sir,
I made a programm to JAMMU TAVI (JAT) from KANPUR CENTRAL with my family members.so i made a reservation train named 2487/SEEMANCHAL EXP. to OLD DELHI. In which his sedhule time was 07-09-09 at14:30 but the train arrived 08-09-09at 0:30. So due to late I missed the train who's time route was delhi to jammu and departure time was 23:45, In which time was 23:45 on 07-09-09, In which I reserved the seat .
So, i had to mdke the another reservation to go to jammutavi. So please sir refund my money of reservation of special train 0403.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have booked a ticket through IRCTC on 09 Mar 2012 and the amount got debitted from my Account but PNR number not generated and ticket not issued. I checked in IRCTC site under failed transactions and the transaction is available and provided with information that instructions provided for the Bank to credit the amount on 03 Mar 2012. But still the amount not credited to my account when I enquired with my accounting branch, bank informed that no instructions has been provided to credit the amount. IRCTC Customer care requested to provide the screen shot of my bank trasanctions. But till now I have not received any reply and I followed with them for a couple of times. Please advice how I can get my money back.

    Hello,
    I booked an E-Ticket from Alwaye to Yeshwantpur on 5th September 2009 on train number 2258 PNR number [protected]. The ticket was confirmed at the time of booking. The scheduled departure of the train form the originating station is 20.00 hrs and time of boarding from alwaye station is 00.30 hrs on 6th sept.

    When i tried to cancel the ticket at 0800 hrs on 5th september, which is 12 hours before time of departure, to my horror, the site says that the chart is already prepared and that I cannot cancel my ticket. I called the customer care and got to know that the chart was prepared overnight for this train, which means that the CHART WAS PREPARED 24 HRS BEFORE THE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME FROM ORIGINATING STATION. The IRCTC website clearly says that the chart is prepared 4 hours before time of departure, and in case the departure time is before 12 noon, chart is prepared overnight, which is not the case here.

    I have attached the screenshots which explains my situation

    Hence I would appretiate an explanation from the Indian railways for this and expect a 75% refund for my ticket as quoted in the e ticket cancellation procedure below.
    "If a confirmed ticket is cancelled within 24 hrs and upto 4 hours before the scheduled departure of the train, cancellation charges shall be 25% of the fare subject to the minimum flat rate mentioned in the above clause"

    I came to konw only after the IRCTC web site informed me that this can not be cancelled. If it is so, at the time of booking itself this fact should have been brought to notice. Only after loosing money we realised that.
    i m booked the tatkal ticket from e-ticket. i booked the ticket for 4 march instead of 6 march it possible there should be chance of cancellation after 48 hours. if possibilities occurs plz guide me properly.

    IRCTC — Cancellation of e-ticket before 12 hrs

    Sir,

    I had booked a ticket as Waiting List. The train time is 11AM the next day. I tried to cancel the ticket 8:00 PM the previous day. To my surprise, I got the message that it is not possible to cancel e-tickets once the chart is prepared. I was in the impression that chart is prepared 4 hrs before the train journey time.
    Iam attaching the screen shots of the details I got.
    I kindly request to refund the ticket charges due to inconvenience caused to the customer.
    We should be allowed to cancel the ticket before 12 hrs.

      I purchased a kingfisher drinking water bottel from the IRCTC station stall and when i drank it, it tasted different. Then i noticed that the bottel that they were selling is a refilled one. I lauged a complaint with the station master about it.I had registered a complain dated 03/02/09 at cst station in the name of Bipin S. Lalan. But i think the station master is also involed in it thats why even after registering the complain no action has been taken against him. Thats why today i seek help from www.consumercomplaints.in so that they can do something about it. I also got ill after drinking that water and thats why also expect a compensation for the same for which they can contact me on [protected]. I have all proofs including the platform ticket and the wriiten complain that say's that even the station master caught this stall person red handed.
      Please take action against this as soon as possible if possible cancell that stall's licence for doing something like this because still today he does the same thing and has not changed.

      All irctc stall owners sell products above MRP and no one is taking action against them.
      It happens only in india where everyone is corrupt and think of extorting money..
      Shame on you people..

