HSBC — regarding my credit card

sir i am a customer of hsbc with credit card and with the personnel loan i have been paying them promptly for the cards by cash at there counter in my place but for my personel loan i have given an ecs thorugh my account with hdfc and the things was going normally i have being bepositing the amount in the account at the tright time but in the year 2006 june i had a call from the collecting of the bank asking me that the due is bending i told them that i have deposited the amount in the account the first time they where polit and told that they will check it and after that a week one mr subash called to my land line and my wife picked the phone and he spoked to her in a very third rated and then my wife called me and told this as soon as i was back i took the detail of the deposit to the bank officals and showed the details and told that i have not don any mistake but the never belived me and they where saying that i might have given some other cheque for collection and some stories and then i went to my banker and i asked them to check the account then they found that they have given the worng account no so the amount was not debited in my account and i also told the same thing to there collecting officer Mr senthil and he told me to call one of there officer at chennai in name mrs dolly and to report and gave me her no i also did the same and she told me that they will take care of it and i was as usaul depositing the amount in the account things was going normall in the year 2008 jan i had a call from the bank that i have been issued a offer for enhansment of the personel loan and i also took the offer and discussed with them for a month as i was about to purchase a land and after the discussion i submitted my proposal for login in the 8th of feb 2009 and on 11th of feb 2009 my proposal was loged and in 14th of feb 2009 i was told that my loan is being refused as there was over due in the account and i told that i have not missed even a single payment and i am paying the laon prmptly then i was called to there office with all details and they also saw my account and my banker's letter stating that they have given a worng account no so the amount was not debeit in my account and there was enough balance and i told them the need of the loan is badly need to me for the registation charges and they asked me to come to there office and dragged the thing and finilly i acked my lawyer to speak to there credit manager mr rangit and he told that i have to pay the due in that occusion my lawyer asked we are ready to pay but the condition is that will the loan will be through and if not we have to take up this issue to the consumer form and i told my lawyer it is not advisable to fight let us ask them to remove my name form cibil so that we can take the loan form other bank and we can register the property but they also failed to do so and i was not able to rigster the land as the time limit as told in the agreement was over and i lost the entire money which i have payed to the seller then i went to the consumer form with all the details and asked a compansation in that and i have won the case but the companesation which was given to me was not as per my request so i have gone to a apelle in state form in chennai and the case is pending there in mean time they once again have published my name in cibil and they are just spoiling my credit worth of an individual i have given them many chance but they have refused to use it and they have put me in trouble and they are also not accepting the mistakes and they are forceing me i want to know what that i can do in this condition as my name is been in cibil and if the board need the judgement copy of the consumer form i am ready to provide it and also the case that is pending in state form also and i want to remove my name form cibil

HSBC Credit Card — Over Bill - Sign Mismatch

I have made a transaction on textile garment store for RS 15000 and signed my credit slip.After a month i get bill along with this transaction they have charged me for RS 8500 when ask them to submit signed copy bank produce a sheet where my signature is not matching when called the Bank they your card has been used to swipe this transaction you have to pay RS 8500 along with RS 15000 which i actually shopped.

HSBC Credit Card — Harassment by AN Employer

Hi

I was holding an HSBC Credit card and i started receiving calls from HSBC Collection department saying that there is an outstanding of arounD Rs 1 Lakh on my card even though i have used that card for the transactions they said.

Later on i made a complaint for the same in Punjabi Bagh office ( Delhi) and found that there were some additional cards had been issued against my name and thats too were not on my address.

They said thats i have made request for these cards so i have to pay. When i asked them to show the proof they had nothing to show

Its been more that 3-4 months since no action has been taken by HSBC and i am still receiving call from collection department and they are using very abusive language.

HSBC, Credit Card — Bank not closing my card & imposing unnecessary charges

Dear Sir / Madam,

This is regarding my credit card (no.[protected]) with HSBC bank. earlier I was getting my monthly statement through post as well as through mail. But for past 2 months (November & December) I am not getting my statements either by post or through mail. I requested the bank to send the duplicate statement & was told to make the payment and was promised that I will be getting the statement within 24 working hours. The first request for the statement was made on 8th Dec, 2008. Since then I got calls for several times from the collection department of the bank. every time I got the call I asked them to send the statement so that I can verify the correctness & then make the payments as I was finding some discrepency in the amount being told orally by the executives. But every time I was told to make the payment rather than the bank sending me the statements. Since that time I didn't recieve any statement. As I was highly dissatisfied withe the behaviour of the bank I decided to close the card.

My statement date is 25th of every month & I called up the customer care once again on 24th Dec to give me a settlement amount. The executive clearly denied giving any settlement figure & told that I will have to wait for 2 more days as the new statement will get generated by then. I told her that as I want to close the card so I don't want to delay the payment. I also told the executive that I will not be responsible for making any furtther charges being added in the new statement as I can make the payments immediately to avoid any such charges. I also wrote a mail to the mail ID mentioned in the bank's site ([protected]@hsbc.co.in) on 24th Dec expecting to get a resolution immediately. But as an unfortunate part I got the a reply of thismail after 12 days (i.e. th January) saying that no settlement is possible. By this time their was an additional amount of Rs. 10, 500/- charged to me through various ways (without the card being used).

Looking at this kind of behaviour by the bank I was really worried & thus in fear of aviding any further charges I made a payment of Rs. 1, 20, 000/- thinking that the bank may listen to me & close the card after this. But as an irony once again I didn't get any resolution for this. I called up the customer care no.[protected] wrote mails to [protected]@hsbc.co.in on 27-12-08, 4-1-09, 7-1-09, 9-1-09 but didn't hear any positiv not from the banks side. I once again made a payment of R. 1700/- in expectation that I may be able to get all the unwanted & ingenuine charges reversed. But the bank is in no ways looking to give an honest resolution to my problems.

