[Resolved]  Myway IPTV — MYWAY IPTV THE WORST SERVICE and CUSTOMER CARE

I am a customer (Customer ID:[protected] of MYWAY IPTV since 5/08/2010 by paying Rs 2000/- initially. Since I shifted my house within 3 km in Chennai on 01/November/2010, my BSNL landline got changed. Now I am not in a position to avail the iptv facility.
I talked with the customer care executive and got information that I could avail the same after giving a complaint regarding this by mentioning the new BSNL number and hence I recharged my connection for November month for Rs 200/-. But later I got the information from another executive that it is not possible to avail iptv service since the number got changed.
They didn't mention anything like this in terms and conditions and it is really a bad procedure. Being in a metro city like Chennai, people tend to change their locations and while transferring the landline, BSNL exchange gets changed and hence the number also gets changed. Without any charges the BSNL landline and broadband got transferred. But being a part of BSNL, the myway iptv service providers should have the facility to transfer the iptv connection along with the landline.
They told me to cancel the existing connection and avail a new connection by paying Rs 1500/- again. This is really a bad procedure. They can make this possible just by changing the telephone number in their database. This is a simple procedure for them. But for me it is a loss of money.

bsnl myway — Bad Customer Service

Dear Sirs,

I would like to share the bad experience of BSNL MyWay IP TV. I'm already going ahead for the request on disconnection of this pathetic service. There are many issues I've faced in past 20 days which reconfirmed my decision about this facility. the gist of few of them go as below:
1. The connection was given on 03-Mar-2010, the connection was out of order for 2 full days due to issues with telephone line.
2. The moment IP TV connection settings were done on my modem, the admin password of my modem stops working. This issue was reported on day-1 & is yet not resolved.
3. When I receive the call on my phone line, my IP TV gets stuck.
4. 3 times so far I called up the customer service toll-free number. 2 times of them the system was not working/undergoing updates. Hence they guided me to send the mail.
5. Mail sent to [protected]@myway.in are not responded.
6. I'm not able to register my account on their website using my subscriber id & MAC no. After reporting this issue on 18-Mar-2010 through mail, I've not received any feedback till date.
7. Instead of resolving the above issue which would allow me to pay the monthly rental, MyWay has disconnected my connection.
