[Resolved] Passport — delay in passport | |||
My daughter Ms SAKSHI has applied for new passport at RPO RK Puram New Delhi on 20.12.2010 vide File No.A073866 dated 20.12.2010. The status is showing "PASSPORT WAS PROMISED FOR DELIVERY BY POST ON 21.03.2011. BUT IT IS NOT READY. PLEASE MEET CONCERN PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER". In this connection we have met the PRO (Mr. Khanna Room No.11 first floor) on 24.3.2011 who assured us that the passport will be sent within 2-3 days as there was no objection in application form. But after 4 days when I saw the status it was showing as above. Then I again met the PRO on 28.3.2011 and he said the same thing as said earlier. But after all this exercise the status is still showing as above. I request the concern authorities to look into the matter and send the passport at the earliest. Was this information helpful? | |||

this is seshaiah applied for passport and i completed my police enquiry also but one month back i got a letter from passport office to submit "ANNEXURE B" again and i send it within 2 days but i dont know about my status till now .This is my second complaint and i hope a replay for this. my passport details are:

My wife Smt Suvarna Lakshmi Jakkaraju has applied for a new passport at Bhopal vide application dated 04 Aug 2008 under application no. A[protected]. The passport was despatched on 03 Nov 2008 to our residential address (officers quarters of NABARD Bhopal). However, we were not in station during the time of delivery by the postal dept. and the passport was returned to the passport office undelivered. We approached the passport officer on 24 Nov 2008, who was kind enough to receive a request letter along with address proof and photograph of the applicant so as to enable them to send again the passport to my residence.
Sir, it is nearly a month from the date submission of our request and 4 months 20 days since submission of application. In spite of my reminding the bhopal office by e mail there is no response. Hence, the need to request you to help me obtain the passport in respect of my wife. Anticipating an early action from you.

Am working abroad, wanted to bring my wife applied passport on 8th aug still its in lucknow office, I came last month still I have not received.Its very urgent let me know any possibilities getting my wifes passport on hand within week.