        Hello,

        Today (31/08/2009) I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on 2703 FALAKNUMA EXP from Cuttack Jn to Vizianagaram Jn boarding on 20/09/2009 at cuttack for Ansumesh Kumar Samal with two other person. Unfortunately after the payment was made through SBI ATM cum DEBIT payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

        This is really embarrasing situation and IRCTC is expected to help me at the earliest with the ticket if the payment is already confirmed at their end. If not refund the same amount.

        Expecting a reply as soon as possible.

        IRCTC — Incomplete e-ticket booking

        Respected Sir,

        I booked my ticket from your site irctc.co.in on 31 may 2009. I was directed to payment page where i filled up all the data needed like card no., expiery dat. Then i clicked on 'PAY' option. Money was dedacted from my account but i didnt recieve any conformation of booking ticket. What should i do ?

        Today (22/08/2009) I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on 2459 NDLSASR Express from New delhi to Ludhiana jn. boarding on 23/08/2009 for Mr. Ramesh Sharma. Unfortunately after the payment was made through SBI payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

        whenever i try to print an e ticket, when i press the button "print ERS" the other window appears with ticket details, but the table in which the details are written, is always shifted right so that when i print it the table is not printed on the sheet.

          I had booked 3 tickets from Delhi-Agra, which were waitlisted at the time of booking.
          One out of the 3 tickets got confirmed 4 hours before travel and I called up the IRCTC call center to cancel the tickets.
          Inspite of my call, they did not cancel the ticket. Later I filed a TDR for the refund of 3 tickets as no had travelled on this ticket. This complaint was filed on 13 Aug, 2008. Till date I have not received the refund of Rs. 2100 inspite of several phone calls and emails to their various departments.
          Dear sir/madam,

          while i was on travel to the holy place of 'MAA VAISHNO DEVI' my return ticket was in the train 0404(Udhampur Delhii Special) on 1st of Sept. 2009 from Jammu Tavi Railway station, when I board the train i have found that there was not even a single drop of water in the train, I have told to the E and the RPF men in the train, but they didn't help me any more. All the passengers have spent all their time without water in the train during their journey to Delhi. Please do somthing about this . My reservation was in Coach no. S7, birth no. 40.

          IRCTC- Indian Railways — Money collected for non-receipt of the tickets

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I was trying to book the tickets for my parents from Chirala to Tirupathi thru IRCTC.CO.IN, after furnishing the details for travel, made the payment Rs.879 thru my SBI Netbanking facility where the same was debited from my account,but the ticket was not issued erroring a meessage 'unable to issue the ticket'. It's been a week but still the money is not yet credited to my SBI account.Attaching the transaction confirmation alert page for your reference.. please do the needful at the earliest.

            I had booked 4 tickets (waitlisted) from Bangalore to Kopargaon on the 26th Mar' 09. Only one ticket got confirmed. I had filed TDR for claiming the refund of the remaining 3 tickets on 27th Mar' 09. The PNR no. for the ticket is [protected]. The transaction ID is [protected].

            There is lack of communication and follow up from IRCTC to CCM/Northern Railway. This has created lot of hardship and I had to follow up with IRCTC, Chennai, Delhi. I have incured huge telephone bills and have suffered mental agony. I would like to be compensated not only for the ticket refund but also for the cost towards follow up and mental agony from the Railways.

            I have booked a ticket on[protected]. suddenly the train has cancelled.so i filed tdr on[protected]
            my pnr no:[protected] and my transid:[protected] and my reference no:ekt[protected] and i have mailed so many times and i rang the phone so many times but still now there is no response so i request you to get my refund amount as early as possible

            army — Refund of unused ticket

            Sir / Madam,

            1. Ref TDR No.084933 dated 26 Aug 07 (2400 hrs) for the refund o[censored]nused ticket PNR No.[protected]. (linked with[protected] from H Nizammuddin (Delhi) to Dehradun. (Copy of TDR and Application for refund is enclosed with)

            2. I was traveling from Agra Cantt to Dehradun on 26 Aug 07. I had the reservation in Taj express from Agra to H Nizammuddin on ticket PNR No.[protected] and further from H Nizammuddin to Dehradun in H Nizammuddin – Dehradun AC Special Express on ticket PNR No.[protected]. (Original Tickets were deposited duly signed at the H Nizammuddin Rly Stn)

            3. The Taj Express got delayed by more than two hrs due to some unknown reasons and reached H Nizammuddin at around 2340 hrs; by that time the H Nizammuddin – Dehradun AC Special Express had already left H Nizammuddin Rly Stn as per the scheduled time and hence I could not catch the H Nizammuddin – Dehradun AC Special Express to Dehradun.

