Dear Sir,
I had purchased one Nokia Set (CDMA 2505) on 6th January 2009, whose ESN no is [protected] and product code is 0548969, from Limton (P) ltd – 13& 14, B.B.D Bag (E) Kol -1.

Unfortunately from the next day of my purchase, I found that my set was defective and it has different problems as mentioned below.

1. The Phone is getting automatically restarted during operation period.

2. Some time, the phone is automatically getting switch off. Just by pressing the power button I cannot make it switch on, only when the battery if taken out and reinserted again, and then after pressing the switch on function it is getting switched on.

Hence I went to the shop from where I had purchased, but they suggests me to go to NOKIA CARE.
As per their advice, I went to NOKIA CARE (Everest Mobicare, 10, Lenin Sarani, opp Loreto School Dharmatolla, Kolkata-700013) on 09.01.09, and they updated my phone software. Surprisingly after the service also, I found my problem persists and on top of it one extra problem has cropped up, i.e R-World icon was missing.

Again I went to NOKIA CARE on 10.01.09, they received my phone and send it to their head office and later they delivered my phone on 17.01.09. After checking, I found that R-World problem was rectified but the Auto off problem still persists.

Hence again I was compelled to go to NOKIA CARE on 19.01.09, they again received my phone and send it to their head office. They delivered my phone on 05.02.09 but still the problem was there.
Tired but since no other opportunity was left in my hand, again I went to NOKIA CARE on 07.02.09. As usual they received my phone & also the battery and send them to their head office. They delivered back my phone on 16.03.09 and said that the battery was creating problem, so they swapped my battery. But still I found that the Auto off problem persists and one extra problem has added this time i.e the phone was not vibrating.

So, Again I went to NOKIA CARE on 18.03.09, they received my phone and delivered it back to me on 31.03.09. After checking I found that Vibration problem was rectified but the main problem i.e Auto off still persists.

Now, pl suggest what should be my next step. I have already visited Nokia care and given my phone for servicing 5 times within a year but it all turned useless and the company was totally incapable of solving my problem. I am really frustrated to hear lame excuses and the long time they took to solve one small problem from a company which claims to be number one in Mobile phone industry. I am sorry to say, that the service which you provide to the customers is really pathetic.

Hence I request you to look into the matter with due seriousness and find out some way to solve the problem so that it does not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

I bought a New Nokia E 63 Phone on 5th April 2009, On the third day itself phone started having problem.
Its Menu was not functioning properly. I registered a complain on the 9th April nothing happened. Again on 11 April still no solution. On 22 April09 I went to Nokia care and now they are replying it will take another two weeks to get it repaired. I don't understand why organization like Nokia is having such a pathertic service when it comes to customer. Expect a reply and hopfully a solution for this.

Subject: Problem in Battery Back-up.

Sir/Madam,

We are shocked to bring to your knowledge that we had purchased the Nokia 7310 set, Serial No. [protected] on 7th Jan, 2009 which is infested with certain technical problems especially BATTERY BACK-UP. The battery doesn't even last for 12 hours whereas it was specified in the book that it has a long-time battery back-up of more than 48 hours. We had sent it for repairing at Nokia Care in Kanpur on[protected] but they returned it that very day saying that it has a software problem and has to be sent at Noida Nokia Care. It was sent on the 18th of March and after 29 days, i.e. on 16th of April, when we got it back, no change was seen.
Since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set or repair the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

I PURCHASED NOKIA N 76 IN JUNE 2008 FOR A PRICE OF RS. 14500/-. THE SET HAS A WARRANTY OF ONE YEAR WHICH IS VALID. THE CAMERA SWITCH ON THE OUTER SIDE BROKE DOWN. I WENT TO NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE -ADDRESS 0-9, LAJPAT NAGAR NEW DELHI. THE MANAGER NAMED MR BHUPINDER TOLD ME THAT THIS REPAIR IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE WAARRANTY AS PER NOKIA COMPANY POLICY. HE GAVE ME ESTIMATE OF RS 6000/- FOR REPAIR.

I TOLD NOKIA MANAGER THAT NOBODY WOULD PAY RS 6000 FOR REPAIR OF A SMALL CAMERA SWITCH. NOKIA N 76 HAS A SMALL CAMERA MAYBE 2 MEGA PIXELS. ONE CAN EASILY GET A NEW CAMERA WITH UPTO 8 MEGA PIXELS FOR RS 6000.

I FELT SO BAD WITH SERVICE OF NOKIA.. THEIR WARRANTY CLAUSE IS MISLEADING AND FALSE. AT THE TIME OF SALE SO MANY PROMISES ARE MADE. WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITHIN WARRANTY PERIOD, THEY TELL ABNORMALLY HIGH REPAIR COST.

WORST THING IS I WANTED TO SPEAK TO SOME SENIOR PERSON IN NOKIA. BUT SERVICE CENTRE DO NOT ARRANGE FOR IT. ON THE WEBSITE OF NOKIA ALSO NO SUCH FACILITY FOR INTERACTION EXISTS.
