Last month i applied for the credit card . Till now i havent got any call from bank. So kindly update and get it sure as soon as possible.

I had also a very bad exp with HSBC, they use thired party for selling off their credit cards who will not speak truth at the selling time and says it is a life time free card but actually when u take this HSBC starts sending the annual fees which is 2000 for Gold credit card, I got this card in my office at HSBC free champign and never used. When i saw statment they calulated (don't know about their calcualtion) for otstanding of 9k whic was only their annual fees n all.. I never used this card. When i approached them they reversed it now but they put my name in CIBIL as a defaulter. Now i am stuck for loan and feeling like cheated by HSBC. We should gather and raise this to RBI.

I won't suggest anybody to go for HSBC, i[censored] wanna go please read document carefully and take sign also of marketing executie on commitments.

I had a HSBC Card in 2001 and made payments upto 2003, january. After that I had lot of problems and I have not recd any calls or letters from HSBC office. I have shifted my house and I do not have any communications. Totally I forgotten the outstandings. In 2009 october suddenly I got a call from recovery agent and been asking the payments. I told after 6 to 7 years the amount might be written off. Why should i pay the amount? Then have taken my new address and they are going to post a letter from HSBC bank for recover of money. NOw why should i pay the money. Please advuce me. Still I am in problem.

HSBC Credit Card — Forcing me to pay even I never had relation with HSBC bank

Hi,

I applied for the Credit card in 2008 and I never recived it because my name was wrongly printed on that. At the same time I made a call to HSBC call center and informed them that I am not accepting the card as printed name on the card is not correct. I requested them either cancel it or send me the another card with correct name.However after that there was no communication from either side.

After 6 months, I received a SMS to pay Rs. 500. I asked them for what should I pay? Again no answer from HSBC.Again after one year I got the SMS to pay Rs 6500.00. I called to service center and sent an email to [protected]@hsbc.co.in.

I got the reply from [protected]@hsbc.co.in and they confirmed that there was some insuarance on the card.I asked them that I did not have any relation with HSBC bank and even I did not carrying any card from HSBC. If I am not using the product from HSBC and they also unable to deliver the product to me so why should I pay?

I start getting calls from the HSBC executives(From Delhi/ Mumbai) to pay the amount and they start forcing me to pay.

I requested them to send me the SCAN document for the policy which has been signed by me?Again I did not get any reply.

In Dec'09, I got the SMS Rs 9881 to pay. I sent an email to [protected]@hsbc.co.in, called to Debt department and call centre and also visited branches and settlement department.However I did not get the satisfactory clarification.

Finally, I sent an email to nodel officer and Ombudsman. Explain the problem to them and asked for the Insurance policy number and Nominee name with the Scan copy of signed document.

I got the document and found that document produced by HSBC bank did not having my original signature. The document did not sign by me. In addition to this my date of birth on the form is also not correct.From last three months this was the harresment for me.

Please look into the issue and I want HSBC should give me the "zero" balance Statement, remove my name form the CIBIL report and my credit history should be posative. In addition to this I want Rs. 100000 from HSBC bank for the Mental and Physical harassment as compensation.

The required document and email can be produce if needed.

HSBC Credit Card — over payment

I have received a SMS on 3rd or 4th of this month (i.e. march 2010) saying that I hvae to pay an amount of nearly Rs 675 . But last month, I payed entire amount what ever which is due according to the statement of February 2010. So there should not be any outstanding amount which I should pay to HSBC. Now I waited for the statement of hardcopy, I did not receive it as on to-day, so I am raising a complaint regarding this anamoly. Please kindly rectify it.

My credit card was expiring in the month of Jan'10.As I was not using the card and not satisfied with services of HSBC, I had requested them in the month of Nov'09 to cancel my membership as card holder.There was no due amount against me as I was not using the card.Now on expiring of card they have sent satement charging Membership fees Rs.2000/- + service tax.I got cancelled my membership as card holder by telephonic talk.They have cancelled it. Though again they have send a statement charging above amount + Late payment charges.
I am really shocked and feel an harresment coming from HSBC Bank.
I had requeted them to cancel membership as card holder some Six Months back knowing that they will charge Renual Fees.But at that time they told you may get card free again.At present continue to hold the card till it expires.
My thought about the Bank has become true on receving the statements with panelty.