            4. Immediately I approached the station master H Nizammuddin Rly Stn and informed him, as per his directions I had deposited the tickets with the Ticket Depositing office for the refund of the unused ticket.

            5. I had also completed all other formalities as per the directions from the Rly ticket depositing office like filling an application for the refund and writing a personal application to your office seeking the full amount o[censored]nused ticket to be refund, Since then I had been waiting for the refund as promised by the Rly office.

            6. I am an Army Officer presently posted at Indian Military Dehradun as an Instructor. After waiting so long and approaching the local Rly office, I am compelled to write to you for the refund and also to inform you about the inability of the system which is responsible for such delays.




            7. I solely feel I am being troubled for no fault of mine, as Taj Exp got delayed and I missed the linking train to Dehradun. Though I had kept the time gap of around two hrs in Arrival and Departure of the trains, I failed to catch the train due to unusual delay of the Taj Exp at H Nizammuddin Rly Stn and no fault of mine.

            8. Now that refund is already being delayed, may I request you to please check the status of same and send the complete amount of the unused ticket as refund at the earliest. For any kind of conformation or clarification my phone no. and e-mail address are sated above.

            10. I had to travel by road to cover the rest of my journey on 27Aug 08, as I had to join my office on the same day. It was really the worst inconvenience caused to me by the Rly service.

            11. However, keeping the complaints aside, if I can request you to please take an early action in this regard. I will be very thankful to you.

            Northern Railways — no refund of unused ticket

            I had filled a TDR on[protected], against an unused ticket [wait listed 1].It is more than 7mths, yet I have not received the refund. Every time I call the IRCTC, I'm asked to wait for some more time[Latest was on 4 July...was asked to wait for 1 more month???]I would like to know why I have not been given the refund ..and why it is taking them so long, when it has been Admin Approved?It is a genuine case where the passenger did not travel on the said ticket.
            Could someone please help me get the refund of Rs1264 from the northern railways!

            Personal — Refund of unutilized e ticket

            I booked 5 e tickets through an agent on 13th May 2009 for travelling from Egmore to Dadar.
            PNR number of the ticket is [protected].
            The above booking was wait listed till the time of departure.
            Fortunately, one booking pertaining to Shri Jai Ganesh was confirmed after negotiation.
            Since all the members were female and one boy aged was the co passengers, in view of the safety, the entire out journey was dropped.
            Immediately TDR was also filed vide EKT [protected] on 13th May .
            On my approach, the booked agent informed that the refund Rs 6046. will be effected after a lapse of 90 days for technical processing purpose.
            You may see that it is more than days as on day.
            I earnestly request you to kindly look into the matter as the allowed time has already expired and the refund may kindly be made under intimatin to me.

            Dear Sir,

            I have a complaint against your zone that the majhaulia station has reservation facility but i have been facing problems.

            (1) They keep holiday on sunday for reservation of tickets but as per railway rules tha reservation must be done up 14:00 hrs IST. But the Station master says they dont print tickets on Sundays.

            (2) mostly the counter incharge says there is a link problem.

            (3) On dated i went to book a ticket the reservation Counter incharge was not present and in that place a man sitting there said that the inchar is not there and link is also fail.

            (4) Station master is also rude towards the public sometimes..

            Why do they not behave in manner when they are on duty. It makes us feel that we are not making our zone better and providing better service.

            kindly take action against these matter so to provide a better communication and develope our railway Zone so to have a better service for public.

            An another example of negligence - and how Indian railways enjoying on behalf of so called "railways passengers money".

            Even after file TDR on same day i.e 4th Jan 2009 because my train was cancelled on midway in the journey from Varanasi to New Delhi, at Allahabad station (train no 2559- Shiv Ganga Exp), after full 1 year no body seems to be bothered to refund my money for the journey which was not performed by my family. It was an unforgettable journey with very bad experience. And this lead to be a very sad ending.

            There is lack of communication between IRCTC & CCM/Northern Railway.

