[Resolved]  Tata Sky — Mental harrassment

I have never been a tata-sky customer. I have never subscribed to their services. Still i keep on receiving messages from the company (Ta-tatasky or tm-tatasky) about pending payment dues, recharging remenders, etc. On my personal mobile number. I hope this is total violation of one's privacy and results to mental harrassment.

No signal message for most subscribed channels

id -- [protected] No signal since last one week. Unable to add RMN. Toll free no is actually not toll free.

annoyed by the poor service

As I have paid for the mega pack and in return i have been provided with poor service by TATA sky by blocking all the regional and musical channels.

Not receving all the HD Channels

My registered mobile number is [protected]. My name is Jayesh Pramodrai Desai from last evening we are not receiving all the HD channels.

signal of maximum channels not coming

Signal of maximum channels are not coming except some entertainment channels like star plus, zee etc.TV screen is completely black.

My subscriber ID is [protected] and my tatasky is not receiving signal from last 5 days, I have complained many times to the customer care number and they are not even properly responding to my query. I have called 20 times to the customer care and they said that have put my issue on high priority but no one turned up for the service at my home. I have facd many obstacles since last 5 days to get in touch with u.

The worst service ever I have received from your side and I am gonna discontinue my tatasky service with effect from today.

Change of package request not attended

Repeated phone calls fails to alter my packages . unwanted channels are thrust on me .

I havent come across worse service than Tatasky service helpline. Since you pay a huge amount for the setup box, you are at their mercy. I have subscriibed to a HD recording box and an ordinary recording box. I am also an annual subcriber to the mega pack. So I am paying about Rs.11, 000 per year.

Last November, my ordinary recordin box had some problem. Tatasky provided a replacement box. They charged Rs.700 for it. The same box again had some mal function in Apr 2016 i.e. within 6 months. The technician said the box will have to be replaced again. I disputed the charges and refused to pay.

On June 9th, I called cust svc to revoke the charges, else I would have to cancel all business with Tatasky. The cust svc rep seemed to be so happy to disconnect. I asked them to hold of[censored]ntil my annual subscription would expire on Jul 19th anyway.

Today i.e. June 21st, I get a msg on my TV that my account has been deactivated. The account had a negative balance of Rs.700. They said unless I pay the balance, I cannot even have a conversation with them. So I decided to pay the balance. Now my balance is zero.

But I wasnt getting any reception. When I called Tatasky again, they said they cannot talk to me unless I have non-zero balance. But I told them, my account isnt expected to expire until Jul 19th. For that I was told, unless I have atleast Rs.200, they cant even take a request to consider reopening my account.

This pure blackmail and utterly poor service. I have been a premium customer for the last years. I used to recommend Tatasky to so many friends. Wonder what happened to Tatasky's service quality.

I though the service provided would be really great, Hence bought TATA Sky connection. But the service provided is really really BAD!!! I am frequently raising compliant to Customer care and they are not taking any call.. Its almost 64 hours... EVeryday I am calling and they put my call on hold...

I will raise a compliant against TATA SKY to Consumer court for sure!!!

Service is really really BAD!!! Its annoying!!! I wont refer my friends, relative to opt for TATA SKY connection...

I am frustrated TATA sky customer having 3 set top boxes and termed as a valuable customer by them ... in return I get the worst service one can give.

8 days ...12 complaints at their toll free number and no service. Spoke up to the supervisor level and was promised to fetch the problem by all in a days time.

Keep on waiting for 15 min for the call to be connected to the higher up but finally have to hang up losing patience.

Left with a feeling that TATA SKY doesn't value their customers at all.

This is a bad customer support and outcalling team of Tatasky ur team is calling thrice just to update an address I mean this an 21st century u cant find urself a good rep for noting down the address seriously u guys are loosing customer day by day
Actually its CEO Mr Harit Nagpal is DOING nothing and moreover he is not customer friendly as I had also complained firstly to help emails and then to harit.[protected]@tatasky.com. But no reply. I have sent many mails to him..Now one option is left as Mr Harit Nagpal is drawing hefty salary and as per public company's director's remuneration fixation we all can complaint to registrar of companies that he is not resolving issues (even being Director and CEO of Tatasky, nor he seems interested, then why to pay such hefty remuneration, as per declarations. Company is wasting on his salary as not able to provide and satisfy customers and moreover in my case tatasky's person admitted that they did not install connection properly (with very poor quality) and connection was made ok ONLY after 2 months after making many calls at chargeable no. I wanted full refund and harassment charges from tatasky (as I have written letters from the staff of tatasky, who came 2 months later). Even now tatasky seems violating TRAI guidelines on many fronts and customers all over india are suffering a lot It has not even provided OPENLY Tollfree No.[protected]. In my opinion Jaisa raja vaishi praja. Let us make a revolution wherein either we all must quit tatasky or force Mr Harit nagpal to quit if he cannot deliver. You can check tatasky's poor service is increasing day by day. They do not have latest receipts (no duplicate customer copies for attending to calls-clear violation, not providing receipts of dth boxes, not mentioning service tax separately on mailed invoices, how one can take rebate, if one want to take, putting all extra paid channels like showcase movies on top, so forcing consumers to waste time in changing channels.. and many such issues) and It seems other DTH are nowadays much better with less rates and better services. Now tata just remain a name and we MUST all say tata to tata.
We are having TATASky connection ID No. [protected] in the name of Dr M A Arif since 2010. We have annual subscription and are paying approx. Rs. 6000 every year. We have shifted to new house at Sarawati apptts. Pocket D, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. We paid transfer charges Rs 300, with work order no. N9U02BE for Mr Kishan Kumar executed the order. After some days the signal got defective and we called the technician again and paid Rs 200, after sometime again we paid Rs 200 for improvement of signal but even today the reception has few channels with no HD. I was told by the subsequent technician that the dish is not properly placed i.e. the installation of dish is not at proper place.
My question is: are consumers fools? If the dish was not installed properly, who was responsible, the consumer or the technician. Why should the consumer pay all the time for the defects caused due to faulty installation?

