[Resolved]  Irctc — Refund of failed transaction

I tried to book ticket in IRCTC and the transaction failed.But even after 5 days since transaction my bank account not credited with refund and also in IRCTC the status showing settlement done.

Dear sir/madam,

I tried to book "Tatkal" ticket on 1st May 2015 but the transaction was not successful in first time however an amount of Rs 2, 086.19 was deducted from my SBI savings account (A/c No.[protected] vide transaction details "POS PRCH POS[protected] IRCTC".

It has been over a month and the same amount has not been refunded till date.
Kindly look into the matter and refund the same (Rs. 2, 086.19) at the earliest.

I wanted to book a railway reservation ticket from Ahmedabad to Kharagpur on 30/04/08.My account id on IRCTC is gita_maity. I have tried to book the ticket through my SBI ATM -cum debit card, but all the transaction has failed. When i have checked my account Rs 537.00 is debited from my account. I have called the concern authority, they assured me money will be refunded to your account with in few days. I have mailed several times to [protected]@irctc.co.in. At last they told me to send the bank statement. I have send them statement on 24/05/08. Till today they have not reply me and not refund Rs. 537.00 .

With reference to your mail to me on 24/05/2008, You have told i will get reply shorly, but sir i have not got any reply regarding the transction of the account gita_maity on 30/04/08.For this date ticket was not booked but money is debited from my account, that statement i have already send you two times.For this transaction i have mailed you 7th times.
Sir please tell me whether Rs. 537.00 will be refund or not. I am unnecessary wasting my time and money to mail and call you. Is it the right way to treat the customers?
OK sir if possible please refund my illegal debited money Rs. 537.00

Previously I was using "SBI ATM-cum-Debit Card " facility. But today there is no this option on indianrail site. Now how can I book my ticket. I have only SBI ATM/DEBIT card. This is the best way to pay online. Railway must include this payment option again
Why the payment option "SBI ATM-CUM-DEBIT Card" option is not avilable on payment(IRCTC.CO.IN) . Is there any option to make payment through the "SBI ATM-CUM-DEBIT Card"

sir, i booked ticket from new delhi to chennai in tatkal quota but during my processing time my internet connectivity failed i could not receive my ticket. but the money taken from my SBI account so please refund the money(Rs 698).

TCS — Have not got the refund for cancelled e ticket

I cancelled my 2 e-tickets with PNR no.[protected] and [protected] on 27th april 2009.It's status is also cancelled, but i have not get the refund amount in my account.Till when can i expect it.Kindly resolve it as soon as possible as i badly need it.

I am very happy for IRCTC facility. But i have a question ?
MY question is that i have booked a ticket from Patna to S. bakhtiyarpur, then the charges taken by
irctc is 20/- urctc charges and Rs.10/- estra transection charges and on the other hand a person has
booked ticket from Patna to Arariya then the irctc charges taken by irctc only Rs.10/- Why ?
While the distance of first ticket is 201 kms and the distance of 2nd tickets is about 300kms.

Around 10, 000/- has been debited from my account (as the bank is closed I couldn't verified exact amount).
Please do the needful to get my money back as early as possible as I have to buy the tickets immediately.

U have charged commission of IG08759415 & IG08759712 Rs 10/-each(total Rs.20/-) for the failed transactions.kindly refund also this commission charges back to my account .ref no.is [protected] & [protected].
Trains may come late but refunds on time.

for on line booking Railway is getting double benefit.
(i) Saving of Booking Clerk's Salary.
(ii) Office and peripheral not required.
(iii) No crowed
(iv) Not to monitor with Police Officials
(v) Railway Business is the same without any expenditure (software expenses should be met with clerk's salary and office establishment)

When the Railway is getting all the benefit . Why do they charge an additional amount of Rs.10/- per head and Rs.40/- per PNR.

NOT TO CHARGE ANY ADDITIONAL AMOUNT FROM THE LOVING TRAIN PASSENGERS
on 8.8.2009 i had purchased tickets e-tickets using sbi-atm-cum-debit card. When I was making the payment by typing the confirmation code the link to the web site was cut and it prompted me to do the payment once again from the start. So again i login to my irctc site and started the procedure and made my payment of Rs.6267/- + Rs.10/- transaction charges from my sbi atm-cum-debit card for the ticket, Today 10.8.2009 when I checked my bank statement I found to my surprise that an amount of Rs.6277/- has been debited twice from my account whereas I had only purchased 1 ticket. my failed transaction ID No. is [protected]. when i checked refund of my status i found these details. kindly tell me what should I do at this stage.

I have booked the ticket on 24 august 2009. amount has been deducted from my account but ticket has not been booked. is my money will be transfer back to my account or not.what should i do please help me out.

i tried to book a ticket from rajkot to ahmedabad on-04.09.09 for 21.09.09.while booking ticket the display was showing some error&later i booked another ticket.when i saw my pnb statement you have deducted rs157 for the ticket which has not been alloted to me.trans no[protected]/20090905.so please take necessary step so that i can get back my money.
REFUND OF FAILED TRANSACTION-ONLINE BOOKING
I booked one ticket from Vijayawada( BZA) to Visakhapatnam (Train no 2836 ) on 10/11/2009 ON THE INTERNET but the transaction failed due to system fault at the IRCTC website. The amount of money amounting to Rs. 207/- was, however, debited to my SBI account . Their Failed transaction ID is- [protected] dated 10/11/2009.

So please do the refund to my respective account .

1. I had purchased ticket for train no 2138 pujab mail fom new delhi to Nasik road for 17 Jan 2010 PNR No [protected] through the IRCTCs e-ticketing service on 9 Jan 2010 Transaction ID [protected]. I cancelled the same through the IRCTCs e-ticketing service on 13 Jan 2010 Transaction ID [protected]. I have not received any refund on my cancelled ticket and neither have i received any information on exactly when will i be refunded my money. The original ticket cost was Rs 1515 and the amount to be refunded was Rs 1455.

2. Also I had tried to book a ticket for train no 2138 pujab mail fom new delhi to Nasik road for 15 Jan 2010 through the IRCTCs e-ticketing Tatkal service on 13 Jan 2010 at 0830hr. The ticket could not be booked and the screen read "transaction could not be processed" transaction ID [protected]. I tried to book the ticket again and the screen again read "transaction could not be processed" transaction ID [protected]. I later realised to my horror that both times my account was debited for a sum of Rs 2066. making a total sum of Rs 4132.

3. I was using my SBI ATM cum Debit Card service. I would like the IRCTC MANAGEMENT to kindly look into the matter and get me my money totalling a sum of Rs 5587 back.

i have booked one sleeper tatqal ticket from delhi to ballia on date 24 jan2010.but i found that, the transaction is failed due to some problems in irctc site.but there is 416 rs dedeuted from my sbi account.the complete details are mantioned bellow-

but when i checked booked tickets, then i found that no tickets book from my id( luckyvatsa).

Indian Railways — Refund of Money due to Network failure transcation

Dear Sir,

I tried to book my Railway Reservation ticket through IRCTC Online e-ticketing facility on 19/06/2009.

During the booking process due to network failure my transcation could not succeed and reservation was not done. When i cheked my account balance immediately the balance was showing less amount by Rs 387-03.

I request you to kindly look in to this issue and credit my amount of Rs 387-03 to my account number.
