Sir/Madam,
Just tell me a thing, when it is clearly written on original bond certificate that only bondholder can withdrawn the bond,

"THE BOND WILL BE REDEEMED OR WITHDRAWN ONLE ON THE SURRENDER OF THE BOND CERTIFICATE BY THE REGISTERED BONDHOLDER"

these words are written on the original bond certificate which means only bondholder can redeem or withdraw the bond, and company have no right to do this. Then tell me why is breaking the promise ?????

I had purchased 10 deep discount bond of SSNNL more than 20 yrs back which was to matured on early 2014.I have not received any communication from SSNNL.When I checked Internet I found that it had redeemed by company in 2009.I had given our bank details to SSNNL when I had purchased our bonds.SSNNL could have sent the maturity value to our bank accounts.Many investors still does not know bonds status or many investors died and their relatives does not know about the details of the bond. Is SSNNL has intention to grab investors money? What about the interest of such a long duration of lapse?Govt. of India should take a strong stand on it and protect the investors.