I have done recharge Rs. 1350 from Tatasky website on 30th June as Tatasky representative call and told that there is an offer for Rs. 1300 for a year subscription. But it was not credited in my Tatasky account. I have called several times to Tatsky representative and also chat several time. But no resolution received from Tatasky. I am attaching the Bank statement stating that it was credited in Tatasky account and some chat details with Tatasky representative.

Request you to solve the matter immediately. Rs. 1350 was debited from my account on 30th June and paid to tatasky.

Feeling very SAD with TATASKY
It is with a deep sense of anguish that I am sending this mail.

I have been using Tatasky services for the past ten(10) years during
which time I got my connection upgraded from ‘Tatasky’ to ‘Tatasky
Plus’ which entailed an additional payment by me and replacement of
the set top box by you.

For the past several weeks, the performance of my connection has been
extremely unsatisfactory and inconsistent with frequent and prolonged
disruptions irrespective of the weather conditions. About two months
ago, I got it attended by your authorised technician for similar
malfunctioning, but the improved performance did not last long. In
response to my fresh telephonic complaint to your helpline today, a
technician visited and checked the system. He advised that the set top
box needed to be replaced. However, I was shocked to hear from him
that

(a) Only a replacement of the set top box was offered and no repair
service is available

(b) However, under the ‘Replacement’ I would get only a repaired set
top box used by some other customer(s) earlier but not a brand new one

(c) My replaced set top box will be repaired and marketed to
another customer as ‘Replacement’.


The above three points were reiterated subsequently by your helpline assistant.


Now, the name Tata is identified by us customers as a company which
stands for quality and ethics. My experience as detailed above
suggests that both these attributes are compromised by Tatasky. While
failure of the set top box without any reason and that too within a
couple of months after the same was checked by your authorised
technician is indicative of poor quality, the policy of charging the
customer for ‘Replacement’ but actually providing only a repaired unit
while refusing to get his unit repaired for him is grossly unethical.


I presume that such aberrations are not in the knowledge of
responsible higher level management of Tatasky. Therefore I am
bringing it to your notice. I request you to kindly investigate the
matter and take appropriate steps to redress my grievance. Otherwise,
I will be constrained to not only switch to another service provider
but also to place above facts in public domain and simultaneously take
up with authorities of consumer protection.

Extremely poor service. Cant imagine a #Tata Company run so very inefficiently. we have 3 connections and all three are down for 12 days. The help desk is thoroughly incompetent.

Writing the mail in bold letters so that people who have weak eyesight may also read

I got to know by the so called Representative that i was saying OK while the representative was providing the information to me. 

I was saying OK  because i was acknowledging that guy that i am listening to him and just to be attentive while i was on a call with that.‎ 
It is a generic word which 99% people use while they are on call.

In any case saying OK do not mean that i have authorized that guy to activate a plan on my id. 

While i was on a call with Vineeta, she has used the word OK atleast 50 times on a call‎. So should I understand that she agree with me that my concern is correct or shall i understand that you are fake or you are charging me for incorrect thing?

I don't know why do you hire such illiterate p‎eople who take OK as an approval to subscribe everything and to those also who cannot take actions againt them.

OK is the generic word which every person uses while he or she is on a call.

I have the call record which i had with Vineeta wherein she agreed that your concern i correct and you are right but i will not refund the money as per company policy.

Such a FAKE policy you guys have.

I asked for the call record and you guys are not providing me the call record which i had with that person who has activated the pack  instead you yourself wrote an email that i agreed to the subscription. So, according to this if i will write anything to you than you guys will also accept anything and everything‎... Wowww
 
Salute to the trainer and the leaders, Management who are hiring such illiterate people who take  OK as the confirmation .

You guys seriously have a training and understanding issue.

I will make sure that i will drag this thing to consumer court and don't worry i will be attaching the call record and will as well in a moment and you guys will be notified about it.

And the best part is i never received any email, message or call‎ confirming or notifying me that i have asked to activate the subscription. Though whenever my recharge is expired you keep on poking me to recharge infact ask me for the recharge date.

Hats off to the fraud and fake guys. Seriously it's disgusting.

Highly disappointed.

Not gonna use the service anymore and i will try my best to make people aware about this through social media... sooner you guys will come to hear about the call record on You Tube..Facebook.. Twitter...

I will make sure that all the people may hear the call record which i had with customer care today... the fact is You guys do not have the call record‎ which is why you are not sharing but i do have the call record..

So, let's meet on social media and consumer court...
