[Resolved] Samsung Sch - S259 — Complaint About Service Center | |
I buy new SAMSUNG SCH-S259 (OCA75E1D)on 23/12/2007 right from second day it start giving Hangup problem on 04/01/2008 i given it for repair at Samsung Service Center Parel they have done software flash of phone,But problem still exhist so i went to Vileparle MAin office "CUSTOMER SERVICE plaza Vileparle Mumbai" on 28/02/2008,They Returned the cell on 04/03/2008 telling that they have Replaced the Mother board as I Stated above my cell code was OCA75E1D But thy have given me some other cell with lot of Scratches on it,pls not at both the service centers while giving for repair i insisted for Replacement of Cell But thy refused.now with whole long wastage of my time and money i have a cell with a lot of scratces on it looking 2 years old and its key pad is not functioning properly.Now i fedup with your service centers they have cheated giving me an old cell.you are kindly requested to pls do the needful as soon as possible otherwise i will file complaint in consumer forum with reference to bill and your both work orders. I Agree the complaint of MOHD. SAJID... same problem found in my handset also.
i also have the samsung sch s259 mobile.This is the worst mobile i have ever used.It does not have the facility to set a MP3 song as ringtone.No video player is provided to play video file like asvi, 3gp, mp4, wmv. Inially no samsung cable driver is working for it, but now samsung has provided sone software on site for compativility. even one is not able to set mp3 as ring tone. i stopped using this set and now using gsm mobile. If anyone has the solution for my problems kindly mail me at : [protected]@yahoo.com

go to mp3 files and select song goto options and click set as ringer
Samsung SCH-S259 the worst product ever produced by Samsung electronics in INDIA i have lost trust in the brand and advise the customers not to buy any product of Samsung and Mr Amir Khan should Quit samsung endorsement that will damage his good image i hope mr Khan will follows his fans who made not SAMSUNG .

You can use samsung pc studio 5 for connecting your s259 to your pc.If anyone need more assistance then mail me.I will surely help.

The slot for the data cable is same from where you charge your mobile. To get a data cable, you have have to ask for data cable similar to D620 or D520 model of samsung, i mean one of them, i dont remember coz i have purchased the data cable long back. to connect your mobile, go to "utilities", then "user memory", then "memory card" and then "connect to pc".. just leave your mobile and it will connect automatically n yes it will ask for the code, u put ur security code, for beginners, its 0000 or whatever i[censored] have changed..
rey fools dont you know all of that before you buying that mobile.i am also using the same mobile. yes its true that we cant use data usb but the usb only supports internet. and we can set a mp3 song as a ringtone. if you want any more details call me at [protected]. thats true that more of your complaints are silly .

download samsung PC studio 5 for SCH-S259 from http://www.samsungcdma.in/samsung-explore-cdma-mobile-phone.aspx and you can do some more operations through data cable. But you cannot access the phone memory which is a essential area for playing with ring tones, wall papers and games.
Still I am not able to set MP3 music as ringtone. I have tried several ways; but no success.

guys i agree with you all this phone is a complete scrap cant set mp3 ring tones cant open images via memory card even JPEG format Mr samsung why on earth u came up with such a cell phone and to add to my misery i also bought a samsung E840 which has a not so helpful mobile tracker some one flicked it and ive been waiting for days so that i get that persons number and my IMEI number but its all in vain no message sorry but im fed up of samsung...
Friends i am also agreeing with your comments..the normal samsung s259 have no option to setup mp3 as ringtone and cant access jpeg images also from memory card..but the new product one from virgin mobile have facilities of setting up mp3 and a lot.the main thing is the both products of virgin and tata are same, only the software is different..so if any tataindicom user want to setup mp3 as ringtone and suchlike function they have to upgrade the software.
This is a complaint regarding samsung AC and its poor service.
after complaining they do not reply and that is a big big mental torture that when they reply the final result is a big zero.they do not attend the phone.when they attend they do not satisfy.they satisfy with the answer"that the engineer will reach at so and so time.but that time never comes.
Being such a big Company we feel ashamed of such incidents.we are also in small scale industries.but our service is far better than samsung.
Hope this message changes some attitude of the big officers of samsung company and their co service centre personal.