            I have been a customer of Indian railway. I use to book the ticket through it's business partnor-IRCTC.
            I had booked a E ticket from jammu to new Delhi.
            6 persons were on waiting list in A/C 3 ties coach.
            only one person was confermd with the alloted seat.
            Further, rest passengers could not travell, because IRCTC E tickets are get cancelled automaticall if passengers are on waitlist.(according to IRCTC policy.
            I contacted its customer care for refund of my money. The cusomer care suggested me to file online TDR for refund, as it was the case of partiall waitlisting.
            According to TDR filing process, i must get the refund within 90 days of filing the TDR.
            As i did'nt get the refund of money still after 90 days, i again contacted IRCTC customer care and they said to send an email to [protected]@irctc.co.in .
            I got the reply as well, but they are unable to resolve the concern.
            I have not got my refund still after 6 months

            I was traveling with my family and relatives from Firozabad to Gorakhpur for my daughter’s marriage and for this purpose I had 72 reservation seats. We were 60 persons including men, women and children. We arrived in train at 9:45 pm. After catching train, I saw that there were so many persons in my reserved coach S- 6 & S- 7. We tried our best for getting our own reserved seats but all trials were in vain. After starting of train we searched coach conductor, G. R. P. Police and R. P. F. police for complain and nobody was there. Our tickets were not checked also. After arriving to Kanpur Station, We went to guard of train. We requested to guard that we were unable to find our seats. Our own seats were already occupied but guard didn’t listen to us and gave signals for starting train.
            Due to all, I suffered so many problems. Sir I am requesting you please check all these things well. I have already post so many letters for this purpose but still no any action has been taken.

            The above ticket was a wait listed ticket. There were 6 passengers under the above ticket. Only the first 2 passengers namely M K Verma & Rosy Verma were confirmed under RAC and rest of 4 passengers could not travel as there was no seat.
            Accordingly I requested IRCTC to send me the refund for the unused tickets. After a long correspondance my request was registereds vide No. IRCTC #1271174 but no refund till date has been received. I request the authorities to look into the matter and refund me the amount.             I have a same complain . Infact the Return of Money is on the mercy of Railay/irctc. I have booked my ticket vide PNR NO. [protected] with the status of WL. On 7th. Nov. the date of Departurture, i found only one tickets got RAC and rest were not confirmed. on the very same day, i called IRCTC and filed TDR but even after more than 7 month the money is still not credited.
            i have come hopless since i called several time to IRCT/Exchaged mail but nothing has been done.

              For the last two/three months, the server for E-ticket booking agent is not available at 8 AM. It delays about 20/25 minutes to operate. I sent many mails to IRCTC but their reply is- Due to overload of server, it is slow but my complaints is regarding non-available of server. I apprehend that just at 8AM the server for Agents are blocked or something else for which the servie is unavailable. I am faded up in writing my complaint but nothing has been done so far to solve the problem. This causes us very badly as I am unable to book any ticket upto 8.25/8.30 AM till the server is available.But this time the railway counter is booking ticket smoothly. As a result I never get confirmed ticket as per customer's requirement.When IRCTC have given us agency for e-ticket booking they should have moral reponsibility to see that the server is available at 8.00 AM otherwise no use of providing agency.

              It is surpirsed to me that inspite of my several mails the IRCTC technical team has not taken any corrective action to rectify the problem instead of they are sending mail which is bogus.

              However, I hope that IRCTC will take appropriate action in keeping the server available at 8.00AM. Moreover. in your website page no.256 of Advance Resrvation through Internet(last para), it is clearly mentioned that Online ticket can be booked from 5.30 AM to 11.30 PM on all days. But the real picture is cmpletely difference.

              Your immediately interference is solicited in this matter.

So why my ticket is not confirmed while i am having WL 1 and 2 ?.
                Please check your system as fast as you can because i have to travel tomorrow.

                  This is to inform you that after the introduction of 2 days for tatkal sewa, the service has become pathetic...

                  I used to book ticket through normal quota and if i don't get the ticket then i easily get the tickets in tatkal quota...But after the introduction of 2 days for tatkal quota from 01/08/2009, it has become a headache for us, every time i try to book ticket through tatkal service it says not available...I agree that that it may not be available...But when i try to book a ticket through tatkal sewa for 2oth of the month then i should apply after 18th of that month...But unfortunately it shows that there are no tickets for 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28...