I am not suppose to give any amount as I have cancelled my account and there was no purchase outstanding for the last more than six months.

HSBC Credit Card — illegal transaction put on me

I had applied for HSBC credit card in 2006, but never received that card ,now HSBC asking me to pay for transactions that never has been done by me , and they put my name in CIBIL report.
I dont know how HSBC can charge on card that never received by me.They are asking me to pay amt of Rs 88000.

Even they are saying like Rs 22000 transaction has been made , but limit on card is Rs 19000.

Plz suggest me to clear my CIBIL report and resolve the issue.

HSBC Credit Card — Unethical charges

I have used an HSBC credit card and it got expired in 31/12/2008 , and i have last used my card in january 2008 and have converted the amount into 24 Months EMI , I have completed all my EMI,s In Time but there was some late payments due to the fact that my salary gets credited on 1st of every month and my due date falls on the same date so i ratherer missed to pay by 1st couple of times which resulted in attracting late payment fees
Actual amout i swiped was for 10500 and i have converted it into 24 months EMI so with intrested it came to 15k odd
I have paid all my EMIs
but now I am getting a Bill for another 10K which is ridicules ,its like old time goons lending money and charging 4 times the actual amount , i want to settle this issue ,and also they have despacted the replacement card after the expiry which i havent requested
when i called them they informed me that its been received by someone , and since i said i have not received it they would go ahead and block the same . they also gave a disclaimer that they wouldnt be responsbile for the card that has been regenrated ..really absurd answers and after using such cards i request every one not to use Credit cards that to banks like HSBC if not any banks

HSBC Credit Card — payment due without any purchase

I had credit card with HSBC primary card no [protected]. BALANCE IN THE credit card was nil. Few months before HSBC credit card department called me, said that we are closing this credit card as there no purchase has been done in this credit card for past 6 months. They said that there is no due on this card.
After one month they are sending me message that you have to pay 2000 Rs as closeing statement has generated. I called the company that i have not purchased any thing in this credit card. they are telling me you have to pay this amount as service charges or else we will send you recovery agents and complaint to CBIL.

Pls help me in this regards,

HSBC IS THE MOST UNETHICAL CREDIT CARD COMPANY.

- THEY SEND YOU INCORRECT/MANIPULATED BILLS WITH INFLATED FIGURES (FOR LATE PAYMENT, FINANCE CHARGES, ETC. DESPITE YOU AS A CUSTOMER MAKING PAYMENT ON TIME)

- IF YOU REFUSE TO PAY THEY BLACKMAIL YOU IN THE NAME OF CIBIL

RBI SHOULD BAN HSBC CREDIT CARDS.
Yes you are true.You are not only harrsased by HSBC their are lot more.I am also having HSBC CC.I am not using from last two years.In dec 2008 I wanted to cancel it But the customer executive assured me that he is making it free for lifetime.So i was relaxed.But in Jan2010 again the cc statment came with finance chanrges.I called customer executive he dont know anything and cant do anything.I mailed them but invain.The charges keep on increasing, So I paid the unnecssary charges to avoid bad name in CBIL, even rhough I am not using that CC Now I cnaceled the cc thorugh Excutive.But we will not get any conformation from them whther it is canceled or not.We need to call them again.
This is the way consumer is harrased and RBI or no one taking action against them>but if we delayed payment agent will come and harrased us.

hsbc gold credit card — Query on Invalid transactions

I used to hold a HSBC gold credit card no: [protected] which got expired in Feb 2009. I receive a statement in Jan 2010 for an unauthorised payment made for Rs 2870. The bank issues a new card (4384 XXXX XXXX 5007) in my name even after I had informed that " I had no interest in card renewal" . In feb further unauthorised transactions were made on this card for an outstanding amount of Rs 8023.
In regards with the above, I filed a dispute letter , Reference Number:[protected] for which I received a response stating that I would receive a reply withing 30-45 days.
Even after this, I was penalised by their bank executives over the phone asking me to clear the payment and questioning me that why am not making the payment.
I have infact requested them to close my a/c, as my card has been used illegally by someone else. They said that until the outstanding is cleared, we cannot close the a/c.

