[Resolved]  Remit2India.com — Stay away from this company!

Dear All,

I received a cheque of
Rs.3, 811.00 as on February 21st, 2008, but the name is wrongly mentioned on the cheque, so i am unable to encash it.

so, pls i request you to cancel the chq.which i got ...mention my name on the chq.correctly & directly credit the amount in the bank ...

But i received the chq.of CITI BANK

Please do the needful asap...

I think Remit2india is better online money transfer service than any other services, i have used so far..as i am a regular customer of remit2india i am checking each and every corner of their services and terms. many people here are not satisfied with the exchange rates and all but if you check on

here if you see closely then these guys have clearly mentioned that
"*Exchange rates mentioned above are indicative.Applicable rate will be as on the day of conversion."

here you guys are making mistakes. so before blaming any services you have to ensure that the thing you have seen was correct or not. I am also regularly doing transactions via R2I and and i have recommend this service to many friends of mine. and we all are enjoying their quality of service, and always getting feel that, though we are out of home so far but still we are not so far..

Thanks for posting this comment kartik, even i have also did the same mistake but thanks to remit2india's customer support team they understood my problem and corrected all my mistakes, i must say these guys are understanding the value of our money.

I agree with sajith. I also did lot of transactions with Remit2india and now a days they start making customers fool. They have poor customer service. They took out option to cancel transactions from there site and even on call they are not ready to cancel the transactions which was just done. I also found that they are showing different exchange rates and giving different rates at transaction. They are becoming fraud

I have bad customer support experience with ICICI money transfer. My user id got locked out and the customer service is not able to get it unlocked for last 5 months. Clicnking on the link on website to reset pawssword doesnot send any generated passwords. Not sure when all these people will learn ???? :(

I have sent 8 mails on this regards!!!

I tried transferring substaintial funds using R2I. The funds have been stuck up in their partner bank account and are not getting transferred and i m not getting any response from them on why the remittence is not taking place.

Worst come worse no one is answering my emails either and there is no Indian number that I can call . I am at loss as to what to do next

I did the same mistake and here i am regretting
the customer service is bad
they have not deposited the money and claiming they have.
I have a written mail from SBI which says they have rejected the transaction.

this is a fraud company stay away