                  I do have a question ----if there is a 2 days advance booking for tatkal then how can it show for the status after 20, because if i need to book a ticket through tatkal for 27, then i should try after 25...So how is possible that when i try to book for 20th ticket on 18th and i get to see the rest of months ticket's not available?

                  What is this???

                  It is simply harassment of people like us...

                  This is not the first time i am facing this problem...This problem has started from 01/08/2009 itself...And i face this problem every time i try to book ticket through irctc site...Finding no reason out i need to book the ticket from the railway counter itself...
                  I beg to say that if this is the type of service you are providing then what's the need of having an account????????????

                    This is regarding PNR numbers [protected] & [protected]. I have spoken to them regarding this refund several times but nobody cares. Coz, who is bothered, its the customers money and not their money. The ticket was cancelled on 02-JUN-2009 and you could just see that till date the department is not bothered to refund the amount. The only problem was that the bank account through which it was booked was closed and this is already in the knowledge of IRCTC. However, I also have all the mail documents which IRCTC had confirmed that the same money would be refunded through cheque, but this was again around 2 months back, again who is bothered...I am just fed up of calling them and mailing them.

                    I would request if this department could help me.
                    This point is quite relevant and not mentioned anywhere in irctc...

                    What happens if a person wants to cancel a ticket, but the bank account for online transaction is closed at the time of refund.Where will he money go then??

                    Any one here with such experience?Whats the resolution?

                        OK, Here is my story - on 19th, 16th and 22nd july I booked 3 confirmed tickets for myself and my family, the pnr number assigned to me as per irctc.co.in were - [protected], [protected] and [protected].

                        Usually I take a printout as soon as i know that my ticket is confirmed. I had my old mother travelling with me so I was extra cautious that tickets are infact CONFIRMED and no last minute waiting. We were supposed to leave from NZM to DDN on 5/Aug/09 at 11:55 pm and i went to take printout of these ticket on 5/aug/09 at 1:00 pm only to find out that the tickets have been cancelled, surprised..., I called up IRCTC [protected]@[protected] and here is the transcript of my conversation -

                        Customer - I am calling in regards to the PNR no. [protected], I have confirmed tickets and your website says that they are cancelled ???
                        IRCTC exec - let me check (after 5 minutes) yes they are cancelled
                        Customer - I want to know how ? I never placed a request to cancel them... is something going wrong with your system ??
                        IRCTC exec - let me check (after 5 minutes) my systems show that you cancelled the tickets
                        Customer - well I did not, I am going to board the train in next few hours... why the hell on earth will I cancel my tickets ???
                        IRCTC exec - no, actually the tickets were cancelled by your user id and password
                        Customer - I am absolutely sure that no one but I know the password of my irctc.co.in account
                        IRCTC exec - we cannot do anythong sir, your tickets are cancelled, how may I help you
                        Customer - you can only help me if you tell me WHO cancelled my tickets... give me the IP ADDRESS from where the tickets were cancelled you must be keeping the session IDs or some sort of information for tracking purpose ?
                        IRCTC exec - all I can tell you is that tickets were cancelled on 4/aug - yesterday
                        Customer - I want to know who cancelled it ? give me the session information, IP address something from where my tickets were cancelled
                        IRCTC exec - I cannot help you any further, please email us at [protected]@irctc.co.in and they will definitely provide you all the information

                        so, I called up again (about 3 times) but... it was a waste of time... and I got the same reply - "email us at [protected]@irctc.co.in"

                        I went to the nearby police station and launched an FIR under cyber crime that someone hacked my password and is misusing my account. Local police said that they will take this up but they were surprised why IRCTC guys are not helping me, they should atlease keep track on IP, session information.

                        So my request to [protected]@irctc.co.in was to kindly check what were the activities on 4/aug/2009, I did not even log into my account that day so something was wrong - I am very much sure that it was someone from IRCTC IT DEPARTMENT who did this, god only knows why ? may be he wanted his/relatives tickets to get confirmed and randomly picked my account and cancelled this.

                        As i was very much expexting, there was no response from IRCTC guys, they are just bunch of stupid people sitting there are eating governments money, well, our taxpayers money.

