[Resolved] Passport — delay in passport | |||
My daughter Ms SAKSHI has applied for new passport at RPO RK Puram New Delhi on 20.12.2010 vide File No.A073866 dated 20.12.2010. The status is showing "PASSPORT WAS PROMISED FOR DELIVERY BY POST ON 21.03.2011. BUT IT IS NOT READY. PLEASE MEET CONCERN PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER". In this connection we have met the PRO (Mr. Khanna Room No.11 first floor) on 24.3.2011 who assured us that the passport will be sent within 2-3 days as there was no objection in application form. But after 4 days when I saw the status it was showing as above. Then I again met the PRO on 28.3.2011 and he said the same thing as said earlier. But after all this exercise the status is still showing as above. I request the concern authorities to look into the matter and send the passport at the earliest. Was this information helpful? | |||

Dear Sir
I have applied for the passport on dated 12 Nov.2009 along with all relevant documents and schedule fees. My file no. is A124046/09
I have been getting the message for the last couple of month that "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time"
But inspite of 2 month past the message is same and passport is still awaited.
You are requested Please look the possibility to despatch my passport an early date.

I want to know the reason that why my daughter's passport has not been despatched yet inspite of all the records being clear. From last 1 month the status is coming that "passport will be despatched in a week's time" but still it has not been despatched and before that the status was that " Your police record is cleared so your passport will be despatched within a week's time". This status flag since 25/03/2010, I send many Emails, fax & also MAIL TO APO & telephonically contact then one mail RPO sent ,”as per our computer records your police report clear & passport under normal process if any urgency contacted to PRO WITH PROOF. About 10months passed but process still running & people applied after me getting passport earlier .what I will do to get passport.
