[Resolved] Passport — delay in passport | |||
My daughter Ms SAKSHI has applied for new passport at RPO RK Puram New Delhi on 20.12.2010 vide File No.A073866 dated 20.12.2010. The status is showing "PASSPORT WAS PROMISED FOR DELIVERY BY POST ON 21.03.2011. BUT IT IS NOT READY. PLEASE MEET CONCERN PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER". In this connection we have met the PRO (Mr. Khanna Room No.11 first floor) on 24.3.2011 who assured us that the passport will be sent within 2-3 days as there was no objection in application form. But after 4 days when I saw the status it was showing as above. Then I again met the PRO on 28.3.2011 and he said the same thing as said earlier. But after all this exercise the status is still showing as above. I request the concern authorities to look into the matter and send the passport at the earliest. Was this information helpful? | |||

I have applied passport for my kid on 17th January 2009, police verification was done. Till now the passport is not yet received.

The online status of passport is "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time "
It has been the same status from last 50 days. I don't what stopping them to dispatch.

I was unavailable on my first Police varification due to some reason. After continous follow-up,

Mysellf Gurpreet Singh from Ambala Cantt. I have applied for passport from D.C. Office, Ablaba in December and a got a slip which contains file no. as Z333450 dated 19/12/08. My verification has been conducted on 14/02/09. But till date I have not gor my passport. And if I am searching the status of my passport in Indian Passport web site with my file no. then it shows the message as the information is incorrect or particulars not updated. It has been more than 3 months from my varification and there should be some information regarding the varification status or passport delay status in Indian passport website. Pls help to resolve the issue.

I have submitted forms for renew of my passport on 5th March, 2009 and submitted PPF on 15th May, 2009 at Sec'Bad passport office. I wish to inform you that I had applied the passport for ghaziabad office in Aug 2008 and all the enquiries of Police and LIU, have been completed. But still the passport has not issued me. While checking the status on internet the message is coming that My Father's name is different as per my attached document and asked for clarification.
I wish to inform you that the above difference in my father's name was due to only his Sir name "Sharma" which is not written in my certificates while filing the Passport form I have written the Sir name too, because in the passport form the Sir name was asked compulsorily there.
I wish to inform you that regarding the above three times by post, by e-mail and fax also I have sent the clarification in my passport office Ghaziabad, but still I din't receive my passport or any of their messages.
Kindly do the needful action at your end for which I shall be highly obliged.
