I fully agree with Mr Karmarkar and i too had bad experience with my LG refrigerator. I had to switch over to samsung and pretty happy with the performance and the prompt customer care. LG better pull up their socks or else have to close shop soon.

I fully agree with you. My LG refrigerator 181PP4 also had same problem. Kept on cracking. Freezer lid, bottle racks. Very fragile and low quality material. In Feb 2008 it suddenly stopped cooling. I lodged complaint and a person so called engineer but in actual mistri came and said gas has finished and your stabilizer is not O.K. He took it with him to his one room service centre and after 2 days returned it saying now its O.K. He charged 750 Rs. On 20th april 2008 it started same cooling problem. I called them continuously for 3 days but they didn't come. On 28th April 2008 I exchanged that antique piece of LG with Samsung RT28. Let us see how it will be. Till now I am impressed with Samsung interiors and its Mr. Cool pack.
even i m facing same prob. vegetable tray of the LG refrigerator got broken in the middle. so i had gone to LG service center to purchase new tray. they noted down my contact no. and item no. of tray. And asked me to wait till the product comes. After 15 days i called them to know abt the progress. But they again asked me the item code. That means they didn't bother to keep keep previous costumer records. And again told me to wait for more days. Then after few days, i called them, the lady on the phone said, I[censored] come personally instead of complaining on phone the work will be done faster. Then I again went to so called LG service center. They did the same thing again, noted my contact no. and item code of tray.It was my 3rd time to do so. I asked them to give me my complain number. But they refused to give me. And said, there is no such provision of giving complain no. It shows the irresponsibility of LG.
I am the customer who is purchase all electronics goods like T.V., Micro oven, Refrigerator etc. in my home.Why because I like ur Service & Quality.

I have purchaged intellocool refrigerator LG make from PAI international Indiranagar Banglore. compressor having Very high noice level which is not tollerable also defrost water collecting tray (Funnel may be costing of Rs 5 to 10) was missing. After complaint no any response from LG and PAI. after about 38 days funnel provided but till to day no any response for very noice level. Before 15 years there are fridges having no noice. But it is surprise that to day in advanced technology too much noice is coming from fridges. Very poor quality with very very poor services.
I prefered LG due to its quality and bought a TV 2 months back. Suddenly it stopped functioning. Then I lodged a complaint against it with request id : N8C70907461 on 9th July 2008.
But Its a matter of regret from LG, as this complain has not been closed yet, even there is no follow-up of my complain.
When I called LG-helpline, those people say that there is a part need to be replaced in TV but that part is not available in LG.
I dont know when this part will be available in LG & when they will close this complain.
Now I am now regretting my decision of trusting the LG brand as it has a very poor quality with very very poor services.

SIR,I have purchesd lg referigator before aprs.9month ago.i am not satisfied with your this products, on purchasing product in few days i got compalint regarding breakage of door selves.i complaint the same but i could not get any responce.now on 22.07.008 i have complaint again regarding not setisfiy working of fridge & also problam in the door of frider.and also problam in cooling.complaint no. is id is nbs72303393.i hope you can under stand my problaman shotout it .i am already using lg products but before never i got any problam.I this case i feel poor quality of the referigater.please responce at earlist.

i too was a sucker for LG.. i thought it was a name brand that would stand behind their products.. i have six cracks in frig.. the vegtable drawer, folding shelf, and in the removable shelf.. fool me once..
i have Lg refrigerator . When purchase of refrigerator we found damage in body. we complain in lg office. person was come and tell us company replace machine who was fill up the form.After three i talk to authorized person first he committed replacement of machine but after a week he refused. we have realized very poor service and they can not give better response customers, and his complain.
LG is not good, Poor service, Not Committed person, All time different statement of person.

I have an LG refrigrator 310 litres model GR 312 GV. The shelf plastic material is really unsuitable. Within few months of purchase one shelf broke and with great difficulty we got it changed from LG after payment as they do not guarantee plastic parts. Now the chilled compartment crystal has broken.

It seems ther is a manufacturing problem or they have not choosen the right material for this kind o[censored]sage. Being a reputed brand, they themselves should look into the probelm to find a solution as well as compensate the customers who are facing this problem by replacing the shelves with suitable alternative, free of cost.
I hope some one from LG attends on priority.

I also purchased a LG refrigerator and faced the same problem. The shelves are of very poor quality and I faced other problems also.
I HAVE GIVEN A COMPLAIND LONG BACK ONE YEAR BACK.REGARDING I NEED WHEELS FOR MY REFREGERATOR.THAT TIME U DONT HAVE WHEELS .TILL THE DATE NO REPLY.I THINK I HAVE TO WAIT BUT HOW MANY YEARS.JUST LET ME KNOW.HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE TO GIVE COMPLAINTS.
I am strongly agree with the above mentioned complaints. I too purchased a LG Refrigirator from the dealer(Harjeet electronics, west patel nagar) and from the begining only we faced problem in cooling. The complaint has been logged on to the dealer and also to the area manager Mr. Goel and they committed to get it replaced the same.

LG Refrigerator — Refrigerator Body breaking up
Dear Sir,1. I purchased an LG Refrigerator in Oct 2006. Almost 6 months back its body started developing cracks, handle broke into pieces, door stopped closing automatically and cooling went down.
2. On approaching LG vide Complaint No[protected], they responded of sending there representative to check the fault. However after long wait for the representative asked for money to even see the plight of the fridge. Besides being so negative, he was rude enough not to give his full name and contact number. He promised to come between 12 PM and 8 PM and that time never mentioned his money condition. At 0830PM he called and asked for money. We cancelled all out scheduled programmes for the day for him and he not only asked for money but disgusted us with his attitude.
3. The company should change the refregirator and take disciplinery action against such employ.

See that the authories who have sold him such a refrigirator shall be punished under law and appropriate compensation shall be paid to the owner along with a new refrigirator.
