[Resolved] Tata Communications — Installation problem & harrasment by sales agents | |
Hi, I am Sushil Chaudhari, resident of Khese park, Lohagaon road, Pune, Maharashtra. I booked TATA BROADBAND CONNECTION on 29-June-08, & I was boing told by the sales agents (Santosh Kale, CELL NO: - [protected] & Suhas, CELL NO. : - [protected]) that within a week's time I'll get the connection. Before booking the connection, I showed the site/ Location for the connection & both agents promised me that there will not be any technical fesiability problem as they have feasiability in my area & the distance from the Dishlane is only 500 meters. But after one week problem started, agents told me that they need more connections, so that they can install new dishlane, so they want more customers from me. I gave them 2 more customers & now they are saying they need more 5 more customers from my survey number 256, then only they will be able to install new dishlane in my survey no. 256. Now its morethan 45 days, I didnt recieved any confirmation call from their department for my connection, rest 2 connections are already installed within 7 days from booking & my connection is still not done. I spoke to their Technical Supervisor, HARSHDEEP (CELL NO.: - [protected]), he told me that the distance from the active Dishlane is much more & for a new dishlane installation he needs atleast 5 connections from my area, then only they can install new Diashlane, thats their company policy. & MOREOVER THEIR AGENTS (Santosh Kale, CELL NO: - [protected] & Suhas, CELL NO. : - [protected]) want me to arrange for those new connection, as they are unable to convence the other people to take connection & for the Infinity 384 Tariff plan. This is not my responsibility. While booking they didnt tell me all these things, I have already given them a cheque of Rs. 4496.00, dated 29-June-08, of HDFC Bank, Chq. no. : - 350786. This Chq is not presented in my bank till date. & when I call these sales agents they clearly tell me, if you want the connection, they arrange for another 5 customers or we will return your Cheque. I dont want my cheque back, I want service at any cost. I am not able to attend my online lectures & my exams are in next moth (SEP. 2008). Please help me, I am really pissed of by theses TATA people & really because these guy's only Tata Broadband sucks...