                        Look at the irony, we pay them and they don't work for us and we can't fire them. :)

                            My TDR is got rejected by irctc by giving the reason that passenger travelled on this ticket ,As I raised TDR by giving the reason that train was late more than 3 hours but they said passenger travelled ,not concidered late status of train . My objection is that yes we travelled but as per the railway rules we must get the refund if the train is late more than 3 hours .as you please check the record the train was late almost 7 hrs and came at akola junction at around 2.30 am in the morning . If my point is about late status how can they said you travelled, it is some what just reply without seeing any details given by me I have all the valid details with me I think railway officals replied without understanding the matter .

                              we are not able to reserver the tatkal tickets on pandian express from Madurai to chennai or from chennai to madurai. tickets will not be available after the booking opens at 8AM, at 8:03AM it got over and went to waiting list. Please look into it.

                              I tried to book tatkaal e-tickets for my dad from bangalore to kolkata as on 30th November 2009 so I logged into the net for the same on the 28th november before 8 am. When I tried to login into the irctc website. It was failing and was not able to login. After 9 am when I was able to login I was amazed to see that all the tatkaal booking was done and now its on waiting list if I book. Next day when I went to the railway reservation counter at around 7.30 am and when the counter opened at 8 am my position was at 10th. So I reached the counter at 8:10 am at the Bangalore City Junction to book the tatkal tickets for my dad from Bangalore(SBC) to Howrah(Hwh). The counter person(Indian Railway Employee) told me that it will be 37th waiting position if I book. Within 10 mins all the tatkal quota of 214 seats were booked as if from all over India people will travel from Bangalore to Howrah only. My question is "How can be this possible ? " . Moreover, after an hour I went to a travel agent and he waited me for half an hour and I got the same tatkaal ticket from him after paying him off extra 300 INR. So it proves how corruption is going on within the Indian Railway and all the Hihger Officials are aware of this but all sit and watch. How worst organisation is Indian Railway. From top level to Lower Level all are corrupted . Knowing all things they all are waiting for bribe and they say we serve people. Shame on Indian Railway . Although I writing a blog wont matter them as they are more than a beast. Even beasts are better than them.
                              Need of more trains connecting kolkata and bhubaneswar with kerala.

                                Sir,
                                on 3.08.2009 i logged into my account with IRCTC, Login ID: mbrng to make ticked from Asansol to Kanpur Central.
                                I checked the availability status on train no. 2942 (Asansol-Ahmedabad Super Fast Express) and found that 56 berths were available. Hence, I proceeded to make ticket. But after payment the e-ticket issued showed that Waitlisted tickets were issued with WL Nos. 58 & 59.
                                I once again checked the availability status and found that the system still showed 56 berths available. I called up the IRCTC help desk and informed them about the problem. They told me that the problem occurred as the system was not updated and asked me to send a mail to them informing them about the matter. subsequently a ticket no. 556255 was generated against my mail.
                                I kept on calling them daily and even mailed them regarding the issue. But no proper response was received from IRCTC. Then I cancelled the ticket on 05.08.2009 and demanded full refund of Rs. 647/-
                                But an amount of Rs. 592/- has been refunded today which is Rs. 55/- less than the full amount.
                                It may please be noted that since the system was not updated, such an error occurred. It is completely negligence on the part of IRCTC and hence the loss must be compensated on their end.
                                The matter may please be taken up with IRCTC for disposal of the issue.

                                    After filing the TDR within 2 days the status became Admin approaved but till date refund didn't happened...                                       on 21st may 2009 i have train from New Delhi to Guwahati my train time was 14.00 pm and i came from Chandigarh to Delhi at 10.00am and i have to wait for few hour so i decided to wait inside the waiting room in platform no.1 in New Delhi station. so the Lady Guard Standing outside the waiting room said me that no you can't wait here because the waiting room is full but after few minutes later she allow another people to go inside the waiting room. the Lady guard not talking well. not only with us also there are some another people standing outside and she not allowed them also. so i want to say that what kind of people railway department appoint here and there who even don't know how to talk with there customers they don't have any manners.

                                      In Indian Railway services were became very worst worst worst.


                                      On the date of 7th nigth My father and my brotheraged 10 year(student of 5th standard) in law did journey from puttur to Kachiguda.
                                      I went to receive them from Hitech city to kachiguda and we caught by a bledy begger, tc muslim guy in the station.

