[Resolved] IRCTC.co.in — Wrong status in ticket booking | |||
Hi, I had to book a e-ticket in 3AC in Neelanchal Express for 03.04.2011 from Kanpur Central to Bhubaneswar. When I checked the availability status, it showed 103 berths available. However, when I booked the ticket from Kanpur Central to Bhubaneswar with a boarding from Lucknow and paid the money through my account, it showed me the ticket status as Waitlisted 9. The PNR number of the above booked ticket is[protected]. The screen shots are attached for review. Due to the tickets status as Waitlisted, I have cancelled the ticket and ultimately lost money without getting the reservation also. Can Railway authorities look into the above error in their reservation software and inform me the reasons on my mail ID registered with them, through which I booked the above ticket. On their confirmation, I would like to again book the ticket. Hope they they will refund me the cancellation charges and services, which I am loosing without any fault of mine.
