[Resolved]  Maruti Swift Dzire — Maruti Suzuki Dzire Booking Problems

I have been trying to book a Maruti Swift Dezire VXI from the last few days, and am going through the a harrowing experience with the Dealers. I first went to Pratham Motors at Outer Ring Road to book the car. They refused to take a booking and told me that Maruti has stopped taking booking of Swift Dezire cars. When I put pressure on them they told me that they can take the booking but the delivery would take 9 months. They had 2 weeks back told me that the delivery would take 3 months, which was also long, but I was ready to accept it. But last week they told me that they would be able to deliver in 9 months. I was also surprised by their behavior.

I then called up the Maruti call center and spoke to Jiten, He told me that there was no stop from Maruti’s end on booking for Dezire and the delivery period was much earlier than 3 months. He took my mobile no. and promised me that somebody would be calling me at the earliest. But till now there is no call.

After that I spoke to multiple other dealers in Bangalore for the booking but every body was mentioning that the delivery would take 4 to 6 months. When I spoke to Mr. Anil from RNS Motors, Yesthwantapur. He told me that they could deliver the vehicle in 3 months time, I was relived and asked him to send a person to take the booking immediately. But nobody came for the booking till afternoon. Then I had to call Mr.Anil multiple times. Then at last in the evening he promised that one sales executive would reach my home late in the evening.

At last at 8 PM one Sales Executive from RNS Motors Bomanhalli reaches my home, gives me a price and tells me that there are no discounts and any freebees. I agree to the same and fill the booking form. After filling the form when I was giving him a cheque of Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, he refused to take it and said that the Booking amount for the Swift Dezire is Rs.1, 00, 000/-, which is fixed by Maruti. I asked him to show me documentation to this effect, he was unable to show any documentation. After that I spoke to the Sales Manager, of RNS Motors Bommanhalli and also with Mr. Anil from RNS Motors Yeshwantpur the accept Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, but they FLATLY REFUSED.

After that I also called the Maurti call center again and spoke to Mr. Danish, and asked him if Maruti had fixed the booking amount of Rs.1, 00, 000/- for the Swift Dezire. He told me that Maruti had not fixed any thing of this kind and he would take it up with the concerned authorities. I asked him for the phone nos. of the Regional Manager at Bangalore of his mail id. He refused to give them to me and just gave a email id [protected]@maruti.co.in.

At end of all this experiences I feel very disturbed with the way I was treated by the Maruti dealers. The attitude they have is like they have a monopoly and can take the customers for a ride. My not buying a Maruti car will not make any difference to a big company like Maruti. I just wanted to check with Maruti if this the way the want their dealers to treat customers and claim to be the Winner of J.D.Power Customer Satisfaction awards, year after year.

I had sent the entire above details to the email id provided by the call center and also put in the details in their web site. I got a reply mentioning that the complaint has been sent to the concerned department and they would get back to me. 5 days had passed and there was no reply. So I sent a reminder mail.

Some body then called from the call center and was taking the details when the line got disconnected. He did not bother to call me again after that. This is kind of service we get from the leading Car Manufacturer in India.

Maruti Swift Dzire — loot in maruti dzire

i hv booked d'zire b fore 1 month. As per deler condition i hv to pay 100 % in advance and even at @14% intrest rates from Hdfc bank, If i directly take a loan via same bank i could easily get the same loan at @ 10.25% from the same bank.
but the kataria automobile/ ahmedabad said me that if you want to book a car, you must take the loan via us and the rates will be extrimly high... and i had to do so..now waiting waiting...n waiting...already paid 100% amount to the deler...even install ments started...but maruti loot ...no words...
I have booked swift dzire VXI S.Blue colour in 1st April and I
stll havent got the delivery. I have booked the car with Spectra Motors
Gorgaon, Mumbai and they are also not replying with the confirm date and
are asking to contact maruti udhyog regrding delivery date. I called up
Maruti Udyog and nobody came on line to answer my call (very
dissappointing and bad customer serice). I would lke to know a confirm
delivery date. So please if you can help me getting the delivery as
early as possible.
The best fastest way to get delivery of Dzire is to complain to the following addresses, apparently those of top brass of Maruti. Worked for quite a few gutys I know.

