for any other credit card.

HSBC customer care dont know how to handle this case and have given me some number[protected] which no one picks ever. There was some person (Kiran Bopaiah) who visited me to collect the bill amount (the incorrect bill amount without any late fee) to close the credit card but never showed up again. I have his number but no one picks the phone. Good thing is he sent me an excel sheet of all my spendings and if I add it up, the amount I get is less than the bill amount for Jan 2007. So there was clearly some mistake.

I have the copies of all the emails I have sent to the HSBC to settle this problem, but they just apologized for the delay and said it will be resolved asap. This is in addition to the long time I have spent waiting for the customer care people on phone.
Since I have repaid the total amount of the credit card no.:

2. Add on card, if any
I request u to cancel my credit card(s) as mentioned above immediately and inform me accordingly.
Dear Sir,

On 11th June 2009 I received a call from HSBC when I was busy in the office and asked for card security and I accepted. Later on another phone call received that the charges for the above will be around Rs.1000, and will be shown in my next months statement.

Kindly advice the concern executives to stop the above charges as I don't want any security to my card.

HSBC Credit Card — Payment has done but still charging 2000 ,abused call from agents

i have paid HSBC Credit card amount fully, but still they are asking me to pay 2000 rupess as i have not cancelled the card, but so many times i have told them to cancel my card on mail a7 verbally also
recovery agent from ND[protected] are calling on mobile & abusing me.

HSBC Credit Card — Got 5800/- extra in my bill for june month

Hi Sir,
I have been using HSBC Credit card from one year. i made a transaction of 5800/- rupees in Jan 2009. i got the same amount in Feb 2009 bill also. but the same transaction came again in Jun 2009 month bill also without any reason. I have called to customer care but they did not give any explanation for this mistake and told me to pay bill.
How can i pay?