                                      Handovered us to complaint board to pay extra amount(fine of Rs: 300) due to travel of major guy with children ticket (my brother in law for the age of 10 yrs).

                                      Finally they bargained and took the amount of 100 as a lupsum left us with out any receipt intimation.


                                      This is what happening in pools maintanance in railway.


                                      Actually we dont know the age max limit for children then i came to know while googling in the websites.

                                      is there any one who handle these kind of cases.

                                      I m citizen of India and a regular passenger of Indian railway. Weekly I do up down from Del-Cnb-Del. But today -(07.02.2011 Monday) I had a very bad experience travelling in Shram Shakti tria no : 12451.My reservation was in RAC 39 birth no 30. I waited for the T.T. but no body turned up and I was not able to locate my seat in the train. Whole night I came standing in the train with horrible male passsengers around. Next day I had to join my office but due excersion I was not able to. Kindly inform the authority to send the T.T. for ticket checking at least at night so that females who are travelling alone should not face any kind of problems at night in the train.

                                      Very often, it is observed that the attendants of the waiting rooms are not allowing the passengers to enter inside the waiting room who hold valid reservation tickets for onward journey and are discourteous to them.Clearcut guidelines, in this regard should be issued to all concern.
                                      Dear Sir,
                                      Today i.e. on 21st May 2011, I had gone to BRAHMAPUR (BAM) reservation counter for booking tickets.My wife is physically handicapped and to this effect a certificate has been issued by the attending Government Doctor i.e. Ordinance Factory, Jabalpur on form No. Appendix 1/36 ( prescribed by Railways). I produced the relevant certificate to the booking clerk and requested him to issue the concession ticket for othopedically handicapped persons to which he raised the following objections :
                                      a) A certificate issued by the District Board should be invariably enclosed to this form.
                                      b)To became eligible for concession, the percentage of handicap should be more than 50%
                                      However, after lot of heated arguments, he reluctantly issued the tickets.I shall be obliged if you kindly clarify whether production of District Board Handicap certificate is mandatory for availing concession facility and percentage of handicap if less then 50% is not eligible to avail the facility even if he/she CANNOT TRAVEL WITHOUT THE ASSISTANCE OF AN ESCORT.

                                        Sir,

                                        I had booked a ticket from Pune to Dadar. The ticket did not get confirmed and got cancelled. No refund was sent to my account so I filed a TDR claim for refund. The claim was not acknowledged and also afterwards I recive following mail.

                                        "It is noted that the following PNR No:-[protected] has been filed by you for TDR through online mechanism. It is informed by the railways to IRCTC that in all these cases person have travelled and still claims for refund are filed. Please inform the reasons for this fraudulent activity on your part. Your user id has been temporarily deactivated now. "

                                        As per the Indian Railway rules all e-tickets which do not get confirmed get cancelled so whosoever travells on those tickets is travelling without ticket. Then how can I could have been travelling on that ticket.

                                        Secondly what proof does IRCTC has before calling me a fraudster that I travelled on that ticket.

                                        On top of it they have blocked my account on the web site so that I can not even verify which ticket and PNR they are talking about. I do not think they expect me to remember all the PNR numbers for all my journeys. IRCTC has simply assigned me a incidence ticket IRCTC #525755 and doing nothing about it since 14July2009

                                        Please let me know as to how to proceed about the same.

                                        Why IR is doing such things!!
                                        Based on just a tick from TTE who never leave any seat empty and sell it out, they are terming somebody 'wrongful' or fraud!!

                                        I have booked railway e-tickets from KARMALI (KRMI) to THANE (TNA) in the name 1. Mr, Uadaykumar F 45, 2. Ms. Sanjana F 39, and 3. Kum. Manashvi F 10 on today i.e. 02/27/2011. I could not print my railway e-tickets because I got a massage that can not find server but I have received SMS from TD-BOInd that Rs. 710/- has been debited from my account toward POS- IRCTC on 02/27/2011
                                        This is my first time experience with IRCTC. Pleased sent me railway e-tickets by mail on my ID [protected]@india.com.
                                        If not possible to sent me railway e-tickets than refund my amount on my account of Bank of India.