I too booked Dzire lxi on 8th april at Jalan Motors Kolkata by paying a cheque of Rs.1, 00, 000/-.They said, my car will come in one months time.On 12 th May, the sales agent rang me and told me that if I pay the full amount my file will move faster and allottement will be made early.So, I paid the full money.On 20th may, the sales agent calls me up and says that Dzire price lxi has been hiked by Rs.24, 500 and I will have to pay this price and still have to wait for 3 months to get delivery!!Just imagine the callousness of MUL.Inspite of lot of argument, I had no option but to cancel the booking and have now booked an Indigo cs ls, as I feel that Maruti is cheating us with Dzire.Their cars mite be good but you should not cheat us of our hard earned money in this way.Besides their base model lxi does"nt have any of those features people are raving about in diff websites.

sad to know your story, you could have waited till aug and would have gone for fait linea.
its good car. if it is release who cares for dzire. kick mul.
these people are taking advantage of situiation.
Maruti is taking us on a ride. TIll date they have been producing very few dzire petrol cars.They are trying to create artificial demand in the market.Today honda slashed the price. Where as Maruti increased the price. WIth out delivering the car.
friends please update if anyone of you get your dezire. please mention the date of boking and date of delivery.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT SOMEONE SHOULD TAKE SOME ACTION AGAINSTS RNS MOTORS, THEY ARE CHEATING CUSTOMERS BIG TIME WHILE BOOKING THE CAR AND EVEN DURING SERVICING.

Maruti Swift Dzire — Non Delivery of Vehicle

Sir,
I have booked a Swift Dzire ( white colour ZDI ) model on 28th march in a small town of satara. On the day of the booking i was promised delivery in the next 15 to 20 days.

Till today I have no intimation when I will get the delivery of my car. I have tried to contact the maruti call center and they have just given me a complaint no and no body including the dealer does not respond to the same. They just give one answer that the are not getting deliveries from Maruti.

I just cannot understand why MARUTI has not given clear instructions to their delears on what the delivery time would be for vehicles. The company is a professonally managed company and why there is no transperancy in the operations as to find out the status of the booking and delivery of the cars.

Hi All,

I had booked Dzire Vxi on 1st April and had been waiting since then. Today surprisingly i received a call from dealer saying that my car is coming in a day's time and i should get the delivery of the car within this week. Will let u all know when i get the delivery of my car (till then fingers crossed !)

now Price : 688000/- on road VDI+no freebies+minimum waiting 8 months

Maruti... a BIG giant in india (worst dealers with worst customer service)

I booked my car Dzire VXI with T.R Sawhney Motors, Delhi on 15th April and was told that I wil get getting a surprise call of delivery within 2 months. Foget about it ! .. Now the time has come closeer and i have been following up on this and what i hear is another 4 months waiting, so that total time is now has raised to 6 months nothing else ... money blocked .. inconvinience caused .. no charm to get new car ...
worst company i ever seen in my life.
In today's newspaper Maruti has declared a 12% interest on the booking amount if the waiting periods exceed 16 days . Some relief for the people with money blocked .

Yeah...Maruti is a customer focussed company. They are dedicated to provide their consumers with the best quality products at the least cost. However, if I only they had a network of dealers who were sincere and fair.

Hail Maruti, booking Dzire and getting it delivered in future will not only save your money as compared to if you their rival's products but it will also make money for you!!! But their opaqueness in delivery system calls for much better compensation. I have lost any desire to drive my first car named Dzire. Its like book it forget it.

Hey is there a problem with the car as well? Heard quite a few brake problems and rattling issues. One TD vehicle had a major accident and fell into a river. I dont know if it was driver's fault or not. Also is it tail happy?

I dont want my 12%..I want my car. I might as well have invested in stock markets (shorted) or commodity futures if I had to earn on my savings. Of course this 12% comes with *T&C.
