[Resolved]  Tata Photon+ — New Tata Photon+ connection not registered after 8 days ~~M1481505

Dear Sir,
I would like to file a complaint against Tata Photon+ for their irresponsible after sale service and the trouble I have faced due to the same.

I purchased Tata Photon+ and Tata walki on 7th April with a cash payment of 2399/- for Photon+ with an additional cash payment of 600/- for postpaid scheme allowing 5GB data usage for next two months.Along with this cash payment, I made a cheque payment of 1250/- for walki. The Tata Indicom representative Mr. Nilesh Loharkar filled in single form(Form No.1767731) for these two services and have mentioned both the amounts on this.

Tata photon+ instrument was handed over to me on 7th April itself along with postpaid data services scratch card. Walki connection was installed on 8th April.

Issues:
1. Mr. Nilesh Loharkar did not hand over the receipts for both the instruments inspite of repeated requests. He kept on promising that he will send it to my mail which was not done. After contacting Mr. Samir Dey who is the Nodal office for tata Indicom, on 15th April, I received the receipt for walki on 15th april. However, I am yet to receive the receipt for tata Photon+ connection.
2. Mr. Nilesh loharkar activated my tata photon+ connection on 8th april. However, the connection was accessible only till 12th April. From 13th april onwards, I am not able to access internet using Tata photon+. I have been getting an error ‘Remote computer did not respond’ since 13th april.
3. I repeatedly contacted customer care for this issue resolution. They kept asking for account number which was never provided by Mr. Nilesh Loharkar/any tata representative. I contacted customer care 4 times. Each time they were not able to trace my Photon+ connection anywhere in their database. They took contact number of Mr. Nilesh Loharkar each time but didn’t do anything.I also contacted Nodal officer on landline on 14th April. The call was answered by a person named ‘Hari’. After explaining all the details to him, he expressed his apology and promised that some action will be taken and the connection will start soon. He also noted down contact number of Mr.Nilesh Loharkar but didn’t do anything.
4. On 15th April, I contacted nodal officer again. First time the call was answered by a girl who claimed to be in the team of nodal officer. I explained the issue to her to receive the same patent answer from her as well. On insisting that I want to speak to nodal officer, Mr. Samir Dey came on line. I explained the issue to him. He requested for MEID(A10000040D5005).He promised that he will trace the photon+ stick in the system and will also send some technical person to fix the issue.
5. On 15th April evening, I got a call from Tata Photon+ Technical support. The guy claimed, the MEID is not yet activated. He also claimed that although I used the internet for 4 days for normal surfing, he is not able to trace the usage. I find this very surprising and dangerous. I gave him the number of Mr.Nilesh Loharkar. However, I am yet to hear from him/anyone else.

Although I had purchased the Photon+ connection for home internet usage, I haven’t been able to use it since past 7 days. The issue is still not sorted. This whole episode has caused me lot of mental stress. I want to return the useless tata photon+ connection with full refund of my money i.e. 3000/- plus 5000/- for the mental trouble caused by their irresponsible customer care.

Please let me know the procedure of filing the complaint

Tata Photon+ — non activation of photon+ instrument

Tata Photon+ not working since last 4 months but Company is not responding and no try is given to activate my connection. When I call to call centre, they infomred me to write mail. When I wrote mail there was no reply. When called back they had closed my call saying resolved. My photon + is still inactive and company has closed the call.
I have purchased photon plus on 27th Mar submitting the proofs. My Photon plus number is [protected]. Proofs were verified by the dealer at Chromepet, Chennai. I have invested my money and time in getting those proofs with which i have already bought a gas connection and a reliance connection. I submitted Rental agreement as residence proof. Your dealer asked me to get a signature from a Notary public and I did the same. After 8 days the dealer is saying that proof is not acceptable. I don’t know what he was doing through out that eight days and he saying something when I contact. He never contacted me so far. Now they are asking me to submit a different proof. I have no patience to repeat the procedure again for which i have to spend money and time again. So kindly look into this matter and do the needful. If the proof is not acceptable, you could have informed me in prior when I shown them to you. What they were doing for this past 8 days. Yesterday the same office gave me a different reply that tata indocom is upgrading something and that is the reason your connection is not working. Like this many contradictions are there.

So kindly look into this matter and do the needful. I have already waited for days without any progress. If you think you cant help me in this regard, i have an option which i will let you know when you contact me in this regard. Thank you. Regards.

Tata Photon+ — No aftersale service as promised

I logged a complaint with TATA customer care stating that I am not geting the promised speed,in return I was promised that an engineer will visit to reslove within 24 hours but its been 3 days and no one turned out.I have been following it from past 3 days and eberytime customercare says that they are forwarding the complaint to higher department.