This is my last hope while writing to the consumer forum that I get an honest resolution to my problem.


FINANCIAL DAMAGES:
1) Late payment charges from December onwards
2) Overlimit charges from December onwards (if any).
3) Rs. 10, 500/- added in December months statement & all other charges in subsequent months.
4) Cost incurred in travelling & time wasted in going to HSBC offices (to be verified by honourable forum)
5) Cost incurred in calling the HSBC customer care department (to be verified by honourable forum)
6) Any other hidden charges imposed by the bank related to finance charges imposed in previous months (to be verified by honourable forum)

PHYSICAL DAMAGE:
1) High mental & physical harassment in past 6 months due to bank's ill response & harassment calls for payment.


Please note: Sir/Madm, I'm not getting my card statements also from last 6, 7 monts. Earlier also it was not regular.

I hold HSBC Gold Credit card bearing number [protected]. I believe I have a satisfactory credit rating as I strive to pay more than the minimum amount due within due date every time.

As my credit card is valid till 07/09, a new credit card has been dispatched to my billing address recently, which I have come to know from Blue Dart. Here I would like to mention that I have shifted my office from 403, 4th Floor to 209, 2nd Floor in the same building and as such the card is being sent back by Blue Dart courier to you. HSBC Credit Card — PAYMENT OF DUES

ONCE FROM THE COMPANY CALL CENTER I RECEIVED A CALL TO GO FOR EMI TO PAY MY CREDIT CARD DUES .I AGREED AS THEY VERBALLY GAVE ME A GOOD REPAYMENT SCHEDULE WITH MINIMUM CHARGES.
THEN THEY SUDDENLY SENT A REPRESENTATIVE TO RECOVER THE DUES AND PROMISED TO STOP THE EMI RELATED MATTER.
NOW AGAIN THEY ARE ASKING FOR MONEY AS MY DUES RELATED TO EMI.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SUCH BIG COMPANY DO NOT HAVE PROPER COMMUNICATION .
I AM REALLY ANNOYED, AS SOME OFFER THE EMI AND SOME COME FOR FULL PAYMENT AND AFTER MAKING THE PAYMENT THEN THEY AGAIN ASK FOR PAYMENT.

HSBC Credit Card — Refused to accept Merchant refund as payment

I CALLED THEIR CUSTOMER CARE MANY TIMES TILL DATE EVERY OFFICER SAYS WE DONT HAVE PROPER REASON BUT WE WONT ACCEPT THE MERCHANT TRANSCATION AS PAYMENT... PLZ HELP ME.. THEY HAVE CHARGED ALMOST 2000INR AS FINICIAL CHARGES TOWARDS MY BILL STATEMENT..

HSBC — unwanted charges

My name is Raghavendra Mukherjee and my HSBC card no. is [protected]. My credit card due date is 13 July so on 9th i called up to collection department for collecting my check they have given me a reference no. 4732 and told me that they will collect the check on 11th July but nobody came so i called up so many time to collection department nothing is happened suddenly on 14th July they send 1 executive to collect the cheque, i have given the cheque. on 21st July i got the credit card statement on that they have putted the late payment Rs.521.50 and over limit Rs. 500. charges. my credit card limit is Rs.21000 and opening balance of July/09 is Rs.20856.03 and i have given the cheque of Rs.1050 and the minimum payment was Rs.1042.80. So, my problem is they have putted the unwanted charges of late payment as well overlimit charges as i requested them to collect the check on 9th itself and they promised me to send the person on 11th but they didn't send any person so is it my mistake? i excepted there charges of Rs.35 for cheque collection as well then also they have not send anybody. Please help me for this. until this problem is not cleared i am not going to pay anything to HSBC that's all.
I am a software professional at hyderabad decieved by HSBC credit card.
HSBC, the international bank claiming that it is the worlds local bank is proved to be the world's cheating bank.
The marketing executives of the HSBC credit card department forced me to take credit card (though i hold other bank's credit cards) making false promises that its lifetime free card and no annual charges will be levied agreed up on i have been issued the credit in 2006 till now i've been doing the payments in right time in spite of not receiving any paper bill to address and all of a sudden in 2009 they levied annual fees and all bull charges are levied. When i called those customer care people they never gave me proper solution for this.
I advice you people to not to go ahead with HSBC credit cards in spite of their false promises.

HSBC Credit Card — Illegal billing from HSBC

I had an HSBC Credit card No **********5002, which I stopped using it for 8 months after paying all my dues. But there billing department as generating bill for more than 17k and keep on asking me for the payment. Even after I explain the situation they're not stopping.

More over in the CIBIL ( credit rating service, the amount is still showing as outstanding). I think this is a clear case of financial fraud and also a case in which a foreign bank is misleading a credit rating agency- CIBIL.

Hope some advice on how to proceed with this will to me from this forum.

From my experience please dont deal with this bank and try to stick with our national banks (our national banks may have less services but 1000 times better than these **** private banks.)

HSBC Credit Card / Ivaluemart — Product is not delivered, phone is not woking, no reply from company

I have booked a product with ivaluemart and the amount has been deducted.
After 4 month I have not recieved my product, now days they are not piking the phone even not replying via the mail.

This offer were come with HSBC credit card, I approch to them but they are saying we are not responsible for that.

Could help me out waht should I do?