I tried to track the dispute letter, they logged my case Reference Number[protected]
and said we are working ont he issue and will get back within 30 days time.
I between I receive posts for payment with a different card number (4384 XXXX XXXX 5080), while I haven't received any of the cards issued from this bank, this year.
and today I receive a post stating that If I do not do an immediate payment for Rs12,238, otherwise they are threatening me that they are going to hand over this case to DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY, and I need to bear all the cost incurred. Also they would sent my credit history with this bank to Credit Information Bureau of India Ltd, so that I will be impaired on my baility to avail credit facilities from any financial Institutions.
Hence I request you to please consider this case in the severity and take appropriate actions on this bank, for harrasing me for the unauthorised payment made on my card.

HSBC Credit Card — Unnecessary charges

Dear All @ Grievance Cell ,

Few days back, i received call from DSA of HSBC to upgrade the gold card to
platinum card.. I accepted the offer only after the agent confirmed that
bank will not charge any fees.. Now till date i have not rcvd the new
credit card & i'm receiving almost 10-15 calls daily for payment of Rs
110 towards upgradation of card...I have spoken to your customer care & the supervisor who took the
call simply suggested me to cancel the card, And on her advise i cancelled the card because she did not bothered to help me..

Now your collection team is calling me everyday for payment & are not bothered to call that
DSA.Unnecessary they are harrasing me & my family...

I would have made the payment if i had agreed on the call..If you can
prove that i have agreed to pay the amount, i will issue a cheque at the
same time...

No wonder why banks are suffering loss when they are spending so much
money to recover Rs 110..This amount could have been used towards
development of bank

HSBC - Credit Card — HSBC Credit Card charging annual fee on my card after 3 year suddenly

To Whom It May Concern,

I am the user of HSBC credit card for last 3 years. When I got this card, HSBC told me this is life time free card. But after 3 year they suddenley charged 3000/- for annual fee on my card.

It was very strange for me. When I talked to customer care, they rudley told me that if you have any problem then pay the whole amount and close your card.
That time I cant pay whole outstanding amount, but I was regularly paying my minimum amount.
But why the HSBC type banks harash the users. I am not going to pay whole amount, I will pay my all outstanding balance, but i will not pay that 3000/-. And I will case on HSBC by Consumer Forum. In this way they can understand that, normal people can't bear the fraud by any banks. Even fraud of 1 Re.

I would like to bring to your notice the harassment meted out to by the credit card department

of HSBC. I have been one of their genuine customer to HSBC credit card. I write this letter with

deep regrets and pain for improper action by HSBC. This is reference to HSBC credit card Account

No. [protected]. I am using this for 2 years, I settled all my dues with

REF:-RSCPDNWOFFNDHHDMKEEPERS[protected] as on 20 June 2009, and paid all settled amount in

04 Cheques ( Cheques no. 511861, 511862, 511863, 511864 Drawn on State Bank of India ) dated 26

June 2009 and 14 July 2009 in continuous equated monthly installments within due date 30 September

2009 to HSBC collection Agency and have reciept for the same.
But HSBC bank not initiating to settle this issue. I would like RBI to look into the latest

plight of a genuine customer being threatened for mistake from HSBC. After all these month the

letter which I receive from bank is from JUS-JURIS Law Firm ADVOCATES about the same account as

still running on default status. Now its to inform you that I have faced lot of mental harassment

from the bank regarding the same account which has been settle for which I have paid this is a last

try from my end to let you know if you can send me the zero balance letter. Or rest I should reply

to your legal notice. Kindly look into this matter and do the needfull.

Myself was purchased the gold for Rs.29850/- on 16.02.2008 from Pooja Jwelers Ulhasnagar. The same amount was converted in to 24 EMI for Rs, 1492.00/-. I am already paid all installments regularly. Except this till date I never utilise my credit card No. [protected].
Though I never purchase any kind of goods, Rs.31125.00 are shown as outstanding against my above said credit card.
So you are requested to inform the status of my credit card till date.
